Lory's place is as described, the terrace is fantastic as are the views over the sea and to the horizon. There are a couple of good restuarants close by but you will need a car to fully enjoy the experience. A great quiet place to relax, unwind and get away from everyday life.

Great terraces with view of the sea. Not a lot of restaurants to walk to. Place was very clean and furnished well. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make several dinners there with no problem. We went during shoulder season so the area was very quiet. I’m sure it’s busier during the summer.

My family and I loved our stay at Anita’s place! The apartment looks just like the pictures and is in a fantastic location, extremely close to restaurants, bars, shops and the cable car. Although you can hear people at the nearby restaurants in the evening, they didn’t disturb our sleep and I personally loved hearing people having fun. In addition, we couldn’t hear any noise at all when we were in the second bedroom. We had a rental car and parked in one of the garages outside the medieval gate and took the free shuttle back to the gate and walked to the apartment from there. It was quite easy and not troublesome at all. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

Giuseppe is an exceptional host, very helpful and available. The village of Motta Camastra is very nice and the view is sublime. We were lucky to be there during the 2 days of the village festival so we could enjoy the concerts, fireworks, processions, illuminations and brass band. The apartment is very functional, well located in the village and allows you to enjoy the various visits to do in the vicinity including Etna. We regret not staying longer!

The accommodation is a marvel. Housed in a centuries-old structure, equipped with all comforts, the gem is the bathtub directly in the bedroom. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

We had a good time at Giuseppe and Antonellas place. Enjoyed the view from the rooftop. It is placed in a charming part of town, with bakery and reTearants close by, and the churchbells ringing!

Already miss this lovely place which became our dream Sicilian country home for three nights! Located in a peaceful gardens area, accompanied by lovely doggies, Mathilde's place gave us a feeling of coziness and freedom. I can only regret that our busy programme didn't allow us to meet with her in person but she was ver approachable and easy going. If you are looking for a quite place near to Naxos and Taormina, and a good starting point for Etna - don't hesitate to book this place :)

This place is a little haven. Beautiful views and so relaxing and peaceful amongst the orange trees and the wildlife. Salvo is the perfect host. He cannot do enough for you and is so kind and generous. This is our third stay at Casa di Civi and will not be the last!

I highly recommend this Villa - it surpassed our expectations. The best aspect is Maurizio’s services and excellent communication. He helped organise transfers (even at very short notice), arranged pizza chefs at the villa, and reliably responded to all our requests promptly. Hospitality and care like a 5* hotel. I planned a trip for 4 days for a group of 14 girls in mid-May. As soon as we landed in Catania, we felt we were being personally looked after. Maurizio helped me pre-arrange minibus transfers and kept in regular contact to ensure all was well. Exploring the grounds of the villa was a highlight. We enjoyed fresh oranges from the trees and squeezed large lemons into our drinks. There’s an excellent outdoor gazebo area with concrete ground and tent-like roof surrounded by beautiful trees. The terraces provide beautiful views of the sea, sunset and islands. The kitchen is small but was sufficient to cook for 14 people, with large pots/pans. Bedrooms huge and spacious

We had a friendly and warm welcome with Pina. The house is extremely clean, spacious, comfortable. The outdoor spaces are beautiful. Views of the sea on one side, Mount Etna on the other. Flowers in abundance. Calm and serenity guaranteed. Pina was very welcoming and gave us a lot of information. Even though the house is isolated, we had all the necessary directions to get there. It is a typical house, tastefully furnished and above all filled with attention to make you feel at home. We highly recommend this place!!!

Andreas house is like a home away from home. It is thoughtfully decorated, the lavastonehouse is charming and inside it has everything you need. The ourdoors is beautiful! The view is spectacular, the kids loved the pool and the sorroundings are unimaginable. You have to see it to understand, how wonderful it is. Andrea is the perfect helpful and informative host. The area is peaceful, a bit rural, but that makes it just better.

Our family had a wonderful three-night stay at Roberta and Giorgio’s villa in the sky. We were met by Sophie, who led us directly to the home. The Google maps directions are very inaccurate and will lead you down roads that are impassable unless you have a true 4x4, or not existent at all. We tried a number of times to take routes suggested by Google only to turn around and back-track to the only way in and out, which Google will not show you. Listen to the hosts, memorize that route, and you will be fine. Be aware that it will take about 20 minutes to get into Cefalú from the villa. This is the only drawback so plan accordingly (no quick runs to the supermarket here). You will be rewarded with stunning views of the mountains and the ocean, a modern comfortable super clean home and a great pool to cool down in the summer. Sophie was wonderful and very flexible with check-in and check-out. Highly recommend if you want to get away from the crowds in town.

