Lagavulin Hall

Lagavulin Hall is a 120 year old converted church in an attractive sheltered position, in its own garden, with views across Surnaig Bay to the ruins of Dunyveg Castle. The holiday let conversion has been done with a great deal of care and attention to the original features and external appearance of the building and has maintained the sense of space and light in the interior. The interior is grand and simple and furnished with many interesting pieces, as well as plain comfortable sofas.

Built by a Glaswegian surgeon, lived in by Famous Artist Barclay Henry, Lady Colquhoun & once owned by British Admiralty during both World Wars. Large family & dining, full-stocked kitchen, 5 en-suite rooms, 6 bathrooms, 1 super king, 4 kings, 3 single & 1 double sleep sofa & baby cot. Dining area has coffee maker, hot water tap, microwave, toaster & cereal. Nice outdoor seating, parking, high-speed WiFi & Pet-friendly!

Situated at the end of the road, the house has no passing traffic but is only a few minutes walk to the harbour and other amenities in the village. Otters, seals, dolphins and all manner of birdlife can be regularly seen from the house. Beaches and walks on the doorstep. Golf (9 hole) and fishing are both possible in the village. After a dip or a snorkel rinse off using the warm outdoor shower.
