The views are stunning! Better than what I expected! Having the little balcony to ourselves, to enjoy the tea in the morning and drinks in the evening was lovely. The vibe is peaceful, secure and safe. Tharaka was available always to help. The morning tea was very nice. Place is spotlessly clean. The climb to the place is challenging but if you can manage it, the views are worth the climb.

We enjoyed our stay very much here! Shehan was very helpful and friendly for whatever we needed! It was extremely peaceful and quiet which we needed. We really enjoyed watching the monkeys play in the trees. It was such a great value for the price! Thank you Shehan for being such a lovely host!

Highly recommend for those who don't mind heat, and love to be in natural green surroundings. This place has a stunning picture window view of an overgrown paddy field in the distance with coconut and banana trees in the foreground. You will enjoy birdsong in the morning and frogs, crickets & lightening bugs at night . The lightening bugs look like stars falling from the sky. It is very quiet and great for meditation. Ceiling fan works well, which you will need. There is not much disturbance in the environment, and you will have your space, however the hosts are on site and there for you if you need them. The kitchen is basic, but will meet your needs. It is a great retreat house overall. The main thing it lacks is cross ventilation, but they may be working on it.

Earthen hut is an amazing, peaceful place. Openness to nature makes this place a beautiful and unique experience. The best part of the stay or magic happened after the sunsets, hut lit up under moon light, watching sky, counting stars, identify planets, patterns was fun, lucky to see few lightening. Little rain and birds chirping sounds was a added therapy to the mind and soul. Rain made the farm lush green and pleasant. The Hut is inside an Cashew orchards, private and safe. Swiggy and local transport are available hence food and transport was not an issue. Auroville and surrounding places should be experienced by people living in the city. We loved our stay in Earthen hut, didn't realise how 3 days passed. We carry lot of sweet memories to cherish and love to visit again.
