Cabin holiday rentals in Astoria

The cottage and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and private and love the river view while relaxing in hot tub. Hosts were very responsive, helpful and so easy to communicate. It was overall an effortless stay, exactly what is needed to unwind.

Let me start of by saying this was the PERFECT get away for me and my husband who both work demanding jobs and long hours! The river was so nice and peaceful and the hot tub was relaxing and clean which is sometimes hard to trust when renting an air bnb. Annie is a co-host on site and she was there to help with check in by showing us around and was there when we needed things. The only thing I will say is there is current home construction on the owner Pete’s house so there is a bit of noise through the day but it did not bother us at all !!! When you walk outside you may find Pete working around his yard or in his garage, Pete is the cutest old man ever he is super respectful of his guests being in his space and will check to see if he is a bother or is being too loud 🥹 10/10 recommend this place if your looking for a relaxing getaway by the river ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Such a lovely and relaxing spot! Enjoyed hot tub soaking while watching ducks float down the creek, reading by a crackling fire every evening, and restful sleep on the huge comfy bed :)

Wonderful place on the river! Peaceful and fun to be on the river and watch birds, seals and other wildlife. It is close to a great breakfast/lunch place, fresh fish house, library and market - all across the street! We kayaked right from the house which has its own dock!

If I could give them 10 stars I would!! The house just felt like a home. It was beautiful. The views were phenomenal and everything was pristine. We loved the quick little walk from the house to the market to the beach! It was the perfect getaway spot! The beds are beyond comfy! And all the white linens felt clean and sophisticated! Many events can be held here! We loved the baby gate towards the loft since the steps are a little steeper than average stairs but not super hard to go up. The hot tub was a great add-on for just soaking our worries away. This place has been a very memorable experience for our family and we hope many others will have the chance to enjoy the wonderful amenities here!! Thank you again!! We will miss this house and your extremely kind hospitality!

This was the best airbnb we've stayed at! Super peaceful, private, and renovated modern touches in an older A-frame cabin. Made great memories with family. Loved how kid-friendly it is and the hot tub!

This cabin is wonderful. Luckily, most of the flowers were blooming in the amazing garden, and it was still the right time of year to use the fire pit!

This is great place to stay if you are visiting Pacific City. Highly recommend! It’s a 5min walk to the beach, Pelican Pub & Brewery, coffee shop, grocery store and other restaurants. 2 min drive to other stores or restaurants around the area. The house is very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The hot tub was great! Very quiet and peaceful place. Communication with Carol was also very quick. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Loved the stay at the cabin!! It was spacious, had great wifi, the sound of the running creek was very relaxing. We had a little fire down at the creek one evening in their fire pit, it was bliss. Highly recommend, it is a good base camp to explore Lincoln city or go to the casino. Will definately be back

This retreat was a great mid-way point to explore the surrounding areas! It was clean, quiet, and the beds are extremely comfortable! The kids loved the sand toys and corn hole set. The hose outside was perfect for rinsing off the sand from a beach day and the deck was a great place to relax. It was well stocked with towels and the shower was wonderful! Definitely would stay here again.

My wife and I were able to spend 4 days at John's cabin in Arch Cape. As Oregonians, we were familiar with the region, but John provided extra information and suggestions that someone from out-of-town would appreciate. As it turned out, we met John as he was leaving the premises when we checked in, but he had done such a thorough job of writing down in his communications to us and also by phone before our arrival that we felt very well informed about this special cabin with the charms of yesteryear. This is definitely not a typical Airbnb, but we didn't mind the minor extra step of bringing our own linen while we very much enjoyed the reasonable rental price. The fireplace is great and there is plenty of dried woos available. We weren't bothered by having no TV and no internet since we enjoyed the opportunity to unplug for several days and relax in nature at the beach. If you go, be sure to watch the sunsets. They were spectacular. We plan in coming back next year.

Can’t beat waking up to the sound of the river in the backyard. Green, quiet, beautiful. Unique place that has all you need. Beautiful break we needed from “real life”.

Second time staying at this house and we just love it! So easy to walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The house is set up with such a great amount of space to spend time together or take time to yourself.

The storm watch cabin is a comfy spot to just sit and enjoy the views, we arrived on not the best of days for weather and had quite a bit of overcast. But were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the beach from the front porch, and deer that were roaming the area. The cabin is quiet and provides a nice relaxing area after a busy day in town or on the beach. It obtains all the necessities to feel comfortable and relaxed as you are enjoying a vacation or simply taking a break from the craziness of day to day.

Thea's spot was incredible! The little amenities she had were great - we made a delicious clam seafood dinner and had all the kitchen equipment we needed. Small details from the shampoo and conditioner quality were great, and the views are so gorgeous. Really makes you feel like you're outside the whole time but very cozy and comfy. Great getaway weekend for the gals, loved going to the South Loop trail and hanging out on the beach, going to the Schooner for dinner's, etc. Awesome trip.

Caleb and Keely’s place is such a well kept secret! This beautiful little cabin was the perfect place to stay. I stayed here for a week for a work trip and was pleasantly surprised by all the amenities and comforts offered. It’s unassuming from the outside, and so beautiful on the inside. I enjoyed any free time walking the trails established on the property and watching the deer come and go through the yard. Every night I was lulled to sleep by the frogs croaking in the nearby pond. This Airbnb is additionally so much closer to the coast than I thought, I made a few trips to Lincoln City while I was here and used my day off to go to Hug point and Tillamook. Caleb and Keely were such kind and responsive hosts. I appreciated all their details for check in and their quick response time. They also made our check-in/ out time flexible! There is clearly so much love and care poured into this house and property, I highly recommend staying here and I can’t wait to stay here again sometime!

Mary's little bungalow is great! kind of a den atmosphere. warning: low ceilings. I am 6'4", and thats to tall for this place. very comforable if your 5'8" or so. She rents the place next door as well, so she worked with me and I swapped over there so I didn't hit my head on the ceiling. beautiful view from the deck next door. very reasonable host. that house next door is the one her husband grew up in, so it's older and sentimental. be respectful and you'll have a great time.

Beautiful, peaceful retreat. Lots of birds and a mama deer. Comfy beds, great kitchen space. All-around great space and stay. We came for the Astoria Goonies 40th Anniversary weekend and loved being a short drive from Astoria and getting away from the crowd and being able to relax and have everything we needed right there - including restaurants and market within walking distance. We will be staying here again!

We enjoyed quick access to the beach and a tranquil retreat at Marie’s place! The fireplace was lovely, felt very cozy! The beds were comfy!easy 15 min walk or 5 min bike ride to town. The e-bike was a crowd pleaser. There was 2 for use in description, but only 1 was there. Luckily, we brought our own bikes as well! I would recommend

Better than I dreamed of! This place is a camper & dog owner paradise! Scott is communicative and welcoming; showed us around the property & introduced our dogs to Nico and they had such a good time running around the property together, my dogs didn't want to leave! If you have a pooch and enjoy peaceful outdoor surroundings, Scott's place will not disappoint!

What a cool experience in this solar powered cabin. It is super cute and comfortable. The hosts are very responsive and very welcoming. My kids loved exploring the property and are already asking when we can go back.
