Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Aÿ

The house was exactly what we hoped for. Peaceful in the countryside yet close to the city to see the sights. We had a bit of a snafu upon check-in but Julie was quick to find a solution that worked well for our family. I wish we had an opportunity to have a champagne tasting but the timing never worked out. However, Julie provided a bottle that was divine... Thanks, Julie!

Absolutely loved our stay! The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We especially appreciated the warm welcome—we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Helene’s place was amazing for our family trip to champagne. Our little girl enjoyed the trampoline while we had a great bbq in the garden. The champagne that was available in the house was delicious. Would love to come again.

What a find, this was just about perfect for our long weekend stay, the house was simply lovely, well thought out and immaculately clean. The pool and hot tub were super relaxing, a real treat and we will certainly visit again. If you are looking for a beautiful house in a very quiet and peaceful area then this is perfect. Lovely accommodation and plenty of space well equipped for a family stay. We visited as a couple to visit an event and enjoy some local cycling and it was perfect.

Beautiful location, spacious and equipped with all necessities. Would choose this again if we were going with a group. Also did the champagne tour with Nathalie, expert explanation and even a 43 year old champagne to taste!

Such lovely hosts and a brilliant place! we were three friends and right at home. Delphine and Olivier were super friendly and helpful. The house was spacious, clean, well equipped, very comfortable. There are lots of champagne houses in Damery - we had a tour of Caillez-Lemaire (Next door), which was fantastic. We had a brilliant stay. Thank you!

Accommodation: A super nice and beautiful cottage, perfect for four people! We have enjoyed this stay. Two spacious bedrooms with a private bathroom. Living room and kitchen had everything you needed, wonderful sauna and hot tub where you can enjoy after a long day. Jeremy responded quickly to all the questions we had and thought along with us when we couldn't figure something out. That was very nice. Trigny The village is a 15-minute drive from Rheims, which is easy to do with the uber (we did not have our own car). Furthermore, there is not much to do in the village (1 restaurant, no supermarket, but many champagne houses). If you don't mind, this is really recommended!

Roxane was very communicative and the Airbnb was lovely and in a great location. We weren’t traveling with a child, but the second bedroom would have been perfect! It was amazing to have the air conditioning units during the heat wave.

Cathy met us on arrival, showed us where to park the car and accompanied us to the apartment. She spent time going over ever together with local recommendations and also had a chilled bottle of champagne in the fridge for us! Whilst only a short stay we felt right at home. After spending 10 weeks travelling round Europe I can say that Cathy’s apartment has been one of the best! Merci Cathy! 😊

Our stay at Hervè's apartment was wonderful. He and Claudine were very welcoming. On arrival, they invited us to share a glass of their own champagne with them (we ended up buying 2 bottles to bring home!) The private courtyard where we could park our car and enjoy the sunshine was very pleasant and peaceful. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful village and surrounding vineyards. The local boulangerie offers some fantastic pastries, quiches and bread (also coffee) and they are also very friendly. The apartment itself was spotless and very comfortable. The photos do not do it justice. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Christophe is a legend. In a world of corporate-owned AirBnBs where you can’t get a host on the phone, they haven’t personally been in the apt for years, and you feel like a cog in their revenue wheel, Christophe is a breath of fresh air. He personally greeted us both on arrival and departure, was so genuine and kind, offered lots of great local recommendations and even helped carry our very heavy luggage to our car down the street. I would 10/10 recommend you stay here if you’re in the area and we’ll absolutely stay again next time we pass through. Merci, Christophe!!

an excellent stay, too short to enjoy the activities in the area (came for the Champman triathlon). If we have to come back, I hope this accommodation will be available as it was so nice.

Great location and very pretty accommodation. The place is smaller than how it looks like on the pictures, but all the listed amenities were there and we enjoyed our stay!

An absolute must-stay when you are going to Epernay, Champagne. Super easy to find, and incredibly close to all the highlights! The perfect stay, with very friendly hosts!

This apartment has a fantastic location. Many restaurants and cafes within a 2 minute walk. The cathédrale, Reims train station and multiple tram stops are also within easy walking distance. The apartment is on the top floor of a renovated mansion. Clean, quiet and intelligently designed. Note that the bed is lofted, accessible by retractable ladder, so people with mobility issues may find this a challenge. The building itself is safe and there isn’t too much street noise at night despite the building being in the center of downtown. A great place for either a couple or a solo traveler.

Emmanuel was extremely responsive and helpful. The unit was in great shape and perfectly fit our needs. It is on a side street that is quiet and peaceful, but it is less than a 5-minute walk to numerous restaurants, patisseries, boulangeries, fromageries, charcuteries and even a biscuiterie. Wonderful home base for a vacation in Reims!

It was a pleasant stay. A nice small and clean apartment near the center of Reims (15 min walk). You have everything you need, including a small garden. The check-in process was a bit cumbersome with picking up a key at another location. Finally, the bed was a bit small for 2 people, I think around 140 cm wide. The hosts respond quickly if there is anything. Definitely recommended to stay here!

We loved our weekend in this apartment - wished we could have stayed longer. Balcony was perfect for evening drinks and location within walking distance of the Cathedral, restaurants and bars and, crucially for us, several champagne houses! Olivier was a great host with lots of proactive communication. He informed us that the shutters were stuck and I was concerned that this would make the room really hot, so he put fans in the rooms, which definitely helped when it was 30+C outside. V secure method for getting keys and entering the property. Would love to return - will definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Reims.

Perfect accommodation right along the Ave de Champagne, so clean with the most amazing view from the balcony of the avenue and vineyards, Jean Louis had a lovely cold bottle of champagne waiting for us on arrival which was a lovely touch, I will be staying here again the next time I am back in Epernay