My family and friends had a simply wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. We chose it because it was a little further off the beaten path and more “authentic old Italian villa” feeling than other places in Sicily. And it delivered exactly the experience we were looking for and more. The villa itself was spacious and yet adorable. Huge old and beautiful windows and doors to bring the outside in. Had everything we needed. The views and outdoor space around the villa were also so lovely and enjoyable. Beautiful little olive orchard. Terraces and outdoor entertaining spaces galore. The game room and pool were awesome for our kids. The pool is unheated, but warm enough to use mid April. But the best part about this villa was the experiences Rosario coordinated for us. We had 2 nights where a chef came over to cook us dinner. The chef turned out to be the neighbor, who cooked the most delicious Sicilian meals we’ve had. She also arranged a visit to a farm and limoncello maker. Amazing!

We had a wonderful week in Patti - Lara’s home was the perfect base to explore the island from. Lara and Martina were extremely helpful, providing lots of recommendations for places to eat and visit. The pool is gorgeous, and there are balconies all around the house so you can chase the sun (or shade) throughout the day. We really can’t recommend this place enough.

As is often the case, the pictures of the view don't come close to the actual view we enjoyed during our stay. Absolutely breathtaking! The apartment was nicely appointed and around a 15 minute walk to the core town activities of Taormina. The owners of the apartment live upstairs and were a joy to get to know. If you love dogs, their sweet Papaya will become your new best friend. Our hosts were very responsive and even brought us some sweet lemon mousse (and shared the recipe!) for us to enjoy. I am quite certain we will be visiting Taormina again, as it is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and I will definitely look to stay here again.

Alba was the perfect host and looked after us so very well. Of note: the Calabrian eggs for breakfast were delicious. The balcony area was the perfect place to relax and enjoy watching the ocean life of Scilla.

This is the best apartment we've ever stayed in, anywhere.. The apartment is spectacular, it's so much better than the photos, it is huge and the quality of furniture and decor is absolutely excellent. The location is perfect, it manages to be just a few steps from the main streets of taormina, yet it's also really quiet and secluded, very rare to find. We were met by Monica, who handles the property for the host, she was absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful, and always available. It was my partners 40th birthday trip, and Monica even dropped off a surprise gift for her on the day, everything was above and beyond expectations. We had the best trip ever and if you are going to taormina, this is the place to stay, without question.

Wonderful accommodation in a good, quiet location in Taormina. The cable car and the center of Taormina are easily accessible on foot. Angelo is a very good host, always proactive and supportive. I would take the apartment again immediately.

Great place to stay with all the amenities you could ask for including ice cold Aircon. The view is amazing and Franchina kept in touch on regular basis to make sure all was fine… we would recommend this to our family and friends to stay here.

Fabio's place was fantastic. The view is unbeatable. Parking, walkable into town and the view, the view is absolutely breathtaking. We loved our stay. My partner and I were traveling around Sicily for a few months, and my dog needed emergency surgery, and Fabio's place was the perfect spot for us to unwind, relax, and the views made it a great place to nurse our little pup back to health. You need a car here, and the location is only 15 minutes outside the city of Catania, perfect launch pad to explore the surrounding areas. Although, we didn't get to meet Fabio, he was always a text away, checking in on us, making sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend. I should also note, my partner and I work remotely, and he was so gracious to add a desk and chair so we both could work comfortably, with the beautiful views. We will for sure be back! Fantastic stay in the heart of Cefalù! The location couldn’t be better — just 30 seconds from the beach (bed rental was €30 for the day) and surrounded by great restaurants and local charm. The apartment was exactly as described, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. Be aware there’s a steep flight of stairs to reach the apartment, but the view from the balcony more than makes up for it. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to soak up the best of Cefalù!

The stay was wonderful. The place is surrounded by greenery and is very quiet, not to mention the breathtaking view! You can reach the archaeological area and the sanctuary comfortably on foot in a few minutes. A few kilometers away by car, you can reach beautiful beaches. Emanuela was really kind and helpful, she gave me a lot of advice on what to do in the area. Surely the property will be my point of reference for when I return to Tindari!

It's a great house. To get there, you have to go up a huge steep road, but Salvatore drives in front of you the first time. When you see the house from the outside, you don't expect how big and beautiful it is on the inside. It has a wonderful roof terrace to sit in the evening. And around the corner is a castle ruin. The village has a bar and a very good restaurant with a beautiful terrace. In just 15 minutes by car, you can be sitting on the beach. And you are in the nature reserve in no time. We had a wonderful time.
