A Perfect Tropical Getaway at White Phoenix Villa, Koh Samui We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the White Phoenix Villa, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The villa is beautifully designed — modern yet cozy, with an inviting warmth that made us feel instantly at home. Each room was thoughtfully furnished, and the natural sunlight streaming in throughout the day added a bright, refreshing vibe to the entire space. Whether it was lounging by the pool or simply enjoying the peaceful interiors, every moment felt relaxing and memorable. Ken the caretaker was amazing and always smiling and very helpful. One thing that slightly surprised us was the additional charge for water and electricity, which was informed and which was presented in the final bill. It wasn’t a major issue, but it did feel a bit unexpected and was the only blot on an otherwise very comfortable and enjoyable stay. That said, the overall experience was fantastic, and we would still highly recommend White Phoenix

Very good stay! The view from the pool is beautiful, Jean Luc is very responsive in messages to help and he provided us with the coordinates of a taxi van(there were 8 of us) who transported us during the stay.

Best place ive ever been

The villa is in a terrific setting which cannot be faulted and has a well laid out interior. I took the option of arranging a taxi to pick me up from the airport which was a good idea as the villa is a tad tricky to find first time around.

The house is amazing, just like the owners are. We had a very good communication with Pam before, during and after our stay. The house is spacious and lush and it‘s tastefully decorated. The house is secluded in a private estate but still near to beaches and the nearby town. Perfect for family’s or groups up to six friends.

Beautiful retreat with gorgeous views of the forest and ocean. I would highly recommend Christian’s amazing home!

Large apartment with a beautiful view. Chris is always in touch and happy to help. Apartment has everything you need. Definitely worth what we paid. I wish it was cleaner, but that’s ok. Also feel like I was charged too much for electricity, I intentionally used as little as necessary, and still ended up paying for a few days what my friend that lives nearby pays in a month. Not the end of the world. Overall worth it and definitely recommend!

Nice staff who were always available to help. Large villa with enough space for everything as well as regular cleaning, which made the holiday great.

Nice apartment 5 minutes walk to the main street in Choengmon and to the beach. Apartment may need a refurbishment but other than that lovely stay.

The photos didn’t do the villa justice, it was a beautiful villa with very nice views. Most the rooms had a sea front view and beds were very comfy while also all being very spacious (there was 8 of us) Would definitely stay again and recommend highly to anyone. Lee was also very helpful and informative while also being very quick to respond on the air bnb app whenever we needed any question answering like where to rent mopeds and paddles boards. 5 stars!

We had a group of six friends stay here and it was perfect. The view with the infinity pool is incredible, and Theresa and her team were so communicative and accomodating. The location is up mountain/hill of sorts, and so there isn’t much in walking distance, which was peaceful and fine for us but worth flagging. Overall, I can’t recommend the place enough and we are very grateful for the opportunity to stay here.

What an incredible place. If you are looking for some peace away from the throngs of tourists then this is your place. It was a perfect ending to 3 weeks travelling around Thailand with our kids and we didn’t want to leave.

The villa is amazing and fully equipped. We enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave. Simon is a great host and very responsive; he kept in touch before and during our stay to make sure we are having a nice stay. The trees were cut before our check-in which affected our privacy a bit while in the swimming pool. The team provided an umbrella which fixed the problem. We would love to go again next time we are in Samui.

There really aren't words to describe how special Marine's villa is! The photos are beautiful but it is even more special when you arrive. The villa is a little remote and it can be difficult for drivers to find, we had a little problem when being picked up for a boat trip, but Marine and her staff were on hand to help us share the location so that we could be picked up. Whenever we wanted to go out, I was able to text Mr Wat and request a taxi. This was so easy and so convenient and we simply settled the bill at the end of the stay. The villa is so clean and comfortable and as an extra special touch, Marine provided a beautiful cot with bedding for our daughter and many toys including a play kitchen which kept her entertained for hours! Marine and her staff were always on hand to recommend restaurants. Marine also organized a chef to come to the villa and provide brunch for our family one day, the food was amazing! I wholeheartedly recommend this villa, Marine is such a wonderful host

I’m very happy that I could spend a week in Samui in this Villa at Ilona’s resort - very beautiful surroundings in the middle of jungle but very close to fisherman village or beaches and other places. Hosts take care of guests privacy and peaceful vacation which is great! I got also help from John, who managing resort with a taxi to the airport. John also arrange a scooter just few minutes after my check in directly to my Villa so I didn’t have to spend time on that! I would be more than happy to visit this place again! Already miss it!

