Great private location very close to the beach, and perfect for kids to play outside and ride bikes around safely! The pool was definitely not in walking distance, but worth a quick drive as it wasn’t ever too busy and a very nice place. Kids loved the outdoor shower and adults loved the porch seating. Host very responsive and friendly!

This house was absolutely perfect! Not only was it exactly as pictured and described, but it felt very cozy, while still being spacious and offering lots of options. The location provided quick access to a beautiful beach, and a great ‘central’ location for day trips to Ocracoke, Pea Island, Nags Head and Hatteras, which gave our group great flexibility when people wanted to strike out on their own and then meet up later. Having the kayak and paddle board handy was nice for those who just wanted to relax and ‘chill’ for the day. We especially loved morning coffee on the back deck overlooking the sound, and being able to have dinner together on the huge screened in porch. The kitchen was extremely well-appointed which made meal prep a breeze. Communications with the host could not have been easier. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend!

I can't say enough positive things about Anthony or Diamond Shells. Beautiful beach front home. Do understand that, while the walk to the beach is very short, it is quite sloped - this is the case for every single beachfront home due to the topography. The house was absolutely perfect, and so was Anthony. Very responsive host and answered all questions very promptly and graciously.

Kalid's house Las Palmas was the perfect place for my family and I. The location is perfect for getting right onto the beach. This is the cleanest and most well kept house I've stayed at. I've stayed in the Outer Banks several times and this is the best experience we've had by far. Kalid and his property manager a very responsive to whatever you need and make sure your stay is the best it can be. If you plan to travel to Rodanthe and this place is available, book it right away!

Very nice place to stay for a small family and friends gathering. Not having been before, the location is remote and if you have teenagers it might seem far away from things that teens like to do. We loved that we could wake up and see the beach and easily walk to the beach. It’s remote but there are neighbors and a few places near by to get groceries and get a meal. Overall, a lovely stay and we would come back again.

We had a lot of fun and there were lots of things to do within walking distance. The deck space was perfect for our big family to spend time together. The Ocean side was a block down the road and the beach was very big with soft sand and plenty of area to play games and have fun. There were lots of beach chairs, bikes, and games provided. We had 14 people and there was plenty of room for everyone.

Great location for our trip. Enjoyed the decks and being able to walk to the beach from the house. Would stay again.

We loved staying in James’s home! It was perfect for our needs. Our children loved the marsh behind the house. We saw deer, egret, turtles, fish and many other birds every morning. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We immediately felt at home. James’s home has a wonderful porch, as well as a building for storing any outdoor gear. It is well equipped with an outdoor shower, which is perfect after a day at the beach. James welcomed us into his home by gifting our family a dozen eggs from his laying hens. Our trip was perfect, and we cannot wait to return.

Very clean, charming beautiful home. Nicely tucked away from crowds and noise but at the same time walkable to everything. Hosts were very responsive and local so very helpful. Very friendly hosts and lovely decorators with great taste and great book collections. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay ! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. One of the best features was that every bedroom had its own private bathroom, which made things so convenient for our group. The kitchen was fully equipped, the living spaces were cozy, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The host was responsive and helpful, making check-in a breeze. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free getaway!

We had a great stay at Toes in the Sand. It was even better than pictured. I was originally worried from the photos that maybe you couldn’t see the ocean from the main living floor, but you absolutely can see the ocean from nearly everywhere in the house. It’s lovely. Such a charming house, quiet, beautiful beach, and near enough to groceries, gas, and anything else you’d need. Also, had a great Oceanside dinner at Fish Heads <30 min north! We had a wonderful vacation time staying at Shenanigan Shores. It's proximity to the beach, the hot tub, and the swimming pool, all made for an enjoyable and relaxing time. Although we had a delay in being able to access the house, it was clean, nicely decorated, and provided a quiet and restful place for our vacation. We would be happy to stay there again and feel sure that other families will enjoy it as well.

