Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bacalar

Efrain has a large, spacious, clean accommodation with all the amenities you can imagine. Your home connects with the particular beauty of Bacalar. For us, having the Lagoon in front of us was key to our stay. Some days we stayed inside the house and had a great time. The internet, screen, board games and his speaker solved it. We found everything we needed to cook. I would like to emphasize that the location of the house can attract wildlife from the ecosystem. You have to be empathetic and not hurt it. As simple as putting up the mosquito nets and you're done, nothing gets into the house. Great place to be with your family with great accommodation and a host attentive to what you need.

Great location right on the lake. We especially enjoyed spending time in the outdoor eating area (with full kitchenette), and swimming and watersports activities right off the private pier. Note that the property has bedrooms in two separate buildings. Two bedrooms are lakefront, and the remaining bedrooms are a bit further back in a separate building, which also includes a kitchen and outdoor seating. The property was clean and well kept, albeit a bit dated. Location is about 5 minute drive into town. Overall a great spot for a few days in Bacalar.

Mariana’s place is a perfect accommodation for Bacalar. To be lagoon side and have a gorgeous property to enjoy is an experience my family will remember forever. The house was clean, orderly, and had all that we needed to enjoy cooking at home and enjoy our leisure time. I hope this magical spot stays just as wonderful and beautiful for our next visit. The best stay in Xul-Ha, the property is beautiful, it has everything you need, at the foot of the lagoon so we didn't need to go out much to different places, it's all you need for an excellent family vacation. The house is quite large, we loved that everyone had their space and privacy. The only thing I could recommend would be to change the showers, even so we could use them, however there was no good pressure. Lourdes' service was impeccable, she was very attentive the whole time and gave us all the recommendations! We will definitely be back!

The place is very nice and very close to Bacalar. The pool is great, the water always stayed warm and it's deep. The only thing I would like to be in the description is that the pool can be shared because we chose the place with respect to the location and that the pool would be for us and it was not so. Despite everything, we really enjoyed staying at Casa Pimienta. Maria's service and recommendations are very good.

I love the accommodation. It's to my liking, very good for vacationing since you have many things nearby, everything works and the accommodation is always clean, also very well thought out to enjoy. In the case of the hostess Claudia, she was super friendly at all times, always recommended things to do and was also attentive every day to see if we needed anything. The truth is, the service was great, and in the end I ended up discovering many good places thanks to her recommendations. I would definitely go back to Bacalar without a second thought.

Carlos gave perfect instructions for our arrival. The lodging was excellent and as described. The resident dog allowed me to give it pets, which was an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

I really liked Emma's apartment because of the coziness. You can see the attention to detail to make the guest feel comfortable. It has the basic tools to cook, plus they provide water, salt, sugar, cooking oil, bean coffee; which doesn't happen in many accommodations. I also liked that it has a private garage and pool. The downside is that it is far from the village and shops. If you're going by car, it's no problem as it's 10 minutes to downtown by car.

Everything is very good, super close to the airport, it has parking for a car on the street, there is an Oxxo on the corner and it is easy to get to. I would only advise leaving a rag in the bathroom and another in the entrance and putting rags in the kitchen to clean and dry your hands. We will be back!

Very good option to stay in Chetumal In my case, I was in the Airbnb almost the entire trip, working, and everything was super quiet. At no time did I feel any discomfort.

Lovely apartment close to town centre and lagoon. Free parking if you have a car. Lovely pool. The apartment was very clean, well supplied and hosts were very responsive.

The place is very well located, it is very comfortable and has all the services. Bernie was always attentive to my arrival and always showed initiative. I highly recommend this place.

Everything was perfect, we really enjoyed it, the communication was very efficient. It's easy to get to the lagoon by car from there and the truth is it's very quiet at night because it's not close to the center, you only hear the sounds of birds and the occasional car on the road.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Teresa’s home! Check in was flexible as we were delayed in Tulum. Teresa’s instructions were always super clear and so we didn’t have any issue finding the house at sunset, also there is a hotel next door with a restaurant in case you miss the supermarket! The house is about 10 minutes away from Bacalar town, it has a perfect view of the lagoon and everything you can need inside. The lagoon is super private as most boat trips are over on the other side of the town also. We absolutely loved being there and surrounded by nature, I would very much recommend the house!

Very comfortable space. Large bed. Great water pressure. Just a couple blocks away from the lagoon. Various restaurants two minutes away as well. Great host. She helped us coordinate our tours and transportation and gave us tips on restaurants and everything else.

Very good service, cabin with the necessary and additional with pool and gym. About 100 meters from the coast.
