Holiday rentals with beach access in Balboa Island

Great spot with so many restaurants and coffee spots and the beach within walking distance. The place is cozy and bright — a delightful beach-town studio. There’s definitely some traffic noise (as described) but the white noise machine was perfect at night and we slept soundly. Definitely recommend!

Great stay! There is everything you could possibly need for a beach stay. Pam was so helpful and had lots of good suggestions. The location was perfect. Just a block and a half from the beach and the neighborhood was quiet. Bed was super comfy and the space was perfect. Didn’t use the patio much but that also was a nice addition. Will def be staying again!!

Roger was an excellent host. He communicated great and his home had everything you’d need for the beach. The beach house was in a great location with everything you need in walking distance. Thanks Roger and Family.

I was super lucky to find this place and it be available . I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs and this one is by far is the best! Location, upgrades throughout, comfortable but not too soft beds, instruction left for every gadget and the quality of the cookware, Gwen thought of every kitchen tool one would want and I have Lenox butterfly, so I felt right at home.

A quaint little house, with a short walk to the beach. The area is beautiful to walk and close to restaurants. Great stay.

Wonderful spot. Quiet and peaceful. Easy access to highways/amusement parks. Walking distance to restaurants and beaches. Would highly recommend if you are planning to stay in the area.

Our first impression when we drove up to our entrance meet our expectations. The garage, walkway and entrance was clean and welcoming. Easy access into all spaces. The apartment was clean, spacious and was full of natural light. Loved the fans that kept the space cool. The kitchen had everything we needed. A big thank to our hosts. They were able to give us access early access and were responsive when we had questions. If they would have us again, we would love to come back. ❤️

The place was very nice and comfortable, felt right at home. All amenities were there and everything was within walking distance. It’s small but not too small just right for vacation in Long Beach. 100% recommend to anyone that needs a get away and lounge around at home!

Jay’s place was a perfect spot on Newport Peninsula. We walked everywhere ! Beach only 5 min walk down the street. We loved it was right across the street from Pavilions grocery, lots of places to eat and also Lido Marina! Location perfect, clean, lots of space, loved the 3 bedrooms & 2 baths and big kitchen! Thank you Savannah for a lovely stay. We were in the area for a funeral so it was nice to walk around Balboa Island & Peninsula in our free time, including an hour or two on the beach. Your place was clean, efficient, and comfortable. You had all the amenities we needed. Thank you for your timely communications, you made it easy for us to be there.

We enjoyed staying at Annette's place. Great location just steps from Laguna Coffee Co, tons of restaurants (Nick's was our favorite) and the beach. The unit has lots of light and looks like the photos. We enjoyed the hot tub and grilling on the patio. Master bed was comfy. Communication was very good, and Annette went out of her way to provide helpful recommendations on hiking in the area. Definitely recommend.

Our family’s stay was lovely. This quintessentially classic Balboa Island house felt like home away from home — comfortable, warm and inviting, cozy and quaint … yet spacious, too. We were all thrilled to have plenty of elbow room. Excellent location on little Balboa Island made parking super easy, plus the main walk-around area was truly a quick, easy stroll away. Appreciated the kitchen/baths being well stocked with basic supplies and essential equipment. Host communication was superb. Five stars!!!

This was probably our favorite Airbnb we’ve stayed at to date! Amazing location, you are literally steps from the beach. Newport is such a great area!Took a short 10 minute walk to pick up coffee and bagels in the morning, and ate on the private upper deck. Beds were super comfortable! Hosts were always friendly and responsive. Would highly recommend, easy 5 stars all around. Thank you!

We loved our stay. The place is very clean with an easy, short walk to the beach. The boardwalk is less than a block away allowing for beautiful Oceanside walks to the pier to Balboa Island. We appreciated the included parking spot as well. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

This place was perfect! Very easy to get to main street shops. Beautiful view. Loved the 2 large couches so everyone cound sit in a large circle to talk with each other. Host was very fast answering any questions.

This is the perfect little place right next to New Port Pier. It was clean and spacious. It was fun to be next to the pier with all the restaurants and shops. The beach is just steps away and they have a cute farmers market on Sundays. It was perfect.

Amazing place, with a beautiful kitchen! The building itself was very quiet. Most everything was walkable, or at least a very short uber ride away! Any questions we had we got a response very quickly. A perfect stay for the weekend!

The place is so peaceful and steps away from the beach. As other reviewers have mentioned, can hear the sound of the waves from the space. Sheryl is awesome and responsive. The apartment itself is so clean and well-equipped.

We picked this Airbnb for the convenience of being near the beach and other amenities. It was a perfect place for our stay. It was clean and comfortable. The area was quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again.

This place was very nice. The building was amazing and I enjoyed all the antique qualities about it and the friendly tenants. There were so many extra touches left for us. Close to everything, but that also meant that it was very loud at night until things settled. We were there on a long weekend though. I would stay there again without hesitation. The team stayed at a hotel and this beat it by far. Megan was amazing and responded within minutes. so, so nice!
