Imagine a few days where you can disconnect from everyday life and instead connect to nature. Sharpen your senses, wake up to the sound of birdsong and magnificent views of Sognefjorden. Just peace, quiet, rustling over the pine trees and fire in the wood stove. Seldalen is an old mountain pasture with a traditional, simple West Norwegian mountain cabin. Don't expect sunshine every day - nature is weather, and you have to adapt to it! Go hiking from fjord to mountain, enjoy the vertical landscape and end the day with a refreshing swim in Huldrekulpen.

Cabin in the orchard "Borghildbu"

In this place you live at the top of the orchard at the farm Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of fjords and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning swim. You will experience life in the village with grazing animals and work that takes place in the season. When you stay in our orchard you are free to pick and eat the fruit that is on the farm. Short distance to Sandane city center. We accept bookings for mountain trips/fishing trips in our local area. Gamlestova at Juv

Juv is much more than just a house and a bed! Gamlestova was the original farmhouse and has the same amazing views as Juvsøyna on Juv and Gamletunet on Juv. From the canopy bed in the living room you can wake up to the sunrise and if you are lucky follow a tourist boat on its way to Olden with your eyes. In the evening you can fire up the stove, feel the good heat, read a good book and fall asleep to the light of the flames and the sound of the wood stove nearby. NB! Outdoor hot tub and car charger are not included in the rental price.

Hatlestu - Fjærland Cottages

With beautiful views of Fjærlandsfjorden you will find this cozy cabin. Here you are a short distance from exciting mountain trips with different difficulty levels. The cabin has a mini kitchen, fridge and microwave. No dishwasher or oven. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Living room with lounge group, dining table and a cozy fireplace. Covered veranda. Boat is available in the summer months. The cabin is located 40 km from Sogndal, about 30 km from Sogndal ski center, Hodlekve. A local Joker store is only 3 km from the cabin.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. In this cozy cottage you live in beautiful natural surroundings. River and mountain views from the window and on the terrace. Nice trips nearby, including Vallestadfossen which is 500 meters away. Mountain trips are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This is free. The nearest town is Førde which is 30 minutes away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 m from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.

Sleep under the mighty Storehesten with fjord views!!

Through winter, spring, summer and fall. This area offers a range of nature you have rarely experienced the likes of through all seasons. There are many hiking opportunities; Storehesten, Lisjehesten, Dagsturhytta Skaraly, hunting opportunities, swimming in the fjord or in mountain lakes. Enjoy the relaxing and comfortable atmosphere of the Birdbox. Cozy, close to nature and peaceful. Lay down and sleep right beside nature and the amazing surroundings. New apartment in the center of Balestrand for 4 persons. 2 bedrooms, (optional if you want single beds or double bed). Travel cot available. One extra guest in the extra bed. The apartment has a large balcony with several seating areas. Internet. 50 meters to grocery store, restaurant / pub, aquarium, tourist information, kayak rental and ribs tours. Ferry boat to and from Bergen, and further into the fjord to Flåm. Great hiking opportunities in the mountains with many hiking trails in the area.

Fagerlund 2- Cabin between Olden and Briksdalen

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful residence in the middle of mountains and fjords on Sunde, by the blue-green Oldevatnet /Oldewater. Here you have many hiking opportunities if you like to walk in the mountains. Klovane, Kjenuken/Høgenibba and Kattanakken are among the many popular top hikes in the area. 15 min drive to Briksdal glacier one way and 15 min drive to Loen and Hoven the other way. 30 min to Stryn. Place is well equipped with ready-made beds, towels and cleaning included!

If you like hiking, there are many great routs in the area. If you just are looking for silence and beautiful scenery, just sit down and enjoy!
