Holiday rentals with a patio in Backbarrow

We had a really great stay with our young baby. The apartment was really spacious and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for walking to Bowness. We would love to stay again.

Lorraine’s place was the perfect place for a couples getaway to Bowness. The place was spotless and provided everything we needed for a cosy and convenient stay. The bed was so incredibly comfortable and the bathroom felt spa like which was a lovely treat after a day out exploring the lakes. It was also minutes away from lovely pubs and bars which we enjoyed throughout our trip. We would 100% stay here again! Thanks Lorraine!

This is our second visit to Raymond's. It is a fab, cosy little cottage in an beautiful area. If you like walking, birdwatching, nature, scenery - you cannot go wrong. If we ever want a weekend away from it (not in our caravan) we would definitely come here again.

Fantastic stay, great location in the heart of Ambleside. The apartment was super clean and felt light and airy. Tv in the living room and bedroom was a great addition after a day of walking and wanting to chill in bed which was very comfy. The hosts gave lots of recommendations through their very useful guide book and were on top form with their communication.

Fantastic stay. Beautifully put together and great location. Friendly host. Great for groups coming to enjoy the Lake District. Not difficult to find as some of the reviews suggest!

We had a fantastic stay at Janette’s! The flat was clean, cosy and had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. The small enclosed courtyard was also perfect for our dog. Broughton itself is a beautiful village - bakery, butchers & pubs nearby. We’d definitely love to come back and would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Had a brilliant stay, was met by Kevin to check in, he was very informative and couldn’t offer enough advice/guidance. Vikki was very responsive during communications and always very respectful and clear. The place itself is amazing, very spacious, clean and you get plenty of towels, cutlery etc. The hot tub is very well kept and smart. The hosts are there if you need anything but leave you to total privacy. The view from the back is outstanding and we had a brilliant time. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. This is a perfect cottage for a holiday – fully equipped with everything you need and set in a beautiful environment. We didn’t have to worry about a thing during our stay. It’s also very close to Lake Windermere, and the host was extremely friendly and responsive. We had a truly enjoyable holiday here!

We had a wonderful stay here in Ambleside. The studio apartment was perfect and the ideal place to relax after walks in the nearby area. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. A great location too, a short walk (down/up a hill) into Ambleside with plenty of restaurant choices nearby and lots of places to walk. Thank you for a lovely stay!

A very rare find in the lakes! Beautifully presented property which a huge amount of space. A great base for families or small groups of friends keen to explore the surrounding areas. Sarah was a perfect host, helping us with whatever we needed throughout the stay. We’ll do our very best to return!

We really struggled to find the cottage as the sat nav took us to two completely different places beforehand! At 8pm in the pouring rain, with two young children we were knocking on the door of another 3 The Row, Spark Bridge to find a worried Air BnBer thinking we'd been double booked! I tried to phone the number for the host listed on AirBnB but no response. I was surprised to have no return call later on to check there were no emergenices once they'd seen the missed calls! We only found the cottage by chance after driving round and round. Cottage was lovely, very cosy, everything you need is there. Garden is beautiful, yes communal but we only saw one other neighbour who was lovely and told us the history of the cottages. The river in the garden is amazing! Wish I'd read listing properly and seen it was pet friendly (my error) as it was either the pet hair or the plug in air fresheners that brought on my allergies! Overall we had a lovely stay to break up our journey to Scotland!

1 nights stay wasn’t enough. Perfect location, central to everything plus a 2 min walk to the sea front. Very beautiful, stylish and comfortable accommodation with everything we needed. Sarah was a lovely host and we loved the leaded Shrimp window. 🩷 Already looking at coming back.

We had a very restful and enjoyable stay at 32 Oversands Drive. Excellent communications with the owners throughout. Such a spacious, well-equipped and beautiful home. Felt relaxed the moment we stepped inside. The well-stocked garden, full of late summer flowers, provided a perfect spot for sitting. Great views across Morecambe Bay to the hills on the other side; you can see the weather coming and going across the great sweep of sky. Grange over Sands such a friendly place. Lovely walks along the promenade overlooking the saltmarsh and estuary, beautiful old station, plenty of independent shops. Nearby Cartmel well worth a visit. We had booked Predator Experience for our son's 21st birthday, and had a great time there, getting to know the wolves! It's also not too long a drive to the Lakes: we climbed Harter Fell and Loughrigg, visiting Coniston and Ullswater as well. A perfect holiday, made really special by having such a comfortable, spacious and welcoming place to stay. Thank you.

We loved our stay at Easter How, it was perfect for our family get together. The gardens are gorgeous and our daughter's dog enjoyed exploring all the different paths. My dad enjoyed feeding the birds so thank you for providing the food for that too! It really was a home from home, so comfortable with great facilities and in such a tranquil setting. We enjoyed walking to High Dam Tarn a couple of times too, the second time we took the easier route through the field as my parents found the steep climb tough going the first time. Justin (co-host) kept us updated and we had the added bonus of meeting him when he dropped off some coffee beans! What a fantastic choice this ended up being. Staveley was absolutely perfect for our family stay with two very young children. The house was everything we needed, spacious, clean, and the beds! - oh my I’ve never had such a good night sleep in all my life!! Parking can get a bit busy outside the house but we always managed to park two cars. The idyllic walk over the footbridge of the river was beautiful and leads to a lovely little village with all you need - More? Bakery was unreal for breakfast, Duffins did amazing coffee, Eagle & Child pub was a great riverside outdoor dinner one evening, Kimis Gelato was the best ice cream at the weekend but they closed for the weekdays which was heartbreaking! The play park was just perfect to keep the kids occupied during those spare hours in the day. The local Spar had all we needed and we popped to Lidl in Kendal for our big food shop. Location was great for all our hikes & days out. I’d up and move from London to Staveley in a heartbeat.

The flat was lovely, beautifully kitted out and with some interesting lighting features! There was lots of space inside. We appreciated being able to stay a bit longer before checking out so we could have a planned zoom meeting. Thank you for being accommodating.

Blown away by how beautiful, peaceful, comfortable & unique this place is. Absolutely loved our stay- visited for Cartmel races and close by taxi to the centre of Cartmel. Comfy for 6 adults, loved the peaceful pretty grounds for a morning coffee and the fire in the living room for a relaxing evening. Couldn’t have wished for more! We will be back!!!!! A lovely break in Kirkby Lonsdale for half term. Great apartment with everything we needed and super clean.

Just the perfect stop over after a looong drive back from The Highlands. So peaceful, extremely comfortable bed and squeaky clean apartment. So quiet too! The surroundings were amazing with a beautiful garden overlooking the highest point on the Pennines! Julie and Paul were just the best. They were waiting for us on arrival and gave us the warmest of welcomes (As did the dogs!) They were so kind and helpful. Look forward to coming back sometime to explore more of the beautiful Eden Valley.

A wonderful stay in beautiful accommodation. The apartment is in a great central location to Lytham shops, restaurants and beach. The apartment is well equipped, modern and very clean. The host is very helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend this accommodation and look forward to staying again.

This was our first Air BnB stay! And what a great firat experiance for us 😃 Perfect location walking distance to everything we needed. The place was spotless. Comfy beds, great shower, it had everything we needed. Great little apartment and the kids had a great time. This place was what we needed. Little enclosed garden perfect for dog. Views were stunning. In flat was everything what you need. Owners were very welcoming and quick answering for anything we needed.We would love to come back there one day
