Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Asker

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Location location location... I wanted to stay in Sandvika, because my mother lived there for 20 years, so I am very familiar with the area and it feels like home. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and feels very private, yet is centrally located, and easy to walk around the area for hiking, shopping, bus/train transfers, and easy to use trains and bus to connect to anywhere quickly. We had everything we needed, and were comfy and cozy and made ourselves at home. Very comfy beds. As described, the sleeping loft has a low ceiling. My daughter is not very tall and is young and limber, and was quite happy up there, but you probably don't want someone too tall up there. Host is very responsive and clearly communicates. They live in the house next to the rental, but we never saw them in over a week, so the rental is very private. Beautiful view of the bay and lovely sunsets from the deck.

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

We had a great stay! The house was very clean, warm, and full of natural light. It was perfect for our family and especially suitable for kids. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts were kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

The place was well decorated, modern and warm throughout. The rooms were separate, ideal for our stay and the private deck was a bonus also considering we had great weather during our stay. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of neat design features to suit the space. We felt safe and secure during our stay, and our hosts were great at responding to any questions we had. The accommodation is right in the heart of town and it was easy to reach Batterioya, Blindeskjaere, the shops, and the Ferry. All within easy walking distance. The bus stop was 2 mins away and it was easy to travel into Drammen and forward to Oslo centre. We felt as if the accommodation had recently been made ready for guests and there were a couple of possible improvements that could be added to help guests enjoy their stay. A microwave would have been a helpful addition and the small toilet needed a privacy blind on the small window. Overall we loved staying there and would not hesitate to stay again.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im Haus von Therese. Das Haus liegt in schöner Landschaft direkt am Fjord. Es war toll, an den sonnigen Wintertagen die Kite Skater auf dem zugefrorenen Fjord zu beobachten. Therese hat sich sehr freundlich um uns gekümmert und war super hilfsbereit. Man muss beachten, dass es im Haus eine sehr steile Treppe gibt. Für manche Personen könnte das ein Hindernis sein. Bei uns hat alles gut geklappt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Abends haben wir vom nahegelegenen Thai Restaurant leckeres Essen geholt. Die Bus- (Haltestelle direkt am Haus) und Zugverbindungen (von Røyken) nach Oslo sind sehr gut. Ganz besonders möchte ich mich bedanken bei Therese, die immer bemüht war, uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite zu stehen und uns sehr geholfen hat. Ich kann den Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll gestalteten, kleinen roten Haus sehr empfehlen. Es ist etwas ganz besonderes!

Landlig hus med stort og koselig uteareal. Korte avstander til kollektivtrafikk, stor og fin badestrand, fotballbaner og butikker/Holmen kjøpesenter. Vi storkoste oss i huset til Therese, og kommer veldig gjerne igjen. Therese var svært hyggelig og imøtekommende og svarte raskt på henvendelser.

Leiligheten svarte til forventningene. Rent, ryddig, godt og varmt. Sentrumsnært og rolig sted. Kan anbefales

Wir waren drei Tage mit unserem Hund in der Unterkunft und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage war super, die Aussicht klasse und es war angenehm ruhig – perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Unterkunft selbst war sauber, gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Wanderungen waren nicht weit entfernt und ideal erreichbar, was den Aufenthalt mit Hund besonders angenehm gemacht hat. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

von außen wirkt die Unterkunft auf den ersten Blick nicht so schön. aber der Eindruck täuscht. Innen ist alles schön und funktional eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Und auch der Außenbereich hinter dem Haus bei den Parkplätzen ist wirklich schön, ein schöner kleiner Garten mit Terrasse.

Hei, Veldig koselig vert. Flott sted. Alt ligger sentralt tilgjengelig. Nær butikk og kjøpesenter.

The place was great! It's just like the pictures. The neighborhood is peacefull and easy to navigate if you have Google Maps. Karoline always responded quickly to our needs. She borrowed us more kitchen utensils with a smile when we asked. We had a great stay!

Vi havde endnu engang et dejligt ophold. Virkelig flot og ren lejlighed, hvor vi altid føler os hjemme. Fleksibel vært. Dejligt og roligt område🙂

Kian ci ha dato appartamento pulito, ben arredato, con un grande bagno, direttamente sul giardino curato, in zona residenziale. L’appartamento dista solo 5 minuti a piedi dalla fermata dell’autobus, dove passano diverse linee molto spesso e fino a sera, ci vogliono circa 45 minuti per arrivare in centro. Ringrazio Kian anche per la flessibilità del check-in

Anbefales alle. En koselig, romslig leilighet med fleksibel og hyggelig vert. Morgenkaffen kan en ta i en liten sittegruppe på utsiden av huset med morgensol og utsikt over velstelt hage. Gode turmuligheter fra leiligheten.

The apartment is spacious and well equipped with everything you need. It's in a very pleasant and peaceful area, conveniently located for the train or bus to Oslo and there is private parking. Everything was as described. Communication with the host was excellent and the self check-in straightforward. I highly recommend this place.

It's stunning natural beauty and friendly people. They are helpful and welcoming making our stay enjoyable. Overall, is a beautiful destination with friendly people, making it a great place to stay and explore. We would definitely come back and stay here again!

Really friendly communicator and the apartment was just as described- the balcony was a real asset to the property - nicely situated with gorgeous views and within easy reach of the city - easy to get and return keys and info in apartment was very useful

Morten and Patrick are excellent hosts! Our stay was wonderful - the space is so thoughtfully and seamlessly put together and has such spectacular views no matter what time of day. Not to mention, it was so cozy! We didn’t want to leave the comfy bed our last morning. Walking into Oslo’s city center took about 15 minutes so we never felt the need to get on public transit, but there were stops close by. Would definitely recommend a taxi/rideshare from the airport though if you have large luggage since it’s up quite a large hill.

Ann-Marie is a welcoming and thoughtful host. She provided us with detailed information about which bus to catch and she even picked us up from the bus stop and gave us a tour of the area. We arrived late evening on a Sunday and Ann-Britt drove us to the shop to buy groceries. The apartment is absolutely beautiful. It is equipped with everything you need and it feels cosy and welcoming as well as luxurious. Ann-Marie took time to explain where everything was and answer any questions about the apartment and places to visit. Sitting on the beautiful balcony amongst the plants, enjoying the sunshine, birdsong and fresh coffee was a wonderful start to the morning. We stayed up until the early hours every night to enjoy the view from the picture window. Ann-Britt thoughtfully provided robes, towels and swim shoes for guests to use so we were able to enjoy refreshing swims 5 minutes walk from the flat. I would absolutely recommend. A wonderful host.