Amazing place to stay in OBX! Highly recommend! Beautiful home with lovely decor. Clean home and grounds. Private and so peaceful. Pool so refreshing, hot tub a great bonus. Beds are really comfortable, lots of extra pillows too. kitchen fully stocked with whatever you could need to cook or make drinks (appliances and dishware, etc.) Garage full of nice extras of bicycles, kayaks, life vests and beach fun playing in the sand for the little ones. outdoor shower to get the sand off too. Some nice restaurants, convenience stores all very close by. 15 mins to Hatteras, 40 mins to Nags Head. Connie is a wonderful host, clear instructions, very helpful and gracious. I highly recommend, we stayed for our annual family vacay, everyone loved it, house so nice. Connie is a star! We can't say enough good things about her home, just go and see for yourself!

This home is really fantastic. The location is ideal for access to the ORV ramps at Cape Hatteras as well as other points of interest. It's super convenient to get to the grocery store and several great restaurants. The neighborhood is so lovely and walkable. We did not utilize the pool as it was early in the season / cold outside but it looks wonderful. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the indoors and so many great spaces to sit outside and enjoy the peaceful getaway. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Traveled with another family - three kids - everyone had plenty of room and a great time.

This was an extremely clean home and exactly as described. Amanda was a super responsive hostess with many suggestions for the area. I will definitely rent again in the future. Great stay!

We had an incredible stay at Sarah’s place! It is close to everything and was exactly as described. Sarah was also super responsive and had great recommendations which we referenced throughout our trip! Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Kite's Inn was exactly as advertised and more. The home is beautiful, well-furnished, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the location with great views of the Pamlico Sound. The House was ideal for pets and small children. The grass yard allowed our dogs to play outside and to swim in the Sound without having to worry about stepping on burs and the beach was ideal for our 1 1/2 year old grand child. The house is easy walking distance to nearby attractions and restaurants. Joshua is a great host who was responsive and proactive with ideas when we had a rainy day.

We came to Rodanthe to relax and that’s exactly what we did. This is the only Airbnb in the Outer Banks that we’ve considered staying at again. This rental house was more like a home which is rare to find at the beach. So many thoughtful extras to make your stay more enjoyable. The outdoor shower was everything. I didn’t use the shower inside our whole stay. The hot tub was clean and heated up quickly. The master bed was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the deck talking, laughing, playing games, and enjoying the sounds of the ocean and the breeze. Beach access is right in front of the house which made for a very short walk back to use the bathroom or get a drink. I appreciated having just one flight of stairs to walk my senior dogs up and down to go to the bathroom. The host was very prompt getting back to me and answering all of my questions. We had a slight issue that was out of the host’s control but they did everything in their power to make it right.

It's a vacation home and the location is the selling point. You have a view of the ocean out of most of the windows. And the sound of the waves is beautiful. Darren was extremely responsive and helpful. He was an excellent host. We would gladly go back and visit maybe at a different time because the cost was high in comparison to the others on the street. Side note; In my opinion the property management company and cleaning crew they have maintaining the home takes full advantage of the owners not living there. I hope he has appropriate conversations with them regarding their lack of.

Had a great stay for our honeymoon, was very clean, the house was cute and cozy, close to everything, just a short walk to the beach. Highly recommend staying here.

Iga's beach house was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! The house was very spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything that we needed for stay at home meals and the charcoal grill was perfect for cooking outside as well. The living room was large and comfortable seating for lounging around and watching movies. Just a short walk to the beach and some local shops and ice cream, which was very convenient. Iga was a wonderful host. She was very responsive and always kind. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend this home for your next Outer Banks stay!!

Great price for the size and very close to the beach. Has tons of fun spots and great places to eat nearby.

We had such a wonderful family vacation! The beach was perfect. It felt like we had our own private beach area. There is plenty of room for our family of six. Gia was very responsive and available. She has such a lovely home! We can’t wait to book the house again. Everything was extremely clean and welcoming.
