It is named after our 2 children Manea and Ke'ona and acknowledges our connections to the land and our ancestors - Makea (Ngati Rupe - Tepaeru Ariki - Taiava line). We are located in Avarua near the historical Avarua church, Makea Palace, Cook Islands National Auditorium and in walking distance to town, markets, restaurants, cafes, movie theatre, bus stop, the waters edge (trader jacks) and a 10 min bus ride to Muri beach.

The wide lagoon in front of the bungalow is on the edge of a large marine reserve, with the best snorkeling on Rarotonga.
