A modern daylight bathroom with walk-in shower blends into the old building with industrial elegance. A cozy seating area with a mid-century couch and armchairs invites you to linger and read. The spacious double bed offers enough space for 2 people to sleep in. An expansive mural by British-Swiss artist Clare Kenny gives the room an additional individual touch. The listed house from 1730 is located at the foot of the holy mountain of Upper Swabia – the Bussen – and directly on the hiking trail, not far from the Danube Cycle Path on the edge of the Swabian Alps. During the careful restoration using ecological and sustainable materials, many details such as sloping floors, partially low room heights and a steep staircase were preserved. So you can go back in time and still enjoy the modern comforts of the present.
