Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bayfield County

We arrived at the house in sub zero temperatures and were very happy to be inside the house with the wonderful radiant heated floors. Warm and cozy! Comfortable beds and warm blankets made for restful nights. The view of the bay is beautiful. Moon rising over the horizon reflected on the ice . We heard Great Horned Owls hooting in the distance. Next visit we hope to come in the summer or fall to walk around more and see the lake. Thanks again!

It was a lovely treat spending 4 days in Debby’s little cottage. It is right by the beach, which can be accessed anytime. There is an artesian water fountain a 3-minute drive away from the cottage, which was a very nice surprise. We will definitely be coming to the cottage again 🙂

We really enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable, we watched a DVD she had, there were lots of interesting books, we could walk to downtown, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals there. We felt right at home!

Scott was an amazing host. His house is so unique and he literally has everything you'd need in it for cooking, entertainment, and relaxation. The view of the lake from the house is beautiful and located within minutes of some of the best fish fry and smoked fish I've ever had. Would definitely come back again!

Wonderful place to stay while up in the North Woods, only 30 minutes to Ashland and 50 to Bay Field. Iron River had restaurants that were actually pretty good and I am overall very happy with the stay. Perfect place for the four of us.

This is a great little house within easy driving distance to the many nearby state parks. Very clean, with nice little extras thrown in. Very easy check in and check out. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Towels were so thick and soft I really wanted to take them all home with me - but I resisted. I will say, if you are someone that likes having a topsheet on your bed - you will need to bring one. Not everyone likes the same night temperature setting and it was either have the top quilt on or nothing. I would happily book again next time I am in N. Wisconsin. Thanks for a great stay!

Pete and Tanya were very helpful for our stay. It was supposed to be a snowmobile trip but the weather quickly took a turn. They were very helpful in letting us know the conditions and suggested alternatives.

David was a great host very accommodating. We stayed a extra night and he was very helpful. Would stay here again If Im in the area

Hobby Haven was more than we expected! It truly felt like vacation as soon as we pulled up. The location has great access to main roads with a nice beach and hikes nearby. Sandra made us feel welcome immediately and gave us great suggestions in Cornucopia. It turned out to be the best location. Hobby Haven itself is SO cute! Incredibly clean and very well laid out. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and it feels very private. Cannot recommend this listing enough!!

Very clean, walking distance to everything, good communication with host. Loved that there was enough toilet paper, shower needs, towels. Washer and dryer availability. Enjoyed our stay.

This is a great space for a group! The pictures don't clearly show how spacious it is. Plenty of room to make meals, lounge, relax in the sun room, etc. It's right off a hiking trail and has beautiful views. Very close to town and walking distance to a delicious little bakery.

We stayed in Jim's and Pearl's Fedora suite and had a wonderful time! Their place was clean, comfortable, and relaxing and was right on the lake. We really enjoyed spending time each day either sitting on the porch or down by the lake, reading or watching the various boats going by and using the firepit. We found the location extremely convenient, only a couple of minutes from Bayfield. Jim and Pearl were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always willing to chat or answer questions about the unit or the area. We would love to stay there again! If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

Kaye’s place was great. Smooth check in, just like the instructions said. The place is just like the pictures. Walkable to many spots for food or drinks. If you can’t walk everything is less than a 5 minute drive. Peaceful & quiet neighborhood. It’s about 1-2 blocks from Lake Superior can walk over to watch sunset. Would book again. Parking right in the driveway.

Comfortable, clean second floor condo a short drive from Bayfield with wooded view from kitchen window. Working jacuzzi and adequate cooking supplies. Jon was quick to respond to questions.

Jon's place was great for me and my wife with our 2 small dogs. we were the first renters of the season and there wasn't any coffee, so Jon immediately gave me a $15 refund. great directions for hiking trails, nice quiet place and great location for visiting the Apostle islands. we would definitely stay there again.

This place was incredible!! Location was top notch, the amount of beds provided a ton of flexibility for us, the living spaces were lovely, and the view and the deck were amazing! Beyond that, staying here was extremely comfortable. Thoughtful to have extra blankets on the cold days, fans in the bedrooms for sleep, a fresh sponge and hand towels, all the essential kitchen equipment and it wasn’t overused, there were extra linens/paper towels/TP/trash bags, and the space felt well taken care of. This felt like someone’s home and definitely we plan to go back. 10/10 would recommend!

Cozy and comfortable condo a few blocks from every thing in Bayfield. Very clean everywhere, and a comfortable bed. Easy walk to the ferry, restaurants, and local hiking trails. Many cool shops and restaurants to explore. Beautiful views and colors in mid-October. Amanda was very helpful and responsive in fixing a TV connection problem. Would definitely recommend!
