We spent a wonderful holiday in nature. Hiking, fishing and exploring the surroundings. The contact with the hosts was friendly, courteous and fast, questions were answered comprehensively and tips were given. The old farm is located in a fantastic natural setting. You can tell that the hosts also use the house themselves occasionally. We enjoyed it very much, thank you!

Way better than we ever could have imagined! We had the most beautiful honeymoon here and would go back in a heart beat. Very private and a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Knut has thought of everything you could need and is very helpful. He even left us a lovely honeymoon hamper when we arrived which was so kind. This really is a one off location unlike any other!

We just landed back in UK after a fantastic stay in beautiful post card picture log cabin,loads of space and very warm and homely. steep drive to cabin in icing weather but roads are cleared.foind it ok We drove to hovden and did skiing for 3 days around 1 Hr drive but broke on your doorstep but was only open on sat, Sunday, Thursday and we arrived Friday.

Amazing place to stay! Lovely views thru the windows, loved the fire place in the living room! Very spacious house, enough space for a bigger group of people. Loved it!

Beautiful house - was what we expected from the pictures. Scenery was unbelievable, it was quiet and private. Really wish the hot water had been working in the kitchen sink and outdoor shower. Also wish the hot tub wasn't an extra cost to use -- it should just be part of the overall price as it's one of the main draws and features in the rental description. Overall amazing, would stay again, but for the price, would want the hot water working.

We had the most wonderful week with children, grandchildren and mother-in-law in this absolutely unique and for an architect's exciting house - an original Norwegian log cabin with super comfortable furniture, beds and well equipped with all kitchen equipment, firewood, games, TV and internet. The cabin was secluded a little by itself overlooking the beautiful Brokke mountain and over the cabin area, which we enjoyed from the porch around the fire pit, We could walk/stand skiing to the ski place, which also meets all our needs. We give the cabin, Bente and Tor-Olav our best recommendations and would like to come again - not least to also experience the place in the summer. Only downside was that we had to wear snow chains 500 meters before the cabin. We were not prepared for the driveway to be so steep. We later found that it is easier to drive a little further on the big road, and first drive into the cabin area from the driveway just across from Brokke-Alpincenter. In the cabin, there is gravel to spread out, but we only found out later. Thank you very much for the loan: -)

We had a lovely stay at Jarle’s cabin, beautiful views and great location to the skiing resorts and shops. Very easy and helpful communication, everything went very smoothly. Jarle had kindly visited the property the previous day to make clear of the snow around the property as there had been a lot of snow in previous days. It has been mentioned in previous reviews which I would confirm, there is a steep incline to the cabin and with the additional hindrance of lots of snow would not make this possible for people with an elderly or limited disposition. But we’ve had a great stay and I would strongly recommend this place for family and friends 👍 Thank you Jarle for the loan of your cabin.

We had a great stay in this chalet near the lake and in a peaceful environment. Line welcomed us warmly. Everything is as advertised.

We had a wonderful stay at Annika's mountain hut. It was a beautiful area and we had everything we needed on site. If we had any questions, Annika always responded promptly and had quick solutions for us. Everything was very straightforward. We highly recommend Annika as a host.

Good place for either rest after the ferry ride or to wait before the trip. The cabin is surrounded with Lovely green scenery and despite near a road, still ver calm. A nice big terrace and the cabin it self is small but very clean and functional!

We had a great weekend at the cabin. Nice and clean everywhere. Very pleased with the stay. Will be very happy to come back another time.

Wonderful host who also replied to our questions instantly, wow. The house had everything that was needed in including warm water. Great for fishing because the best fishing rivers were just 20/30 minutes away. The host was always very generous and helpful, even if we had 1000s of questions. So thank you!

Cozy cabin in a very beautiful setting. Would love to go there another time in another season. Can only recommend.

This was our second visit to Royland Gard. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature. Gunnar was a very helpful and friendly host. We would highly recommend this place.

School house was very comfortable for our family but we had a difficult time finding it. Key was right there so easy access and there was food and milk, orange juice, etc in refrigerator. A wonderful welcome. The accommodations were great, very clean and there was one and a half bathrooms which surprised us because it was listed as only one. We would definitely like to return and spend more time.

Really nice cabin right by the lake. Nice view from the terrace and living room. Completely clean. Brand new kitchen. Landlord Åse on site and shows everything. Really nice with three types of boats to sail and fish on the lake. We'd love to come again. The only small minus is the slightly close location on the road which, however, is not very busy

My family had the best time at Martin and Nina’s place. Very friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful apartment, beautiful view and close to many good adventures. This place is highly recommended and we will definitely come back another time.

Truly amazing retreat in a stunning landscape. We felt at home from the first minute and had a wonderful holiday. Dag was very helpful and taking care on the right level. Right around the hut there are plenty of possibilities for hikes and fishing. Just 1-2 hrs around the corner - some of Nowegian most munumental landscapes. It was my 20ish stay in Norway - for my family it was the first time - for sure not the last, thanks to the location and „nest“.

Friendly host, the house had everything we needed with a great view!

It is the top 1% airbnb with no doubt. I had quite a few sudden changes about the bookings and Digfinn was very responsive and very helpful for my requests. When we checked in, we were surprised and impressed because the house is very lovely, well-maintained, clean and tidy, and beautifully decorated (although the photo looks great, the actual house is even more satisfying and surprising). We enjoyed the fancy hot tub, the balcony, the garden and of course the stunning views from every window. It is a great spot to enjoy the nature of South Norway but not so far away from the downtown. This house is one of the highlights of my unforgettable Norway journey.

Can only recommend staying with Åse and Lars everything is perfect for the smallest problems, they are immediately on the track to help we have lived here for many months through my workplace, hope to come back when there is more work to do in the area. Best regards from here
