Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ballard, Seattle

Glen’s place was beautifully renovated with thoughtful details, ie lighting, decor, and striking bathrooms. Also, the beds, pillows, and bedding were so comfortable; they were some of the best we’ve had in an Airbnb. We appreciated the laundry amenity, the closet space, the TV in both bedrooms and the LR, and the air conditioner! We were happy to have a cute outdoor space, but we wished the umbrella was a tilting one. Maybe it was, but we couldn’t get it to tilt. However, we managed anyway to enjoy the outdoors and the BBQ. The neighborhood is a little quaint (looks like it may have been an early suburb that is now somewhat neglected), but is quiet and very private. We were very happy to have parking on site! Thank you, Glen, for this little oasis for a few nights!

A hidden gem! Our family had the most wonderful stay at Will's property. The location was perfect a perfect base for our family adventures around Seattle. The house is tucked away on a peaceful street and only a 5 minute walk to beautiful Green Lake, which our pup loved! Will was super proactive with communication and very kind. Our girls are already asking when we can go back!

We were in Seattle for our grandson's bar mitzvah and found this place because it was close to where the service was happening. We really love this house. It had everything we needed, including and cooking pans and opportunities for recycling and composting. The beds were very comfortable and the master bedroom upstairs with the king bed was so relaxing and sleep Able. There was even a highchair for our one year-old granddaughter who came by for dinner. The kitchen was small, but we were able to make enchiladas for a big group of people with the things that we found their plus we got two 9 x 13 glass pans from IKEA that we left there for the next person. At first, after we had been in the house and left and came back, we could not remember the door code and reaching out to Airbnb was a nightmare. At one point, we got a message that we would have to wait 24 hours to try again. But then I remembered the code and we got in, but it was a bit stressful to say the least.

Clean, quiet, and a fully equipped kitchen. Bryan’s place felt like home! It was so clean and calm. The kitchen was any chefs dream. I was able to unwind, read, relax and cook. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone. I loved the style and flow of the home too. Bryan was very friendly and easy to communicate with- he sent a lot of recommendations for the area as well.

We loved the space. Great views. Windows for days. We even measured some spaces in the house to incorporate into our home build. It’s not a large home but it feels so spacious with all the natural light. Truly feels like home. It’s not a cheap rental but the value is all there. We would love to return sometime! Zero complaints and I’d highly recommend the stay for anyone looking to visit the area.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Your place is elegant, comfortable, and so well thought out. We relaxed. Watched the herons, plunged in the sea at Fay Bainbridge, and took advantage of everything Bainbridge has to offer. I hope to come back! Have a great summer.

Great host, beautiful home close to everything. Swam at the lake and walked to the park. Only took 12min to get to downtown convention center. The house was so beautiful. The shower was lovely and large tubs! Adorable backyard retreat.

Kevin was very responsive and provided extensive instructions, which was appreciated. The home was lovely and very clean, in a terrific neighborhood. The only note is that the back two bedrooms do not have AC, though they do have tower fans to help cook the place down.

Great host and beautiful apartment. Sweet outdoor space. Very quiet and clean with everything we needed for a nice stay. The unit has quite a few stairs leading up to it and steps inside to be aware of for elderly or those with physical challenges. Great stay and I would stay here again for sure.

Delightfully clean, within easy walk of D-bus RapidRide to/from downtown and Ballard. Magnificent view of lit-up Magnolia neighborhood at night. Alex's team was responsive and proactive and friendly throughout. I hope to come back and stay again sometime. Thanks, folks!

Great spot to put down for the weekend! Roof garden is very impressive, and the views from there are wonderful.

Stayed for a second time on our way back from Alaska . Steve kindly let us stow one of our cases that we didn’t need just now . It really is a fabulous Airbnb in a beautiful neighbourhood . We certainly loved it .

A few things to mention: there is a reason why the rating is 4.99. The place is great for those looking for a full unit. The location is nearly unbeatable as far as beauty, walkability, things nearby and and proximity to other locations (shopping, fitness, downtown). The hosts are very friendly and helpful. I will note that my GPS pointed me to the wrong side of the street, so that is something one may need to consider.

Location, location, location… This place is perfect for what I'm looking for when staying in West Seattle. Close to the beaches, close to fabulous restaurants, close to everything you need. Jay is an extremely friendly host and willing to help. Place has everything you need inside..only exception would be creamer for my coffee. What a beautiful, beautiful neighborhood, what a fun place...we had a really great time staying here.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We have been vacationing as a large family for over 20 years. And this place checks all the boxes for us! Quiet rooms, private bathrooms, good bedding, multiple gathering areas, a large outdoor space with firepit. We all were able to relax and unwind. We plan to return!

Beautiful location! Splendid views! Gorgeous home with all the amenities! Roomy and comfortable and totally dreamy. Our host was super responsive, friendly, and kind. The home is super clean and nicely decorated. The swim spa was relaxing, clean, and well cared for. We made treasured memories here. Would 1000% stay here again!

Our only downside of this location was that we were only there for two days and wish we had been able to spend more time there. The house was perfect. The surroundings were perfect. It was a quiet neighborhood. Everything worked out very well. Christy was excellent and answering our questions quickly And it was a beautiful home.

This property was perfect for our group stay. The hosts were exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout our visit. The home comfortably accommodated everyone, and the outdoor area—with its spacious patio and beautiful view—was a highlight. The kids especially enjoyed the basketball court and various games available. Overall, a great experience—we would gladly return.

Stay in 5 star luxury accommodations while enjoying the most iconic view in Seattle! Ken’s lux townhome is the perfect base for discovering Seattle. Within minutes you’re enjoying DT Seattle, Pike Place market, the Seattle Space needle, or any of the DT sports venues. Several outstanding markets, including Whole Foods and Metropolitan Market, as well as fish right off the boat at near by Salmon Bay are close if you decide to cook in the chef’s kitchen with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances. Ken is an outstanding host offering local insights to the Seattle culture. Joe was extremely helpful and communicative with the check in and check out process.

This is our 2nd time staying at Dewen's place and we enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time. If we had known we'd need an Airbnb for as long as we do, we would have planned to stay here the entire time. It is easily walkable to Starbucks, Fred Myers and several restaurants (5 minutes). A slightly longer walk will take you to Gilman Village where there are restaurants, shops and Issaquah Coffee Company. The location is private, peaceful (there is noise from the freeway and larger roads nearby, but it was not at all a problem for us) and beautiful. We often saw deer in the yard and saw tons of different kinds of birds. I enjoyed just sitting on the deck relaxing in the beautiful surroundings and our dogs loved running around sniffing at the mole hills. The living/dining areas are very spacious, as is the master bedroom. There is an additional bedroom and a loft if you have a larger party. I would gladly stay here any time we need an Airbnb in the area.

Fantastic getaway location that offered tremendous privacy. Extremely spacious house that was even bigger than the pictures made it look. House had everything we needed from plenty of towels to soap/spices/basic amenities. For those coming in the winter months, be aware that the drive up is extremely steep and I would highly recommend 4 wheel drive if there is snow or ice. Rita was extremely proactive and responsive with her communication! Definitely worth the stay for a small group looking for a peaceful place to escape.
