Absolutely perfect for us. Get escape away from people and just super relaxing watching the ocean views. The Bach is the typical kiwi bach very easy to feel at home. We will definitely stay again if we can.

David and Lynn are truly delightful! Their accommodations were the perfect place to stay in Tairua. With a warm welcome and a clean, well equipped guesthouse steps from the water we couldn’t have asked for more! We hope to return someday and will recommend their place to others. Highly recommend this airbnb. The location was perfect being close to the beach the Mt and restaurants. Being dog friendly was great as well. We would stay again!

This was my second stay and I very much enjoyed it. The place was clean, warm, we had everything we needed for cooking, it’s close to the beach or the bay and my dog had a blast too! I’ll definitely stay again.

This is such a gem being right on the beach and even in stormy weather a treat to watch surfers and listen to the crashing waves. Simple, quaint and perfect for our family of four would stay here again!

Awesome little apartment. Kids loved the pool and spa. Really close to the beach. Had everything we needed for our family, will definitely be back. Cloe was supper accommodating and helped us immensely.

Short drive from the airport, Close to lots of amazing cafes, the beach, and hot pools. Fantastic views from the top of Mount Maunganui - worth the climb. Hot pools were great to soak away any aches after the climb.

We had a great time at Suzanne’s place. Perfect location with lots of things to do close by. The apartment is very comfortable with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this place and we would love to come back.

We had an amazing four night stay here. The apartment was excellently furnished, the location effectively on the lakefront was fantastic and the outlook across the lake to Mount Tarawera was beautiful. We could not have wished for more. Thank you Murray for being such a great host

Great place to stay on the water with a great view of the river. The unit was spotless and couldn't be faulted. There is an omission from the website as the unit does come with a washer AND dryer (not always easy to find) which we found fantastic having spent time elsewhere beforehand. Both Bronwyn and Kathie were great to talk to and informative on the area and things to do. Definitely recommend our unit (B) which was was upstairs.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Sand Dunes Studio. The studio was just as described very private and quiet. Sue is a great host making us feel very welcome. The beach is just a short walk away and is lovely. We look forward to visiting again.

We loved our stay here. The place was extremely clean and furnished beautifully. The bed and sofa were super comfortable. The beach was just down the road and easy to get to. There is an also fire pit and bbq. We are definitely going to try and stay here again !

Thanks Mary offering this great location and let us store the luggage in her house after we checked out the apartment. Mt maunganui is a tourist spot and there are plenty of things to do. If you like nature, can go swim, climb up the mountain, enjoy sunrise and sunset. During winter time, there are also plenty of tourist visit. During weekend is quite noisy and crowded. Even stay in the indoor also have the noise from the street and hot pool opposite. Also, there are some wake up alarm noise from the nearby apartment that also waked me up and disturbed my sleeping. Overall, the apartment is very good and there are great nature environments nearby!

Our stay at the bach was a balm for the soul. Evenings brought a cozy warmth as we gathered by the crackling fire, the sea's lullaby a constant, soothing backdrop. The bach itself was a haven of peace, a perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life. We explored the shoreline with leisurely walks, the salty air invigorating our senses. The provided water toys added a playful dimension, turning the sea into our personal playground. The proximity to local restaurants meant we could indulge in fresh seafood and local delicacies without venturing far. Each meal was a delight, made even more special by the friendly, welcoming nature of the locals. Their warmth and genuine hospitality added a special touch to our stay, making us feel truly at home. It's a place where time slows down, and memories are made.

The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The view was simply perfect and we would love to return. Highly recommend!
