Holiday rentals with a kayak in Bærum

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay here. From the attentiveness of the hosts, and the condition of their beautiful home and everything in between it was an absolute stress free stay. I can’t thank ours hosts Erik and Anita enough for opening their beautiful home to my family and me. Would stay here again without question. Five stars all around from top to bottom!

Lovely space a super kind host!

Oddbjørn’s house is incredible. With a beautiful location right on the water and tons of space in the house it feels like a vacation the moment you step inside or out onto the deck. There are so many amenities, the kitchen is huge, the sauna is a fantastic addition. This space is perfect for large groups or a family looking to get away for the weekend. With kayaks, canoes, and a rowboat you can explore a serene lake and really enjoy the surroundings. Enjoy a great week in Norway at this spectacular house!!

A beautiful family home in an idyllic location. Private beach with jetty for swimming/fishing and boat & kayak available for guests to use. Lots of outdoor space to eat and enjoy the views. The inside of the house is immaculate. Very quiet, private setting but within easy reach or Oslo. Thanks so much to Einar and family who were so welcoming and helpful.

Great place and area, house was very nice and spacious

We had a fabulous time in Alf's home. Arriving from abroad to spend Christmas with family, we found the house beautifully decorated throughout with everything one could need to have a cosy, festive holiday. Toys and books had been provided for the children and even some extra special Christmas treats which were thoroughly appreciated. The level of care and attention to detail to which the property had been prepared was truly commendable. It was homely and welcoming and we felt completely comfortable as soon as we stepped through the door. Everything that we needed was a short drive away and we enjoyed walks in the woods, sledging and skiing trips. A magical and memorable Christmas was enjoyed by all. Our heartfelt thanks and best wishes to Alf and all his family for sharing their beautiful home with us.

We had a very pleasant christmas holiday at Jarle's in 2024. He provided us with a tree and decorations and all other items we requested. There were cross country skiis for most of us. We were 7 adults, and four children under 10. We had more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen was well supplied. Some of us liked the sauna, but I especially liked the fire pan outside. All in all a great place for a family gathering.

Beautiful place, well maintained and equipped. Conveniently 10-15min drive to all the town services but in the middle of nature, right by the water. We stayed for six nights with our 10 month old baby and would happily return!

We spent some wonderful days at Vyti's log cabin. The location above the lake is great and with a wonderful view. The house is wonderful and offered everything we needed. The fact that we were able to rent kayaks from Vytis was very helpful. The area is very nice and you can do some very nice hikes. The access to the lake with a 10-minute walk is also great and uncomplicated. The distance to Oslo with an hour is very doable. Whether by car or by bus from Honefoss, it goes very well. We can only recommend holidays in Vyti's log cabin.

For us, it was a small waterfront paradise with breathtaking views, a large natural garden and direct access to the water with swimming. Many different seating options in the garden around the house. Sleeping places were very comfortable , the cabin was a small jewel box for us, which is lovingly furnished by the owner. We can highly recommend this wonderful place, will definitely come back ourselves.

We had a great, relaxing time at Ulriks Cabin. The nature around is beautiful and you can really calm down from the stressful city life there.

The cabin is totally amazing. What a beautiful spot to enjoy Oslo. Could sit on the deck for hours. The cabin itself is compact, but has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Great having the bus stop right out the front, and a short ride in or out of town makes Oslo very accessible. Kare and Truls were very friendly and shared some good local knowledge with us. Will definitely be coming back again!
