Villa holiday rentals in Avarua

Unless seeking luxury I don’t know why one might ever need more than this. Lagoon runs right to the deck but for a ribbon of white sand. Turtles and fish and clear water make for beautiful swimming and snorkeling in front of the house. Almost everything we loved that wasn’t at the location itself was close by. Friendly and relaxed hosts. A beautiful week. Will return.

We had the most wonderful time at Jacinda & Franz’s heavenly Air BnB in gorgeous Arorangi Beach. It was the absolutely perfect getaway for us and our 8 year old daughter. Comfortable, clean, and spacious accommodation with a private pool in the most beautiful spot, with the loveliest of hosts. Too many highlights to list, but watching the sun rise over the mountains from the deck as we ate our breakfast, and watching it set in the evenings while taking a dip in the sea on the private beach - alongside beautiful doggies Poppy and Caesar, were unforgettable. Thank you so much for making our holiday so memorable and perfect. We’re already planning our return trip!

A beautiful home in paradise! Having this stunning accomodation to base ourselves as we explored and enjoyed the island was perfect. The house was air conditioned luxury, modern and beautifully decorated - we had everything we needed and more. Starlink wifi kept us well connected, the swimming pool was perfect and the bbq on the deck gave us a nice option for dining at home. Evie was an absolute star when we were organizing our visit. She offered early check in and late check out options to work in with our flights, and shared detailed information about the accomodation so we felt well prepared before we got there. We feel so lucky to have had this time at Te Aro Villa 2. To Evie and family - Meitaki Mata! We loved calling your place our home for 9 days 🌺

The Villa was large, spacious, clean, and private. Overall, we were pleased that we booked it! Everything worked perfectly and the deck area was the highlight for us. We spent as much time as we could outdoors. Yes, there are roosters outside but they really weren’t that bad. Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to ‘island’ noise. The rooms were comfy with lots of towels and bedding supplied. There is a washer but no dryer (line dry). The only suggestion I have already made was to have manuals or instructions about how to use the stove (turn the switch on at the wall first), and the washing machine. We are American so we are not familiar with the symbols on the microwave or washing machine detergent compartment. Haha. We kept bothering them with questions and photos but they were very reaponsive. We would stay there again and highly recommend their Villa to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway that is still close to many amenities and the beach.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless, well-equipped with everything from towels to linen, and had a great space to unwind and watch TV (WiFi was great!). The location was unbeatable—walk straight from the deck to the beach for kayaking or spotting incredible fish in the water just out in front of the property. You're a short stroll from the local night markets for dinners (4 nights a week!) or some fantastic restaurants. Shona and Paul were the perfect hosts—friendly and welcoming, but gave us plenty of space, checking in just enough to offer help or tips. A newly added spa (not listed when we booked) was a huge bonus—we spent hours soaking after kayaking or when the weather turned. Kayaks are provided too! Bonus tip: chat to Paul about his legendary hot sauce… we may have purchased a few bottles :) If we’re back in Raro, we’ll definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved our stay at Muri Beach Resort. Great location, the rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We especially loved the breakfast at Nautilus in the morning. We would definitely stay here again.

Exquisite! We had an absolutely wonderful time in this property. The property is luxurious and comfortable with ample space for relaxation and socializing. The seaside location is beautiful, providing stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. Marie was great! Efficient communication ensuring a hassle-free booking experience. Great place to stay. Close enough to everything but private and spacious. Super comfy beds and great shower. Really relaxing place to stay. Totally recommend.

We had the most amazing stay at Casa Del Sol. From the wonderful warm welcome from Joy and Arjay, who helped us in with luggage and showed us around the amazing villa's. The wonderful hosts and staff made our stay so amazing. The villa's are so private, calm and peaceful - it is a little slice of paradise on a magic island. The villa's are so well equipped, clean, and nestled in magic gardens. Nothing was a bother from the hosts - they gave us amazing notes about everything you could think of - including where to buy birthday cakes, where to dine and activities on the Island. We had an incredible stay at Casa Del Sol and hope that one day we will get to return. Thank you all for making our family holiday so special.

Greg's house is a great base to explore Rarotonga. It's comfortable, stylish and is right on the oceanfront. The location is not somewhere you can swim safely, although rockpools are interesting at low tide. The house has a lovely lap pool which is perfect for hot days and morning exercise. The roar of the waves is a constant backdrop, reminding you that you're in South Pacific paradise. The house is best suited to 2 couples with two large bedrooms, I feel, although our youngest son (18) was quite happy out in thel studio, but it is basic. We travelled with our two sons, and the flexibility that the house offered, rather than booking 2 rooms in a resort, was fantastic. Sitting on the deck at sunset, G & T in hand, was a daily highlight, such a privilege. The house is super quiet, in terms of any noise from neighbours, so very private and peaceful. The flat grassed garden to the side was great for our soccer-mad boys to kick a ball around for exercise. You absolutely need a car.

