Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Balestrate

We had a wonderful couple of days at Vincenza’s. He was an incredibly responsive and friendly host. The place itself is very well appointed. We would absolutely return.

We travel a lot and rent Airbnbs all the time and this was among the best ones . Vito and his wife are just superb hosts and ready to help us with everything. The house was everything that was annonced and more. We arrived early and they let us in with a smile . We were spoiled with the fridge filled with water the cupboards filled with food…..amazing. The canollis they left for us was much appreciated. I could go on but you get my message, they are SuperHosts. You do need a car to get around .

Roberto is a great host, he is very caring and supported us super with all questions. We always felt very comfortable. The house is in a fantastic location, with great views of the sea on every level. The highlight is the private access to the sea. The pool offers everything you need for a great vacation. Parking spaces are available on the property. We had a VW bus, a motorcycle and a small rental car with us. (and mountain bikes) The proximity to the airport was very convenient for us because we were there with the whole family and our children arrived at different times. A private car is necessary to be mobile. For us it was perfect because we needed about 50 minutes to the climbing paradise San Vito del Capo and could also go to Palermo. The distance to the most beautiful places in West Sicily can be reached in <1 hour. The residential area is very quiet and well maintained and we always felt safe. Thanks to Roberto

We had three very nice days at Casa Limon. Werner is a helpful, friendly host. Communication before the trip was great. Werner responds very quickly and gives very accurate information. The place is clean and equipped with everything you might need. The city center and the beach are very easily accessible on foot and you can always find a parking space on the street. Thank you for the wonderful time!

We had a wonderful time here and cannot wait to come back! The hosts are just the best and amazing. We would 100% recommend this villa!!! The pool, the garden, take it all in! The host also sent us recommendations as we wanted to check out locations that locals would recommend. The host even went step further in securing us a ride into town when we needed it as we could not secure a taxi at the last minute. This level of helpfulness is really thoughtful and we could not have appreciated it more!!!! Thank you so so much!!! We already miss the villa!

We had a wonderful stay! The view from the villa is absolutely stunning. We were a group of 7 ladies and felt very comfortable throughout our visit. The surroundings are generally nice, although some parts of the nearby public beach were a bit dirty — nothing to do with the villa owners, of course. What we really loved was the terrace — during the day, when it’s incredibly hot, the terrace stays mostly in the shade, which makes it the perfect spot to relax and hang out. Being out in the sun was just impossible, so the shaded space was a lifesaver! The hosts were incredibly communicative and responsive — they replied to any questions within a minute. The only downside was the number of mosquitoes, so it would have been great to get a heads-up about that. I’d recommend bringing some repellent spray. Overall, a fantastic place for a relaxing stay. Very nice, modern and spacious place, close to several beaches. The appartment is private and has a nice terrace to sit outside. Salavatore and his family are very nice and super friendly and helpful. They even helped us out when we had a problem with our car. Highly recommended!

Hosts were great and very caring of us and our stuff. The place is very clean, furniture looks news, there's coffee, there's a parking space, there's a beach... Without further ado, the place is great, exactly as it looks in the pics, with the only downside (that we could find) that it's located right near the highway. However, this was not a problem at night, as the traffic is light and there was not much noise.

The home is in a quiet area. Wonderful view of the beach from the deck. Beautiful time with kids for a peaceful getaway. The beach is clean, we were often the only guests on it in sight (stay in May). Nathalie is very welcoming. She prepared a home for us and tips for our stay. There were beach toys in the house, which was a big advantage. The apartment is large and comfortably accommodated 7 people (5 adults and 2 children). Alcamo Marine is a good place to relax in Palermo if you're looking for a place close to a sandy beach and a base for Trapani or Palermo. The view of the sea every morning will be reminisced for years ☺️

We spent 3 wonderful nights in this accommodation. The location is incredibly evocative, with a wonderful view of the Mondello seafront. Clean and equipped house with everything you need. Very kind, proactive and helpful host. Highly recommended!

