Rural and peaceful holiday idyll

Old homestead is rented out this summer. Simple conditions at the mill. With an outdoor toilet, no running water, but there's electricity. It's a road all the way. There is a creek nearby to pick up water and swim + about 300 meters down to Bandakkanalen, where it is possible for fishing and swimming. Passenger boats Henrik Ibsen and MS Victoria pass daily. The cabin is located in the middle of great nature, with trails and wildlife. Half an hour drive to downtown Dalen with shops etc. (Ideally rented on a weekly basis or longer) Here you will find the tranquility!

The interior is simple and harmonious with fine colors and authentic materials that create a warm and intimate atmosphere. Invites peace and quiet. No TV. There are good opportunities for outdoor life in summer and winter; swimming, boating, hiking trails, top tours and skiing/downhill skiing at Gautefall ski resort. Bedsheets, towels, firewood, and laundry are included in the price!

We want to share our amazing cabin in the mountains with you. The cabin is one of the highest located in the cabin area and has a very nice view of Nisservann. On the horizon, the high mountains reign. There are no other cabins on the backside. Here the hiking terrain is available right outside the door in summer and winter. Prepared ski slope is located 20 meters from the plot. You have a nice view of Hægefjell which is a popular hiking destination all year round. Vrådal alpine resort with 18 slopes is located only 500 meters from the cabin.

Log house/cabin

With us, you can find tranquility in the countryside. Here, you can travel back in time in a log cabin built in 1940. The house has been recently renovated and furnished with both new and old interior items. Historical surroundings. If you are lucky you can see wild animals right by the cabin. Nice hiking trails nearby. Tveitgrendløypa (2 min from the cabin) is popular in summer, and has spectacular views of mountains and fjords. Kviteseid is a cozy little town centre with shops and cafes. Swimming opportunities in the fjords during summer.

The cabin has both a heat pump and a fireplace, providing good warmth and coziness. The spacious loft living room with TV, Lego, and games is perfect for the kids. The cabin is perfect for two families. If you are only adults, a maximum of 8 people is recommended.

Come and stay in our restored log cabin! Here, the walls are completely black from the time when rock drills for the mine, nails and horseshoes were forged in here. At our place you can wake up to a view of the young horses or take a walk up into our woods. Maybe you'll stumble upon the old copper mine up in the woods?
