House holiday rentals in Bagard

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

The Atelier is a truly exceptional place to stay. It is a unique, beautifully styled property in a wonderfully peaceful location. Staying at the Atelier allows you to completely unwind surrounded by nature whilst being close to fantastic places to visit, like Nîmes and the Pont du Gard. The pool was very welcome on a hot day! Yolène is a wonderful, very responsive host, who has created a very special place to stay. She gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, shops and fêtes when we arrived but completely respected our privacy after that. We would definitely recommend the Atelier to our friends (in fact we have already done so!) and hope to have the opportunity to return one day.

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

An incredibly pleasant place, a peaceful and bright environment. It was a real pleasure to stay in Alexandre's house: the rooms are spacious and pleasant, the outside perfectly maintained and Alexandre's welcome perfect, knowing that he was able to be very flexible with the arrival time. The place is simply sublime. The house is beautiful and the environment is a real postcard. It is a peaceful place, between stones and nature. The owners are adorable and Blandine is really responsive. Thank you very much.

this house hidden in nature is the ideal place for nature and peace seekers. it is big enough for a large group without neighbors to hear or see any thing. a real recommendation in the hills of france

We had a very good holiday at Caroline's, the house is very nice with all the necessary amenities ( air conditioning, pool, outdoor kitchen...) everything is done to make our stay go smoothly. Located in a quiet environment in the countryside, perfect for those who like to be quiet. Nice place to visit the area.

My parents stayed in Stéphane's place and had this to say: "He was such a kind, helpful and mannerly host. The accommodation was excellent, really comfortable and clean. He left us teas, coffees etc. He checked that we were happy with everything a couple of times without interfering. He was most accommodating. He has a swimming pool which is lovely and clean. The gardens are amazing with small rock and pebbled pathways, trees and grassy areas. There were a number of villages within driving distance which had anything you might need to buy and lovely areas to explore. We have stayed in many Gites and AirBnBs over the years and we both agree that this is the best one we have ever stayed in."

Awesome character home on the vineyard. matches the photos perfectly, great access to the vineyard grounds where you can see chickens, horses and sheep as you walk around. Perfect for walking into town or day trips to Montpellier & Nimes. Ticked all the boxes for us.

The cottage is perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated, and you can feel that everything has been thought of for the well-being of travelers🙏. A perfect stay on every level! The accommodation was perfect: impeccably clean, super functional, with all the comforts you need. Special mention for the hot tub, a real plus to relax. It feels like home, or even better! I'd recommend it without a second thought.

We had a fabulous week , the accommodation is very functional and comfortable, the exteriors are beautiful with a very nice garden, a relaxing view and of course the very nice pool. Patrick and his wife are very nice, we are delighted with our week spent in the Cevennes and will most certainly come back to this accommodation.

Pierre is a very friendly and accommodating host, additional instructions were given by message a few days before the start of the arrival with a courteous call. Attentive host, very clear explanations and recommendations for nearby shops, I also recommend the very functional accommodation, very pleasant pool with a friendly barbecue area, as well as a football field and petanque that delighted the guests, Thanks again!

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cevennes, super quiet, decorated with great taste and well equipped. With extra pool and beautiful pétanque track... And hosts available, responsive and very friendly!

We had a great stay at the magnanerie du Monteil. The place is quiet and charming. We were able to benefit from Lydie's many tips on activities (hiking, canoeing, swimming in rivers, visiting charming villages, lunch in good restaurants). A perfect stay!

Very good stay, Stéphanie remained available during the stay to meet our needs. The necessary equipment for a baby was even available. Clear instructions, very well-equipped accommodation. The pool is a big plus when it's hot

Our stay at Ludovic’s home was absolutely wonderful. The house was beautifully appointed and had everything we could possibly need—and more. It was peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and full of heart. We especially loved the rich history of the home and how it had been in Ludovic’s family for generations; it added such a meaningful and authentic touch to our experience. Ludovic was incredibly gracious with his time, offering quick and helpful responses throughout our stay. I’ve truly never stayed anywhere that felt so much like home. Leaving was harder than I expected… I think a little piece of my heart stayed behind. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. We hope to return someday.

We were looking for a feeling of "alone in the world" lost in a generous nature, and bingo! All while having the comfort of a well-equipped and warm home. François is very attentive and responsive, very pleasant too. The view is memorable, the surrounding hikes wonderful. We loved the songs of the birds and the river below. We recommend it 100%!
