If you prefer, partake of a glass of wine while enjoying the surrounding nature and the fabulous views from the large upper-deck. It’s a sensation of being on top of the world! Great for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Has table and chairs. Most of the time we are around the property. We are always open to sharing a glass of wine but also want to be courteous and respect your privacy and will never intrude on your stay. If needing laundry service or suggestions of wineries or restaurants we are here to help. Watch local wildlife including deer, wild turkeys, quail, foxes, and squirrels. Despite its beautiful countryside setting in the west hills of Atascadero, the suite is conveniently located close to downtown, wineries, and the coast. Uber is a great way to get around. There are many local winery and brewery tours available by local providers. There are two outdoor cats that wander the 3 acre property. In respect to other guest who might have allergies please don't let them in the suite. They are friendly and like attention. There is a bench by the suite entrance that they like to sit on and say hello. We have one indoor cat and one indoor dog in the main house. Note the suite is disconnected from the main house. Occasionally they wander the deck when having a glass of wine. They are super friendly and sweet. Location: Our suite is centrally located between the coast and the North County wineries. Located off the 41, across the street from Atascadero Zoo and also right off highway 101. Additionally, there are many great restaurants, movies, parks and coffee shops near to enjoy. It is a short distance to the beautiful central coast line where you can enjoy kayaking, boating and shopping. Cal Poly is a 15 minute drive.

Atascadero Guesthouse Central Coast Wine Country

This light and airy hideaway was designed and built by the host incorporating her own handiwork in art and furnishings. Initially a granny flat, it's been transformed into a comfortable and spacious hang out. Its central location makes it ideal to explore the area. There is plenty to do on site; barbecue, play corn hole or horseshoes have fun with games and cards kept in the hall, enjoy the pool and hot tub in the warm season. May to Sept. The twin beds can be easily configured to a king bed. Price includes a 13% local occupancy tax. Your cottage opens up to the pool area which maybe available during the summer months but not guaranteed as this pool is too deep for kids to stand in. There is also a hot tub open from March to Dec. So the key to open the pool is subject to conversation. The pool is shared with us. No parties please. This is a non smoking property. We love dogs but we can not allow pets brought in. We have a large dog and cats. We kindly ask for slow driving up and down driveway as the animals are slow to move as they own the space. These are accommodations you wont find at a hotel. We are not one, this is our home we are opening to share with you. We are next door most times if you have any questions otherwise we will respect your privacy. The guest house sits on three acres with the main house where the host lives with her husband. It is just one and a half miles to the freeway and town. Four minutes to restaurants and grocery stores. There are chickens, 2 baby gosts, and a rabbit on the property along with cats and a large dog, Jules, who is sure to greet you. The pool will be opened to guests that can swim only as the shallow end is quite deep. Opened when the temperature increases in the summer months. A cold pool is no fun to swim in. The hot tub is open in March to Dec. Contact hosts if plan to use.
