The cabin has a new bathroom, kitchen, or facility, large terrace and electric car charger. There are many hiking opportunities in the area. The delicious and award-winning goat cheese that won the "world cheese awards" in October 2023 was produced 50 m from the cabin. From mid-July, the goats are the closest neighbors to the cabin. Here you will also find Northern Europe's oldest and smallest stave church, built in 1147.

In the winter season you can experience the Northern Lights, or beautiful starry sky. The ferry goes across the fjord, and to Solund. Cabin with stunning views in tranquil surroundings. Short distance to the fjord and a rowing boat is available in the summer months. The cabin has a mini kitchen, fridge, small oven and microwave. No dishwasher. Bathroom with shower and toilet, heating cables in the floor. Living room with lounge group, dining table and a cozy fireplace. The bedrooms are very small. Covered porch with outdoor furniture. Bed linen and towels are not included. When it snows, you have to park by the road and walk the last 50 m up to the cabin. Parking by the cabin during summer.

Nice trips nearby, including Vallestadfossen which is 500 meters away. Mountain trips are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This is free. The nearest town is Førde which is 30 minutes away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 m from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.
