Holiday rentals with breakfast in Argyll and Bute Council

Had a lovely stay at Alice‘s. She is very friendly and made me feel at home right away. The room was very clean with a private bathroom. The location is very quiet and peaceful. There are regular buses to Brodick (do check the timetables in advance though). Would totally recommend to stay there.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful lodge! The hosts were incredibly supportive and made our experience enjoyable. The serene surroundings were perfect for relaxation. The only downside was a slightly weak Wi-Fi connection, but it was a minor issue. We highly recommend this place for a tranquil getaway!

A comfortable, spacious and aesthetically creative/artistic home in a beautiful setting. A wonderful host who provided great bread, coffee and fresh fruit, before our sailing to Islay. Highly recommended and a stones throw from Tarbert. Thanks Karen , from C&J.

Ashley's place is in a neighborhood in the woods with a very secluded feeling. I really felt at home. The breakfast was more than I had expected. I definitely would stay there again if I visited that part of Scotland.

Stunning home but the views are the main attraction! Brenda helped me have the most stunning small family wedding and the photos I have are gorgeous. My family loved each of their rooms they are really modern and the beds nice and firm. Thank you Brenda!

It is a lovely home, large but cosy. Uta & Ian are super hosts, providing a wonderful breakfast spread, a living room to relax in & a lovely en suite bedroom. Its a perfect base for exploring. They are friendly & will chat & provide local information as well as give you privacy. A lovely balance. Thank you from Anna & Louise (mother & daughter).

We had such a lovely stay at Rocklee BnB! Our room was absolutely beautiful—bright, airy, and thoughtfully designed with a cozy, modern feel. The shower was amazing, especially after long days of exploring the Highlands. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat to come home to. Jo, the host, is a gem. She goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable and well taken care of. From helping us with dinner reservations to sharing tips on local things to see and do, she was incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely charming. The breakfast spread in the morning was also fantastic—fresh, delicious, and beautifully laid out. We can’t recommend this BnB enough if you’re looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay near Glencoe!

We had a great stay at Greig’s house the weather was fantastic so made use of all the outdoor facilities hot tub,sauna etc , felt as if we were abroad . Greig was very friendly and anything we needed he helped without hesitation, talked us through everything and asking if we were ok 👍🏻 thank you so much for everything 👏👏

I was happy with the price I paid. Ryan's flat was spotless, warm and had everything we needed. The view from the flat is amazing and although the weather wasnt the best while we were there, we had 2 beautiful sunsets. Ryan kept in contact prior, during and on the day we left. He was very accommodating. It's on the third floor but definitely worth the view in my opinion. The flat is right on the outskirts of the town but walkable in 15-20 minutes or no problem to park nearer when needed.

Host was so sweet when Airbnb canceled our original reservation only a few days before visit. Host got us into one of his other properties which was smaller but provided us an additional rollaway bed so all could sleep well (which he didn’t have to do at all ❤️ since cancelation was not his fault). He also provided our teen extra snacks to make up for having to sleep in living room. Very very thoughtful.

Conveniently situated for Largs sea front, restaurants, shops and the ferry to Cumbrae, 5 min walk to centre. Plenty of street parking available, always spaces available. Comfortable apartment with a super shower, plenty of hot water. Great place to stay for a few days. Would recommend getting the ferry from Wymess Bay to the Isle of Bute, the west side of the isle is quiet and beautiful and well worth exploring.

Grant is very nice and the house is also very cozy and functional. The TV is big! The bathroom decorations are cute too. Close to the Loch Lomond and Grant also recommended us some spots near the lake. We spent very good time there! Recommend to couples or friends.

Could have been cleaner but was okay for what we needed, good communication and good host

We had a fantastic stay at Emma and Steven's apartment. It was spotless, cosy and fully equipped for a relaxing break. We really liked the location, with great walks nearby and Oban just a short drive away. Be sure to visit the newly reopened Taynuilt Inn at the end of the road - a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

Beautiful location, clean flat, comfy beds and a very helpful host. Would highly recommend Jeanette’s place!

Clean and basic apartment for two people. Comfortable bed. Parking available nearby on private premises. Stunning view. Kitchen with all the essentials for preparing simple meals. Breakfast included cartons of yoghurt/milk, cereals, a carton of orange juice, a small fruit bowl, and two croissants with butter and jam. We didn’t see Laura in person, but she communicated adequately.

Lovely welcome and fabulous place and facilities with excellent location. Highly recommend.

Maolbhuidhe is the perfect place to relax and unwind after long days of exploring Mull. Linda and Tim give you complete privacy downstairs, but are available if you have any needs! We slept so peacefully and looked forward to the long, hot shower and delicious breakfast made to order. Linda was so gracious and we enjoyed our morning chats with her. She made great recommendations for our dining choices and always had the contact information handy. If you like a comfortable bed, hot shower, amazing Scottish breakfast and a family of ducks outside your window to greet you in the morning, this is the place for you!

I had a great stay with Pat and Allan. The bed was so comfy, the shower was great and the breakfast was delicious. They are both so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend and will stay again if I'm back in Helensburgh.

Ended up arriving later then anticipated, great communication everything was perfect for when we got there. The room and bathroom were immaculate with gorgeous welcoming communal lounge warm and comfortable with access to everything we needed. Breakfast was sublime including the continental Buffett very high quality produce hosts very welcoming and attentive. This please represents excellent value for money, couldn’t fault anything about this place.

This was a simply fabulous stay, if i could have awarded six stars i would have. The location is perfect, affording a water view from the bedroom and breakfast area. The room has all you need, and is spotlessly clean. Jennifer is an amazing host and communication from great from the moment of booking. And the breakfast provided was the perfect start to the day. Honestly, stay here!!

Katja is a truly wonderful and welcoming host! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The place is peaceful, clean, and perfectly located for exploring the Isle of Mull. We especially loved the delicious coffee (and lots of it! ☕️), homemade jams, fresh bread, and wild honey – such a lovely touch! It was quiet, relaxing, and just what we needed.
