Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Arouca

Мы провели в этом доме несколько замечательных дней и остались в полном восторге! Дом очень чистый, ухоженный и уютный, видно, что за ним действительно заботятся. Всё продумано до мелочей — в доме было много полезных вещей, которые делали жизнь комфортнее и удобнее. Отдельное удовольствие — это просторная терраса с потрясающим видом. По утрам мы завтракали на свежем воздухе, наслаждаясь тишиной и красотой вокруг. Всё вокруг было очень тихо и спокойно — идеальное место, чтобы отдохнуть от городской суеты. Хозяева — отдельная благодарность! Очень доброжелательные, внимательные и всегда готовы помочь. С ними было легко и приятно общаться. Этот дом стал для нас настоящим уютным уголком, и мы с радостью вернёмся сюда снова!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour, encore un grand merci à Jorge. Tout était parfait, un havre de paix. Nous voulions des vacances reposantes et c’est exactement ce que propose cette maison. Les chevaux sont un vrai plus, c’était un plaisir d’aller les voir tous les jours. Le cadre est magnifique et la maison est très bien équipée, nous n’avons manqué de rien. Nous reviendrons dès que nous le pouvons !

Maria and her husband's home is a wonderful retreat and oasis directly on the river beds. Maria treated us like family and went above and beyond an Airbnb experience. She welcomed us with open arms, spend a lot of time explaining all the options we have here, for us to choose from, invited us in her own kitchen to prepare pizza dough, showed us how to make pizza in her stone oven, provided us with home produced wine and friends wine, let us use their kayaks and stand up paddle boards. We were able to check in earlier and stay longer and she even bought us lunch that we could eat prior to our departure. Maria is such a warm, generous person and is trying to provide you with the best time in her home. We are so grateful for all you did for all of us individually and as a group. We can not wait to come back one day and the experience and memories will stay with us forever.

Simplesmente fantástico! Tivemos uma estadia incrível na casa do Rui e da Marisa. Tudo estava impecavelmente limpo, bem cuidado e com uma decoração cheia de bom gosto e atenção aos detalhes. Sentimo-nos em casa desde o primeiro momento. Adorámos o jacuzzi e, claro, o espaço da fogueira, que tornou as noites ainda mais especiais. Foi tudo pensado para proporcionar conforto e momentos memoráveis. Nota-se o carinho com que tudo foi preparado! Recomendamos a 100% e esperamos voltar no futuro. Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

Fui muito bem recebido pela Marta, que me mostrou a casa e deixou alimentos para o meu primeiro pequeno almoço, entre os quais doce caseiro e fruta do pomar. A localização da Casa da Eira é fantástica, com vistas belíssimas sobre a baía do rio Douro um grande pátio com a mesma vista e mesmo ao lado a piscina. A piscina infinita é deslumbrante com vista para o rio e de grande tamanho. Toda a propriedade está muito bem cuidada com jardins e plantações de árvores de fruto; o tamanho da propriedade proporciona passeios a pé e recantos para descansar sem sair do local. A casa em si tem todas as comodidades e é muito confortável, com uma varanda coberta que proporciona a sensação de se estar numa casa de árvore. A amabilidade da Marta (que até me ofereceu ameixas da produção da quinta) , a localização e as comodidades, fazem deste alojamento um retiro ideal para verdadeiro descanso, quer se vá sozinho ou em família. Voltarei.

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

On our trip to Portugal, the Douro Valley was the highlight of the trip from the storybook views to the spread of freshly picked cherries, homemade preserves and wine awaiting our arrival to the cleanliness and comforts of a beautiful home perched high up on the vineyard terraced hills. The game room was an incredible surprise - there are seven eighties arcade games along with a ping pong table, a foosball table and an infinity game with over 150 board games built into the table. The hospitality was second to none. Gabrella, the property manager, was one step ahead of us ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stays one of the most memorable. Sephi, the owner, is one of the most generous people we have ever met. His passion for region and willingness to offer his time to you is amazing. We spent one morning touring his winery, learning the old way of making wine and enjoying the fruits of his labor – an extraordinary experience not a just another Air BnB.