We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. It is spacious and because of the large windows on both sides, bright and at the same time cosy and has all the necessities. The pool table on the back terrace is very cool. The house is nestled in a beautiful garden. You can relax by the large pool and let your gaze wander over the varied vegetation. The trees, shrubs and plants are very calming. The neighbourhood is quiet and you have your privacy. (The building site on the neighbouring property was only rarely under construction during our stay, so the noise didn't really bother us). Our contact person Iris was very helpful and obliging. Communication went smoothly and questions were answered within a very short time. Transport and the hire of a scooter were also organised without any complaints. Many thanks for everything!

Our 5 nights at Oliver's were an absolute highlight. Incredibly beautiful villa with fantastic views, large pool, 3 beautiful rooms with bath and great living room! We greatly appreciated the communication, openness and flexibility with Oliver. He gave us very helpful tips about activities, sights and good restaurants in the area. All in all, a huge recommendation for everyone!

Just finished my week long stay at Coco Layma and what a treat. The place was clean, modern, comfortable and just as advertised. The staff was great and super friendly, the guy doing the landscaping is working every day keeping the grounds beautiful and Par is an absolute wonder host! The location is within walking distance to the night market and close to many restaurants, local attractions and the beautiful beach. There is even a 7-11 right next door! Go figure ha ha. My stay was near perfect and if I come back to Lamai again someday, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful week Coco Layma!

We had a very pleasant stay. We really enjoyed the beach and pool. We used the kitchen for all are meals except for a few we dined out. It’s near things but down a quiet road so it’s peaceful. Ratchi and her sister were very nice. I had left a pair of leather shoes behind and she mailed them to me.

This was our third time staying at this absolute gem…. View is unparalleled and brings a sense of calm. The villa needs some TLC, but if you can look past some maintenance issues, you will not find a more peaceful villa in Samui with amazing views. Nok and her team do a fabulous job managing the property. Service team are in and out like clockwork. Our only gripe is that the pillows suck. We bought our own. The ac works well in bedrooms (key) but main floor not so much - we would just jump in the pool! Highly recommended if available!

Our stay at Baan Sawan was perfect. The view is breathtaking & the pool & tropical gardens are stunning. The villa is spotless & beautifully maintained — spacious rooms, inviting common areas & everything impeccably clean & cared for. It’s peaceful & private, only 10 minutes from Fisherman’s Village, where you’ll find great restaurants, shops & anything else you need. Star & Levy were the most wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home. Star’s cooking was a highlight — generous, delicious breakfasts each day & a dinner on our first night that was restaurant-quality. Levy’s attention to the garden makes it feel like a tropical postcard. Both were warm, helpful & a real joy to be around — their presence added so much to our experience. Everything about our time here was smooth, thoughtful & relaxing. Anne & Alistair have created something truly special: a luxurious, welcoming home we’ll never forget. We’re so grateful for the experience & can’t wait to return.

This was, hands down, one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. The home was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and located in a peaceful, scenic area — exactly what we were looking for. But what truly made our stay unforgettable were our incredible hosts. Wat and Khun went above and beyond in every way. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home with warm hospitality, thoughtful local treats, and consistent support throughout our stay. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel like honored guests. Equally outstanding were Martin and Karen, who were always just a message away. Their communication was prompt, clear, and incredibly helpful. They provided fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, hidden gems, and must-see spots that made our trip even more special. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this place and crossed paths with such wonderful hosts. If you’re considering booking — do it. You won’t regret it.

Fon's husband greeted us. Was very nice and friendly and went through check-in with us smoothly. Responded quickly and helped with things we needed, such as booking a moped, etc. The villa was extremely nice and as described. Large and spacious room and bathroom, fantastic view of Lamai. We had some problems with power outages and air conditioning that did not work, but they fixed it quickly. The villa is not far from Lamai city center and Lamai beach with many nice shops and restaurants. The only downside is that the villa is located high up and the ground is very steep, here you have to order cars with four-wheel drive. On rainy days, not all Grab mopeds would come up. Otherwise 10/10 and we would have booked again 😊
