Yuri is the name of the house that has been passed down from generation to generation in our family. Enjoy a relaxing Japanese trip with just your family and friends, without having to worry about other groups, rather than just a guest house. This inn is very popular with those who are interested in traditional Japanese culture and anime lovers such as Demon Slayer and Naruto. It is an old private house, but it has been completely renovated to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. It can be used for a wide range of stays for families and groups of 1 to 10 people. Limited to one group per day, Guest House Agai is convenient for walking the Kumano Kodo and playing in the river. You can experience country life.

Guest House Agae is a renovated traditional house that can only accommodate one group at a time. It is in a very convenient location, about 550 m (about 7 minutes on foot) to Kumano Kodo and Kinkou Oji, a supermarket (A-COOP), a bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu), and restaurants (Shoji Teahouse and Tororo-ya). The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so we will do our best to accommodate your questions and advice about walking the Kumano Kodo, as well as pick-up and drop-off when you need it. We can also provide personal guides, so please let us know. Prices do not include meals. This is a guest house in Kainan City, about a 5-minute walk from JR Kainan Station and about a 10-minute drive from Wakayama Marina City. It is located directly above a retro coffee shop and is a guest house where you can read books. Kainan City is the entrance to the Kumano Kodo, and you can actually walk the Kumano Kodo. Please try walking the Kumano Kodo with this guest house as your base. Also, our guest house is [free for bed-sharing]. Please note that small children are not counted in the number of guests. Nishimura-tei Hanare - 100-year-old old house with a kitchen & dining room

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

This house was built 120 years ago and stayed by a lot of people who have plan to go to Koya-san. The house is in front of the river and you can take a look. It will make relaxed. We can do tea ceremony, if you want. We have 2 toilet and 1 bath room with big bath tab made by a Japanese special wood, Hinoki. There is a 24h super market, Okuwa near the house.(5 min away by a car) And high rank Japanese beef restaurant(2 min by a car) You can enjoy Yakiniku.

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)

In June you can watch ire flies. All the rooms are made by Japanese special wood , Hinoki and sugi. The smell is amazing. This area is really tranquil and you will be able to make relaxed. And easy to get to Koya-san (40 min by a car)
