Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Barrie

Stayed here for the long weekend to do a few activities in the area and have to say that the space was amazing. Would 100% recommend anyone coming to barrie to come stay here!

We had such a wonderful time staying at John’s place—it honestly couldn’t have been better. The home was gorgeous, spotless, and felt so warm and inviting. You can tell a lot of care went into making it a space where guests can truly unwind and feel at home. The private pool was a dream. Surrounded by trees and completely peaceful, it felt like our own hidden escape. We spent hours swimming and lounging by the water, and since it was deep enough to dive, it added that extra bit of fun we didn’t expect but absolutely loved. John was an incredible host—super responsive and kind. Any time I had a question, he got back to me right away and made sure everything went smoothly. It was so reassuring to know he was just a message away. If 10 stars were an option, we’d give them in a heartbeat. This stay set the bar so high, and we’re already talking about coming back. Huge thanks to John for making it such a memorable getaway!

Clean , cozy place with all the amenities you'll need. Short walk to a public little beach. Even our Molly enjoyed exploring the fenced in yard and local trails. Cheryl R.

Brigitte's place was amazing! Very beautiful property, very spacious and inviting! Very clean and she has everything labeled which is very helpful! Has everything you could think of and more. We traveled with a group of 4 grown men for a golf trip and it was more than enough space for everyone! Having 2 full bathrooms is a must and the en-suite attached to the master has a beautiful soaker tub. Very beautiful deck with BBQ and comfortable patio furniture and the front yard has a nicely landscaped firepit which we didn't use this time but will next time as we will definitely be back! Great place for families and it is even pet friendly! Brigitte is an amazing host, very attentive and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Nicest Air BnB I've ever personally stayed at! Solid 9/10

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

Wonderful place! We had a great time at Tristan’s condo and loved our time at Friday Harbour. Great restaurants and beautiful walking trails. Highly recommended!

A Perfect Family Getaway – Beautiful Home & Amazing Hosts! Our family had an incredible stay at this beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The house was spotless, well-stocked, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed for a stress-free stay. My teens absolutely loved the spacious living areas, while I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and cozy touches throughout the home. The location was perfect—close to local attractions yet tucked away enough to enjoy some quiet family time. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the beds were so comfortable that we all slept wonderfully. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special, providing excellent communication and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. We truly didn’t want to leave! If you’re looking for the perfect family-friendly getaway, this is the place to book.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic condo in Friday Harbour, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a stunning view that took our breath away. The condo itself was a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. It was impeccably clean, stylishly decorated, and equipped with all the amenities one could wish for. One of the highlights of our stay was the private balcony, where we spent many mornings sipping coffee and evenings watching the sunset over the harbor. The location of the condo is unbeatable. Just a short walk to charming local shops, restaurants, and the marina, it offered the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience. Overall, our stay at this condo in Friday Harbour was exceptional. It’s clear that the owners have put a lot of thought and care into creating a perfect retreat. If you’re looking for a memorable getaway, this place should be at the top of your list!

I rented the villa for a group of 16 ladies for a golf getaway. The owners are excellent to communicate with and responded immediately to any questions or issues we had during and before our stay. The villa was spacious and well equipped with dishes ect to accommodate a large group. Beds comfortable. Unfortunately due to the weather the pool was not opened but some enjoyed the hot tub. Grounds looked like the would be very nice but again due to weather grounds we’re not manicured and grass has not been cut. Would definitely book again and hopefully next time enjoy the outdoor area. Would highly recommend! A very spacious spot with lots of activities and lovely surroundings. The place is very cozy with the wood burning stove and plethora of candles. Annette was very pleasant, responsive and accommodating! We had a great time playing with her dogs in the snow. We will be back!

This property is absolutely beautiful! We had the best time playing tennis and basketball, going in the pool and sauna. The pool is cool which was so nice after getting super hot in the sauna. 10/10 recommend. The inside was beautiful and relaxing, felt like a perfect getaway and we will be back for sure! We had such a peaceful long weekend stay at Ana's! The location was perfect and exactly described; overlooks right into the marina, amazing restaurants just right down the steps and extremely quiet! We didn't hear a single sound from any of neighbours around us. The space looked even more beautiful than the pictures. My husband and I were shocked to see just how incredibly clean the apartment was; not a single speckle anywhere! We were welcomed by a lovely snack basket (which my husband devoured on the first night) and a bottle of wine. Even included amenities in the bathroom which was wonderful since I forgot our toothbrush. The bathroom was so cozy and such a lovely surprise to have a tub. We will definitely be coming back!

Had a great weekend getaway. I was happily suprised that there has been some upgrades outsides since the last pictures were taken. We got everything we were expecting but I’d say overall the whole experience was much better then expected. Kathy was extremely responsive and helpful. I would recommend for anyone looking to stay somewhere with a close drive to the beach and a nice backyard to relax by the water.

My family and I had a great time at Adam’s cottage! Incredible view of the lake, the lake water was crystal-clear. Beach house was well maintained and very clean, the interior decor was stunning! Beach house/garage had all the amenities you will need! The 2 paddle boards and 2 bikes were a great edition! we enjoyed walks/bike rides through the trails in the neighbourhood. We will definitely come back, HIGHLY recommend! Adam was very helpful, insightful, and gave fast replies! Great host!

Kate's retreat is a perfect getaway from the city. Quiet, private, with lots of nature surrounding the cottage. The sauna, hot tub, and fireflies at night - were the extras on top. Thanks so much.

I stayed here for my daughters grade 8 graduation, we absolutely loved it , was quiet, private and relaxing. Would definitely recommend this place.