Our accomodation was was amazing! Phillip was a great communicator and his wife was lovely. The house was in a great location, private, large and beautiful. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature, fruit and flowers. the perfect place to relax and unwind, especially by the pool. Thank you so much for our stay, we loved it!

Omg! This place was absolute magic! I 🥰 I knew when I wanted to book somewhere for my 30th I wanted something exactly like this villa. It exceeded my expectations and more. Waking up to the most beautiful views everyday, to having easy access to the beach, kayaks, swim equipment etc. Having the most beautiful, friendly cleaners that greeted us everyday with a smile and always checking into see if we needed anything. Kiana pureau was the one who checked us in and she was just a beautiful soul, very helpful & gave us some experiences to try which we did & loved! Theirs nothing I can complain about, everything from check in to check out was a breeze! The villa made our whole holiday even more special & we will definitely be back again. 1000/1000 recommend this place!❤️

We absolutely loved John and Ann’s home. It was beautiful. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. It was right on the beach, near grocery stores, restaurants and hikes. We had gorgeous weather which was the icing on the cake. Chantal greeted us as John’s concierge. Her friendly island flair made us feel right at home. We got in late at night and there were snacks and drinks waiting for us in the fridge. She gave us a run down on places to eat and activities to consider. The lagoon was excellent for paddle boarding and snorkeling. We had an amazing time. Thank you!!

Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer !! Fantastic house and location. The house provided everything we wanted and needed. Thanks Tony and Lhia and thank you for the most welcome goodies in the fridge on our arrival, we will return.

We loved Te-Manava so much, we will be coming back. The staff were excellent, was like a hotel. Vitiama was also so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. From booking tours, organising a taxi or dinner reservation, she was onto it immediately. Highly recommend this property.

My husband and I stayed at Malina’s air BnB on our Honeymoon and could not have asked for a better place to stay! We booked our stay here very last minute due to our original accommodation falling through, Malina was so accommodating to our situation and totally put my mind at ease. Our whole stay at the air BnB was exactly what we were after, it was quiet, private and had everything we could possibly need (the beautiful pool was definitely a highlight!). We are forever grateful to Malina for making our honeymoon as perfect as we could have hoped. We will definitely be back and could not recommend this stay more to other people considering it!!

After booking accommodation ,Dorisse made contact with me with a welcoming message and offered to give any recommendations / advice as it was our first time visiting the island. Dorisse greeted us at the airport to show us to our accommodation even though we had a hire car. We arrived very early in the morning and Dorisse very kindly had our accommodation ready to check in earlier. Dorisse was very responsive to all communications. Dorisse was lovely and friendly and very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed having our own space on her property. We felt very much at home and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property to anybody

Our stay at Rachel's property was nothing short of amazing! The property exuded a serene Balinese vibe; the lush gardens, wooden architecture & open-air spaces created the perfect oasis for relaxation. The photos simply don't do it justice—it was even more lovely in person. Rachel was incredibly communicative, always quick to respond, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. We loved the thoughtful touches like fresh fruits from Elis, and a comprehensive guide to the area's best spots to visit. The house itself was well-suited for entertainment with an open layout, a well-equipped kitchen, & a cozy living room that made some of our time spent indoors (cyclone rainy season) a breeze. Though the rain didn't stop us from enjoying the infinity pool every day. Overall, we left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a fantastic stay. I highly recommend Avaiki Nui Villa to anyone looking for a memorable and pleasant stay. I would definitely book this place again!

Pacific Palms is absolutely amazing! Just a heavenly sanctuary in one of the most relaxed places on Earth. the layout was better than expected. a fabulous pool and relaxing area and great comfort and amenities throughout. The hosts are amazingly attentive and responsive. we could not has asked for more and definitely will be back!

We had such a wonderful stay at Felicia’s Airbnb! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We enjoyed our stay here. Made use of the bikes and kayaks. Lots of towels provided and we spent most of our time in the pool or the lagoon. Very relaxing and although local shops, market and bakery were walkable we found having rental car really worthwhile. Scott was around every morning and Rose responded quickly to any inquiry. Thanks team!

Beautiful, private, dramatic views, fresh breeze. Really clean, had everything we needed. We had windows and curtains open never needed air con. Great up on the hill, what a view! Beautiful pool! We did across the island hike and swam at waterfall at the end- worth it! When we returned our scooter … no problem walking back . Had wonderful snorkels! Went kite boarding. Beautiful stay after a week on Atiu, 2 weeks on Aitutaki (kiting/snorkeling!!:), and our first week on the beach at Muri. Our last week up on the hill in the beautiful private penthouse;) 🫶🏽 Communication was great! So pleasant and helpful. Very happy💗
