well decorated and comfortable apartment on the first floor, very quiet, overlooking the porch entrance, in a characterful building; we enjoyed the dishwasher and washing machine. Well located with many bike paths, around Barr , and the wine route nearby. Attention the street is closed on Saturdays, market day, to unload luggage. Room to drop off convenient bikes. Free parking is available around the apartment. Warm host, giving us good information about restaurants. Beautiful bath linens, and decent bedding

We vacationed in Alsace for about a week. Barr is a great starting point for many excursions between Strasbourg and Colmar. In the beautiful little town itself there is a lot to discover and bakers, restaurants, etc. are right around the corner. Parking on the opposite side of the street worked great for us, as we were on the road during the day when the parking disc was needed. The apartment is tasteful and designed with a lot of love for detail. The amenities are very good. We were there with our 1 year old twins and had enough space for everything. The building is a beautiful half-timbered house in the old town with narrow and steep stairs. For us, however, it was easy to do with the children in the stretcher. Overall a place to feel good. :) We will be happy to come back when the next vacation in the region is coming up.

Claire and David had a wonderful place! It was just like the photos (better even!). The location is excellent — close to shops, cafes, stores, and access to lots of beautiful hiking trails through vineyards. They also had a full booklet of recommendations and responded quickly. Highly recommend this place/these hosts!

Great stay if you are looking for a charming and authentic experience in the old town city center of Colmar. It was such a great experience to be able to walk right outside your door and literally have the whole city right at your fingertips. Madame coffee is located directly across from the apartment and she serves the most wonderful organic coffee. It was a absolute pleasure to be able to wake up and look forward to that every day right at my doorstep. The flat is lovely, quaint, and has the most comfortable bed. It has been the most comfortable bed of my trip through Alsace so far. The host is kind, responsive, and accommodating. There is no central AC, but the host was kind enough to drop off a couple of fans. Even though the apartment is located on the third floor and does not have a flat, I actually didn’t find the stairs to be cumbersome at all. Other than that the sink in the bathroom is very small and can get the floor wet quickly, but this is a historic building!

Very good welcome from the very friendly owners. Very clean and well well-equipped and quiet. We had a great time. I would recommend it 100%. Thank you for hosting us.

Very nice apartment, clean, functional with large terrace, very quiet and everything is within walking distance. A garage by car and even bikes! We had a great time. Very nice host, if we have to go back to Alsace it's an address to keep. Go to Julie's place, you won't be disappointed! I highly recommend. 😊

The accommodation offers everything needed for a pleasant and relaxed stay, is clean and is at a good distance to the center of Barr to reach it on foot (about 10 min). We did not find the already described noise level of the adjacent stream or the street to be too disruptive and can be effectively controlled by closing the windows and practically no longer perceptible in the back bedroom. It was nice to come back to Alsace and was certainly not the last time.

Absolutely charming apartment, just the thing for design lovers with a lot of comfort, also for small families. Michel and Patricia are super loving and attentive hosts. Obernai was a good starting point for us to explore the beautiful Alsace, the apartment itself is very quiet in the countryside, you can get to the city on foot on a small hike. On site there was all the comfort you could wish for, the terrace is a dream, everything is very tasteful and well maintained. It was a wonderful holiday!

We spent two pleasant nights in this apartment and felt very comfortable. The place was clean, well appointed, and exactly as described. The location is quiet yet well connected – ideal for relaxing and exploring the surroundings at the same time. The contact with the host was very friendly and uncomplicated, also the check-in and out went smoothly. We were traveling with children and even though the apartment is not specifically designed for families, everything worked well for us. Thank you for the pleasant stay – we will be happy to come back!

We relaxed and celebrated our bachelor party here as a group of four. Everything was very clean and the decor is beautiful! We would come back here every time. The jacuzzi is of course the highlight. We had a small problem on the 2nd day to get the jacuzzi, Narek responded within a few minutes and turned the jacuzzi back on. We would really recommend this accommodation to everyone! Thanks for everything :)
