The Sailean Bothy, Island of Lismore

Cozy, rustic, off-grid, renovated bothy! A one-of-a-kind glamping experience in a stunning island setting right next to the sea Come and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and get back to nature. We provide 4 mattresses and 2 wood stoves, cooking utensils, pots and pans, a basket of wood, a composting toilet, solar lighting and bottled water. If you book the bothy, it's all yours. Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
