The best house I've ever been. Clean, impressive , ideal for large groups , large spaces, very well equipped, stately decor, the stone and wonderful wood staircase. The owner Pascal is very friendly and easy. The touch of Beinvenida is much appreciated. The area and location are great for nature walks and enjoy the peace of mind. The cornbread and croassants of the village's pastry shop, beysay.

The tower is such a special place, truly memorable - like nowhere we’ve ever stayed before. Beautiful views - the best in St Martin - with unique architecture and a peaceful garden that made us feel we were in the countryside despite being in the heart of the town. And Alain was a great host, friendly and welcoming - and with an amazing atelier! We hope we can return very soon.

Our stay was magical! It was amazing waking up to the vista of the beautiful French countryside in the heart of the Bordeaux wine region. Delphine and family were extremely welcoming and made everything super easy, the property is so beautiful and the castle has so much history. We even bought some wine made from their vineyard! An amazing French breakfast was served as well. The hospitality was amazing, we just wish we could’ve stayed longer. Would recommend to anyone for a romantic getaway.

We spent two romantic nights in this charming place. We were very well received and the accommodation was just beautiful and we were very well received by Sébastien and his wife. And it is with great pleasure that we will come back to discover even more of the region. Without forgetting the meal which was really very good and our hosts knew how to adapt to our tastes. I highly recommend everyone to spend a stay at the Château Champblanc.

This was a magical experience! Rather than just look from the outside, we actually slept in a chateaux furnished in period furniture. Although it is a ways from town and requires a car…. It was well equipped for cooking meals, lots of peaceful outdoor space and a beautiful setting. Felt like I’d stepped back in time (but the bathrooms were modern.). The owners met us, showed us around although their English is limited. They were warm and welcoming.

Monique welcomes us with kindness in a beautiful setting. At Monique's, you can stroll outside in the sun or in the shade of the large trees, calm is waiting for you. As for the accommodation, a small cozy nest conducive to rest. Everything was perfect! We'll be back with pleasure.

Perfect stay, everything matches the listing photos and description. The castle is very well suited for a group of friends of 12 people! The plus points of the place: the two stoves with wood provided, the board games and raclette machines to have a good time. I would highly recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at Monique's place at the start of our holiday in Bordeaux. The location is great, a turn off a main road and you are in the private and peaceful grounds of the chateaux, with one side completely to yourself. Monique was very kind to our little daughter and helpful in providing a cot, bath and high chair to make things really easy for us. The grounds are lovely, with a little river running through nearby. The apartment is cosy and comfortable. This would be a great stay for anyone looking to do trips into Bordeaux or the surrounds and easily get back to a quiet sanctuary. A tip from me would be to drive to the Park and Ride at the Hippodrome rather than use the nearest one to the property - the angles there are very tight!

A fantastic family chateau that accommodated 3 families comfortably, and even nicer in real life than in the photos. Large well kept grounds and loads of space to explore. There is plenty to do in the local area. Basic amenities within a few minutes' drive including a great riverside bistro in Daon, the nearby large town of Chateau-Gontier is 15 mins away while Angers is around 40 mins away for everything a city provides. Highly recommended!

It’s a great Castel to have vacation there. Host is so nice that I wrote an article about her in Mandarin. I highly suggest to stay there and enjoy the view there. It’s fantastic.

We were very well hosted. The accommodation was very large with many separate beds, there are no "dormitory" rooms. The gardens with the terrace overlooking the bay is definitely a plus, with no neighbors The charm of this house remains one of the major assets!

Wow! What an amazing place to stay! Alice’s Chateau was the perfect place to stay with family. The house and the surrounding gardens are beautifully presented with fully stocked amenities. I highly recommend Chateau du Grava!

After a warm welcome, we settled in to spectacular scenery, peaceful surroundings, and all the comforts of home. The kitchen is well equipped, the living and outdoor areas have plenty of seating for sharing with friends, and our kids enjoyed visiting with the friendly resident cat. Communication was prompt, and our hosts were available on site but never intrusive. Our only regret is not staying longer. Thank you for a lovely stay!

My family and I had the most wonderful time staying here. The castle is full of history. The rooms are so comfortable and everything is in amazing condition. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

A relaxing weekend with friends that did us the greatest good. The setting of the castle is peaceful, the accommodation divided into 2 accommodations allows everyone to have a space of tranquility and rest due to the distance between the living room and some bedrooms. We all enjoyed taking our shower in the tower bathroom, very atypical! We felt good in the bedrooms. The hosts were welcoming and available. Nius recommend, thank you!

Great accommodation, spectacular views. Heated floor that makes you not go cold, a very intimate apartment and is ideal for a couple retreat. Also the owners are very friendly and helpful, thank you☺️

We had a great time with all our friends. The castle is beautifully decorated with a "wow" in every room, nothing is left to chance, everything is beautiful, even the dishes. The bucolic setting that surrounds it brings great serenity. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful people. We will keep a great memory of this jewel that allowed us the time of a weekend to play the king and queen. I would this place without any hassle

We stayed two nights. It went very well. The check-in time is flexible and despite the late check-in time, Branka waited for us in order to receive us. Branka is very attentive and always available and attentive. Breakfast is perfect. There's nothing missing. Salty, sweet with fresh produce. Nothing else to say.

We stayed at Quimperle's place for a week. The place is very nice, great corners, delicious restaurants and a great playground by the river. From there you could easily make excursions to other cities and beaches. We especially enjoyed the coastal hikes as a family.

We absolutely loved our stay at Château Couffins! Nathalie is very responsive & ensured everything was prepared prior to our arrival. From the moment we drove up to the château, we knew we had arrived at a truly special place. It is located in a peaceful setting near the beautiful city of Bordeaux. Gabriel assisted us with our luggage upon arrival, gave us a tour of this historic family home, & shared several local restaurant recommendations. The château itself is breathtakingly beautiful. The bedrooms, as well as the living spaces, were both spacious & comfortable. We had the most wonderful time at Château Couffins & hope to visit again soon! If you are ever looking for a truly enchanting place to stay near Bordeaux, I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay in the beautiful King suite that Château de la Bainerie!! The castle life was at the rendezvous …. The size of the bedroom and bathroom , the brightness with three large bays , bedding …. Everything was spotless . As soon as you arrive, you feel at home ... at the castle!! Our host is very discreet and always there when you need to . I recommend it. For a very nice weekend experience ….

We had a lovely stay at this authentic Chateau de la Bainerie. Check-in is self-contained and easy; many rooms are open to discover the castle. This one being quite huge the cost of maintenance is I imagine high, so we are happy to have been able to participate humbly with this unusual stay.

Our stay was wonderful. The place is usually run as a b&b and we had the luck of renting the whole place out. All the rooms were immaculately decorated and cleaned. We really loved every aspect of the stay. Mel and her family were welcoming and accommodating, they responded to our every need. Communication was also great. We had an amazing time cooking in the chef's kitchen that is fully equipped and eating in the dining room by the fire. A special place that is run with care and attention to detail.
