The old school house is an amazing place in an amazing location. The photos don’t do the property or location justice. The property is exceptionally comfortable and well equipped. Best welcome pack ever! The fact that there was a fantastic sea food cafe and shop with 100 yards or so of the house was an unexpected bonus. A memorable few days.

I had a beautiful three night stay here. The accommodation, I think, is better than the pictures make out. The view is incredible. I felt immediately at home and could have stayed for longer. The space is comfortable, and has all the amenities listed. Plus the shower is great. A great base for exploring the island. The only thing I would say is that it is quite tricky to find. You might want to message the host before you arrive to ensure that you have directions that will take you to the accommodation. That being said, Joanna was *very* helpful, very responsive and helped me find my way to the right house! Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

We had an excellent week staying at the Old Shop. The accommodation was very comfortable and was finished to a very high standard. Everything we could have needed was supplied. Robin & Michelle were very friendly and welcoming. I would certainly recommend this accommodation and if, or when, we return to Uist we will certainly try to stay at the Old Shop again.

Really enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. Everything was as described and it had everything we could possibly need and more. Beds were very comfortable, place was spotlessly clean and bathtub was perfect for a luxurious soak. Good base for exploring the Uist isles and beyond. We bought seed for the bird feeder and enjoyed watching greenfinch feeding. All in all it was a perfect stay and we would definitely recommend and return.
