We had an incredible few days in Malin Head at Radharc Banbha. The location exceeded our expectations - it was beyond peaceful and picturesque. We could see waves crashing on the shore and sheep happily wandering around the fields. The local hiking and history were absolutely fantastic, as were the nearby pub and restaurant. We'd wanted to give our kids a feel for the Irish countryside, and Radharc Banbha delivered that in a most magical way. Geraldine was easy to coordinate with and left lovely touches to welcome us. We wound up arriving very late, and Geraldine wonderfully offered us a late checkout to offset that when we were leaving, which was really appreciated as no one wanted to leave this perfect spot!! We felt at home immediately and everyone wants to go back again soon.

Everything you need plus comfortable beds. Very restful, peaceful setting with an incredible view of the ocean. An added bonus is Jack, the Australian Shepard, next door, who greets you and plays fetch for as long as you would like. Quintessential little town with walking distance to the local pub. The locals in the pub are so friendly and make you feel like part of the family. I want to move there. The cows and sheep are also content and take on a curious look as you walk by. Worth every penny.

The accommodation was well out and very clean. Lovely sea view from the kitchen window. The hosts were friendly helpful and responsive. The area was very interesting to explore, lots of nice walks/ hikes and beaches. It felt peaceful and safe. Added bonuses - we heard the cuckoo on the Inishowen loop head walk, and had a super day in Derry city, which is only 40 mins by bus from Carndonagh.
