We stayed at Takeshi’s place for 6 days during our first visit to Kyoto and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house was lovely and very clean, had a great kitchen, and we really enjoyed the outdoor garden and shower/bath. Takeshi was a very kind and responsive host and sent a great list of recommendations for the area. The neighborhood was quiet but close to transportation. The stairs are steep so keep that in mind if you have small children, but for 4 adults it was no issue at all. I highly recommend staying here during a visit to Kyoto!

What a beautiful place! Stayed only one night, unfortunately. The view, the outdoor hot tub and interiors were perfect. A great place to relax even for just one night!

I had a wonderful stay at this charming traditional-style home in Hakone. The tatami living room created such an authentic Japanese experience—peaceful, cozy, and beautifully maintained. One of the highlights was definitely the private onsen—it was clean, relaxing, and the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The amenities were all excellent and thoughtfully prepared. Everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and culturally rich stay in Hakone!

I used it as a birthday celebration with each other.I was a big fan of YouTuber, a Huajin couple, and I watched a video of them coming, and it was a place I had always dreamed of, so I was impressed when I entered the room.The view from the room was stunning, and we had a relaxing time watching the starry sky at night.Next time, I hope I can come as a couple, not as a couple (^ ^) The host is very kind, the plane landed quite late, but they were flexible, and the check-in instructions were smooth.Thank you very much.It's definitely a place to spend a luxurious time!

This place is amazing . The second time staying here and definitely recommend it . Only 15 mins drive from Patong and pretty central to whatever you want to do in Phuket .

This is a wonderful place to relax and spend quality time with friends and family. I hosted my daughter’s dedication here, and I can confidently say that the host and staff were extremely accommodating and attentive to all our needs. If you’re looking for a place to stay or hold a special gathering, I highly recommend this venue. The entire experience was smooth, welcoming, and truly memorable.

This home was beautiful. It’s rare to stay in a home that is as unique and well-designed as this one. It’s was spacious for all of our guests though still felt cozy. The design will stick with us for quite some time. Yusei was incredibly responsive with clear house instructions. Would absolutely recommend again.

Marc’s place is an absolute treasure. It is all you can ask for a wonderful holiday. Superb view, cleanliness and staff that look after the property. There is nothing bad to say about Marc’s hosting. A must stay if you are visiting phuket! A big shout out to Dennis the captain for the private boat - also a must do to look at some of phukets less touristy treasured islands

Worth every penny! Me and my family loved staying here, neat, smells good, and we loved that Ate Roanne and Kuya are always there to assist us but give us privacy. We felt safe while having fun and relaxing! Totally recommend staying here!

It is such a amazing villa- despite it is a bit rural but it doesn’t affect the stay as we could stay in the whole day and relaxing ourselves!

This place was awesome. The house has been restored to feel truly special. Everything is nice and comfortable and just felt like we had everything we needed. Thierno gave us a thorough rundown of everything we needed to know and made us feel welcome. Any follow up questions I had were quickly answered, but generally we didn't need anything because everything was already great. We had our toddler with us and while they didn't have any crib or baby chair, we found the space to be great for her nonetheless. We had 4 adults, which was comfortable, but anymore might start to feel a little cramped. The only downside to this place is that if you plan to walk back from the old town, it's about 5-10 minutes of walking uphill without much shade. This was a little rough, so we figured out it's better to just walk over to the train station and hop in a cab back up instead. Would absolutely recommend staying here and will look at other Iori locations in the future.

Our stay in Hakone was wonderful. The villa was clean, comfortable, well stocked and lovely. It made our stay wonderful. The location was easy access to all activities but very private.

We had a wonderful stay at Kalani Villas. We had the sunset villa for 2 nights and wished we booked for longer. Location was perfect. Not in the buzzing GL scene (which we prefer) and close enough if we wanted to grab something to eat (scenic 20min motor). Driving to and from was a breeze, and driving under the stars at night was a moment we’ll never forget! Villa was very well appointed, everything was where it needed to be plus more. Photos are accurate and its probably one of the best airbnbs weve stayed at. Service is above and over. Jay welcomed us to the space and gave us a tour around the villa. He was even kind enough to grab us some medicine from nearby since my husband had a bad stomach. Aileen was very easy to communicate with and was helpful in every way. We left some belongings when we transferred accomodations and they even offered to bring it to us. Excellent service. Thank you so much Kalani Villas for an unforgettable stay.

Our family created beautiful memories here—moments we’ll cherish for a long time. The host was not only highly professional but also warm and responsive, ensuring that every part of our stay felt easy and comforting. We leave feeling refreshed, inspired, and already looking forward to coming back.

If you're looking for a spacious place to hang out and relax with family and friends, the place is great. Kitchen is good, common area was great, the bedrooms were more than enough as well.
