Nice spot close to town but quiet and secluded. If you are going to stay there the google maps will take you up the wrong driveway, it will be right after the speed bump heading north. She had it marked well, google is just off a few driveways.

Comfortable, warm unit. Having the restaurant on site was handy and the food was great.

We enjoyed staying here on our first visit to Timaru. Easy access to the large community park and Caroline Bay across the street. Beautiful decor and furnishings made our stay very comfortable. The windows kept things quiet and offered a terrific view of the bay. The patio was a great perk. We had a fun time on bikes on Hector’s Coastal Trail but the highlight was seeing a blue penguin at the port! Hope to come back again.

Wonderful place and close to town. Easy check in, Clayton is a fabulous host and is responsive. Very spacious living area. Highly recommend to book a stay here.

These apartments were much more than we expected! It would have to be the best place I have ever booked on AirBNB. The location is very close to the main strip. Tiff in reception is super friendly, accomodating and very helpful with recommendations of restaurants and activities. This is a terrifically run business!

It was a peaceful accommodation in Otematata. There is also a private central garden, so you can heal in the house. It was a clean accommodation with all the facilities that would be there.

We came at the winter so we had a different taste of Tekapo but would love to stay at the place back in the summer!

Right in the centre of Tekapu close to the lake, supermarket and Church.. The place was just as described by Lu. It was clean and had all the amenities listed. He is very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again given a chance and would recommend it anyone visiting Tekapu

We had a beautiful stay in Otematata, very peaceful and clean - exactly as described in the listing! Nice touches too; a selection of teas, plenty of extra blankets, and a well equipped kitchen. This place is such great value, and I’d love to come back! Thanks Robyn and Ross :)

Convenient location, flexible check in and check out time, great views from the house.

Loved our stay at Lu’s. The location is just far enough from the main town stretch to feel peaceful, but entirely walkable. Space was just right for us as a family of 4. We couldn’t figure out how to operate the heaters at first and Lu was responsive and helped diagnose.

Very nice accommodation, a short distance from the groceries Nice address for a few days of visiting the Aoraki /Mount Cook area, Tekapo Lake. Danette was constantly reachable and very responsive . We experienced a breakdown of the gas supply ( so no hot water) and Danette reacted and solved it very quickly. Thank you Yes, let's definitely recommend his place to stay Bernard & Régis

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The place itself was spacious, beautifully set up, and had all the amenities we needed — and more. It felt like a home away from home. On our first night, we experienced a snowstorm, and we were so grateful that the heating worked perfectly. A special highlight for my kids was the log burner — it was their first time seeing one, and they loved the cozy experience! Having a garage was a huge bonus — we didn’t have to worry about digging out our rental car the next morning. And the view from the balcony of the lake was stunning, especially with everything covered in snow. What made it even more special was the large open space at the back where our kids had the best time playing in the snow. It was such a joy to watch. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay — everything was perfect! Would highly recommend and would love to come back someday.

Great little studio unit that worked well for our week long snow holiday as a couple. Easy walking distance to great local restaurants and cafes. Responsive and helpful hosts. Everything was as described and we found the place to be plenty warm with good sunlight. Thank you for having us 😀

The Opuke crash pad was excellent for our purpose for visiting Methven (a visit to the pools). The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has all required appliances, and the shower is very good, and overall we enjoyed out stay.

Perfect wee place for hubby, daughter and I. Amazing view of the snowy mountains from the dining table, with a small playground & shared BBQ straight outside the sliding door. Although it was freezing when we arrived and took a while to heat up, there were heaters in all of the rooms, as well as the bathroom. There is a spa bath which we loved as we didn't get to the spa as it was always full. Super close to the main Pubs & Ōpuke so we were able to easily walk. Free parking, easy access without having to worry about a key as it was a key coded lock. We will definitely stay again if it's available.

Selwyns place was lovely and clean. Towels on the bed ready for use and the nice touch of a little crunchie choc bar each ! Had a lovely stay and would stay here again!!

We had a great overnight stay at Tracey's place, so close to the hot pools and dining options while passing through Methven. It was super tidy and I loved the bedding. The spa looked great but after doing the pools we were well cooked already! We would stay again if we are in the area

We absolutely loved our time in Tekapo at Lisa’s AirBnb! Lisa is an incredible host, provided us with so many local recommendations and got the hot tub ready for us every night, but always gave us privacy once it was ready. The hot tub was so blissful and was incredible for star gazing! We weren’t at the Airbnb much, other than for using the hot tub and sleeping so the size of it didn’t really bother us, but a heads up for others that it is quite small inside and was pretty tight for us as we both had large suitcases. I wouldn’t let the size of the Airbnb put you off though, as it’s a great Airbnb!

First time to Methven and we loved it. The apartment had everything we needed and was very cozy. Look forward to going back in the winter.
