Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Årstad

We had a great holiday staying at Katerina's apartment. lovely walks nearby, good bus links into Bergen and supermarkets nearby. both Katarina and Jarle were great sources of information and very attentive. Thank you.

There are so many wonderful things to say about this very special place. The house is magical! It is far more beautiful and charming in real life. There were so many different places to go, to be together, or to be separate, to chat, or to read or work. The furnishings are lovely and comfortable. And the art selection is fantastic. It was warm and sunny, and when it rained, we could hear the rain on the roof. The place was very quiet and the location is perfect to do all the things anyone would want to do in Bergen. And an outstanding kitchen! Sharp knives are rare in these places and we loved the ones here. Ingvild was a lovely and generous hostess. We look forward to returning, and to spend much more time here.

Lasse and his family were extremely welcoming. The property was spacious, airy and extremely clean and exceeded expectations. Loved the underfloor heating in the bathrooms and enjoyed stunning views and use of the jetty. Just wish we were better kayakers!

the house is really very beautiful and well thought out. It has everything you need and even more. The terrace is lovely too. Everything was perfect and the accommodation is 15 minutes from the airport! Communication with the host went very well too.

Had a great stay in the apartment. Location is as good as it gets. We walked to everything. The apartment is spacious and felt very clean. All the conveniences you can ask for is in the place. We didn't lack for anything. I would gladly return.

We appreciate all the details Julia put in to make her apartment so comfortable, like electric outlet adapter for foreigners, microwave oven, quality appliances. The bathroom is large with a good shower and a sitting bench. Dedicated parking near the front door. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Quick & easy communication. Good value. Highly recommend.

This location is in the middle of great restaurants and bars but far enough out to be quiet and good nights sleep. Host is very descriptive in her directions and super responsive. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay again if back in Bergen.

Highly recommend this spot in Bergen! We would absolutely stay here again. Very friendly, helpful hosts and flexible check in. Comfortable beds, plenty of space, stocked kitchen, laundry machine, and a STUNNING view. Easily accessible to downtown Bergen and to walk everywhere. The area is peaceful and lovely, with friendly and welcoming neighbors. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave today ! It was hard to say goodbye to such a beautiful place. Loved how quiet the location is and the hiking trail behind the house was wonderful!! The family felt right at home. Communication with the host was easy and reliable, and the accommodations were fantastic. You can easily get an Uber or taxi into town, and the wait was always less than 10 minutes. We can’t speak highly enough about the house, room, views, and the host. We look forward to coming back someday. 🤩

We had a fantastic stay in Ivar’s home! A lovely home with spectacular views across the lake. There is a regular bus into Bergen and lots to do in this beautiful city.

The location is excellent: the house is away from the tourist routes, yet the center and station are only a 15-minute walk away. The house is perfect for traveling with a large family or two families with children. It features lower and upper floors with bedrooms and bathrooms. Between these floors, there is a common area with a very well-equipped kitchen and a living room. It is spacious, cozy, and comfortable, accommodating both a large group at the table and someone alone on the sofa under a blanket. The terrace, complete with a grill and a water view, deserves special mention. We were fortunate with the weather and spent many wonderful hours there, admiring the view and watching our happy children jump on the trampoline. Additionally, the hosts provided detailed house rules, including valuable advice about places to go such as supermarkets, restaurants, and more.

This is one of the best places I have seen in my life. It’s even better than the pictures, the view… the coziness of the place and the area.. the house is 20 mins away from the centre by car, so not far but far enough to feel the tranquility of the area. Janne is super responsive and sweet, we loved every minute there. It’s perfect for either a family with kids or a group of friends with kids or even a couple that wants to reconnect, I can’t recommend it enough. Janne was so sweet and left us evth we could need, dishwasher tablets, coffee capsules, she even offered us a welcome gift (Norwegian salmon and an amazing juice that we got literally addicted to). I can’t thank Janne enough for having us over, definitely recommend