What can I say - from start to finish we had a great time at Aqua Villa Madalena. Our purpose for coming here was to attend Rally Portugal. The apartment was central to where we needed to go to see the stages of the Rally. Apart from this, the apartment was exceptional - so clean. Sonia as a host was so responsive and always available when needed ( which I hope wasn't too often for her!) Our children really enjoyed the pool, the place was so peaceful and quiet! An all-round fantastic holiday! Thank you so much Sonia and family!!! Hopefully we will visit again another time!

A true Gem in Porto! Staying at Sonia’s villa in Porto was hands down one of the biggest highlights of my entire trip to Portugal. While I enjoyed many places across the country, Porto truly stood out – and a big part of that was because of this incredible stay. Honestly, I found Porto to be even more charming and enjoyable than Lisbon – cleaner, cozier, and far more relaxed. The villa itself felt like a true home away from home – spotless, thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed even a nice pool, a beautiful view on sunrises and sets and incredibly comfortable. You can tell Sonia genuinely cares about her guests’ experience. Sonia was an exceptional host – always available, super friendly, and incredibly fast with her responses. She gave me fantastic recommendations that made exploring the city even more memorable. I’m already planning to return to Porto, and without a doubt, I’ll be booking with Sonia again. If you’re visiting Porto, this is the place to stay – no question

Rui muitíssimo atencioso, a casa é incrível… tudo muito organizado e limpo, vejo o cuidado e amor em cada cantinho de sua casa! Me senti em casa… A energia do local é espetacular. Eu adorei!

Somos uma familia com 2 crianças e adorámos o espaço, quer o interior, que se encontrava extremamente arrumado, limpo e cuidado, como o exterior, onde além da piscina com cores agradáveis, tem um imenso jardim, espaço infantil, espaço de convívio para jogos e barbecue. Amei a máquina antiga com todos os jogos dos anos 80 e 90 completamente gratuito, bem como o projetor ligado à conta TV e Net que pudemos usar para passar filmes. Obrigado pela excelente estadia.

This home is a gem! We love it! It is so spacious with 4 bedrooms and a huge terrace the size of a one bedroom apartment. The view through the huge windows overlooking the neighbourhood and forest is so beautiful and relaxing. However, you must have a car to go about as not much is walking distance (also no side walks). The place is quiet but not too quiet. The road at the front gets quite busy sometimes but the noise is not disruptive at all. The huge table in the living room was perfect for working remotely. The white lighting in the house is great for working. There's also a lot of sunlight as there are sliding doors in every room. It can get cold sometimes but the house is not humid at all, and the AC heating heats up the house easily. Shower is great. Spacious bathrooms. The kitchen is huge with everything we need for cooking. We're also really grateful to have a dishwasher! Diana is very friendly and helpful when we have questions. We highly recommend this place and the host! :)

Super Unterkunft mit guter Lage. Man ist schnell in der Innenstadt. Die Wohnung ist sauber und ordentlich und hat alles was man braucht. Gerne wieder! :)

Adorei a minha estadia! O checkin foi muito flexível e extremamente fácil. Muito boa organização para conseguirmos estar mais descansados em relação ao horário da entrada. A casa é incrível, facilmente senti que adorava morar ali. O lugar é super tranquilo e sossegado e permite relaxar e aproveitar o descanso. A D. Maria Luísa foi muito mas muito querida. Enviou prontamente todas as instruções e sempre respondeu a todas as questões. Sempre teve uma palavra de apreço em cada mensagem. Sem dúvida um lugar que recomendo!

the house is private with amazing views, miguel and his cousin were both very friendly and even offered a late checkout. even with cloudy weather the pool stayed warm enough to enjoy.

It was a fantastic stay. I was very surprised. The photos are good, but the place still surprises you in a very good way.