Magnificent in everything! Great taste in decor. Very central location, two lovely terraces. The staircase is a bit challenging to climb, but like all beautiful things, you have to work hard to reach them. Thank you Valentina for sharing your nest in the center of Palermo!

Wonderful location and town. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time exploring Castellammare del Golfo, and Leonardo was always available for recommendations or help. If you’re planning to visit Sicily, this is a must visit location, and Leonardo’s place was a great property to spend our time there. It was quiet, well located and beautiful.

The apartment and terrace was beautiful and also huge! We could’ve fit another family in there! Giovanni was super sweet and responds immediately and also gave us a really nice list of restaurants in the area. The places we ate from his list were excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

Hello, we had a great holiday in 5 people in Sicily, and Nathalie made the stay even nicer through her apartment. The apartment was clean and met our expectations. The apartment was spacious and pleasant, with everything we needed, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and a great terrace where we had dinner on warm evenings. Close to the apartment a small local bar serving morning coffee and delicious croissants. There are many beautiful places and attractions in the area, and after an exhausting day, a nice return home. I highly recommend Nathalie's place. ❤️❤️❤️

We loved our stay here - right near everything, walkable to the port and the beach and local shops. It was exactly as pictured and such a gem in the center of the area. The hot tub and terrace were extra special!

As we walked into the place, David greeted us with a warm welcome and basic instructions of the place. The snacks and drinks he left in the place for us were scrumptious and the recommended places were flawless. The place was definitely a once in a lifetime experience and anyone visiting Palermo should try it out!

This apartment was like a true Italian experience. It is cosy and thoughtfully designed using space cleverly, especially in the kitchen. It has 4 balconies and overlooks a busy corner ( pedestrian street) below. Fun to people watch, both locals and tourists. The location is in the heart of the old town and has many restaurants close by. Easy to walk to the beach ( a few minutes away) and the fish market and all tourist sites. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in this very comfortable apartment even though it could be noisy at times it didn’t bother us. A great place to stay.

We had an amazing stay. Our host was fabulous and was completely understanding of our very late check-in due to a delayed flight. We got a little tour through C.mare with great recommendations for restaurants and activities and even a little pastry treat from the local region! The apartment is very nice to stay at with walking distance to the harbor (5 min) and main street (1-2 min). If you have a rental car, parking spots are also close by: 5 min or 10 min walking - free; or 5 min walking for paid parking spots. During our stay in early June we always found a free parking spot. The apartment is also well equipped with a sun umbrella to use and a mokka pot (bialetta) and you can see that a lot of thought was put into making the apartment look neat and well decorated.

We felt at home from the first minute and would have liked to stay longer. Flawless accommodation, very nicely located with a beautiful view of the sea and mountains. Everything we needed was there. Super spacious with a very nice terrace. Beautiful pool with plenty of loungers and a beautiful view. 300 meters to the beautiful beach. To the place with many restaurants about 1.5 km. Nice hosts who were always available and gave good tips for the area. We would book the place again anytime!

We stayed at Lampeduso for 3 nights and it definitely wasn’t long enough. It’s such a great Airbnb in a perfect location. Palermo is such an interesting city, with its mix of cultures and all its gritty charm. The palace was perfect. It rained for two of the days we were there, but because the villa was so fantastic, the weather didn’t affect us at all. The place is huge, with great amenities that made a big difference—washer and dryer for our soaked clothes, umbrellas ready to go, and plenty of space to enjoy a good card game. When the sun did come out, we spent early evenings on the patio next to the pool. Honestly, the villa alone makes us want to return to Palermo.

The apartment is lovely, looks exactly like the photos. Very nice beds, linen and towels. We were really happy with the place and the perfect location if you want to be in the centre of Palermo. Only issue is the noise. I thought it would be ok since we were there Sunday to Wednesday but it was very noisy every night. Possibly all of central Palermo would have the same problem. Also check the suitability of the stairs and railing if you have small children.
