Excellent stay at this peaceful, well-equipped and well-decorated place! The hosts are very friendly and responsive! Heated and clean pool! Excellent location: just steps from Lake Lacanau! Recommended without so much as a second thought!

We had a great time at Sylvain's place. The house is very nice with a swimming pool and activities available (petanque court, table tennis, plancha). Ideal if you want to enjoy a peaceful house while being close to Bordeaux. Sylvain was responsive to our requests and did everything to facilitate our arrival.

Very good welcome from the owners, more pleasant than a key box, tastefully decorated and functional accommodation. Pretty garden. Quiet space.

Our party (5 couples) stayed at the property looking for an authentic experience of French food and wine, and hoping for a bit of rustic luxury sprinkled on top and this place did not disappoint. Everyone was blown away by the house's beautiful interiors, exteriors and amazing views. The house had everything we needed (and more). We loved the large outdoor table where we could all sit comfortably for a social breakfast and enjoy the stunning vistas. The location of the house is superb, surrounded by beautiful views and very peaceful. The bike ride to St Emillion took us along quiet country roads, meandering past many exquisite chateaus and vineyards. Finally, special mention to our wonderful host Ellie who couldn't do enough for us. Great recommendations, excellent local knowledge, extremely helpful and thoughtful, super fast to respond to any messages, and really flexible and generous.

Our stay at Remi’s place was beyond expectations. The property is beautiful (even better than photos) & all of the amenities are right where you need them. Our check-in time was flexible & were met at the gate when we arrived. Our room was in pristine condition, the kitchen was beautiful & we loved the little porch area where we could have our morning coffee. And the saltwater pool is amazing; perfect temp & all. We would definitely stay here again in the future & recommend it to anybody looking for a peaceful stay in the beautiful town of Portets.

Good large house overall - good spot for a family. The location is very residential so not much to do around and not super close to the city centre by foot. The parking is good for 1 car so if you are multiple families it may be a bit tough. The house was clean, good appliances and amenities in the kitchen so perfect to cook. The outdoor space is nice and adds a plus to the house. The host is not super fast to respond and the check in is very late so to note if you have children as you can’t enter before 5pm. Very kids friendly and enough space for families to be around and feel at ease.

Nathalie and Hubert were very kind and friendly. The place was pristine, beautiful and relaxing. You have to hire a car to visit places in Bordeaux but Hubert provided many great suggestions of local wineries and things to do. He was always responsive and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Bordeaux.

Emma's place is stunning and our group had an amazing stay there! We were a group of 7 adults and 3 children and we had everything we could have wanted and needed at Emma's place. The kitchen is well-equipped and the garden is wonderful for outside dining and for the children to roam around. We really didn't want to leave! Emma was so kind to help us with our constant questions - she is the perfect host. Thank you for having us, Emma!

I stayed here with in a group of 4, and I must say we very much enjoyed our time. Jules was very responsive to all queries, and his house was perfect for our time in Bordeaux. Jules also very accommodating to our requests - he is most definitely a super host! I would recommend Jules' house to anyone looking to stay in Bordeaux for a weekend.

We had a perfect week in Emilie's cottage. The apartment was very nice and the estate very beautiful and peaceful. We greatly enjoyed the pool and its beautiful sun terrace. Our little cat was also delighted to enjoy the garden. Thanks to Émilie for her welcome and good advice!

The accommodation is a little gem in a green setting. Beautiful quiet and peaceful garden where you can chat with a very talkative and cuddly cat or meet chicks on the go, looking for a few things to eat. The hosts are attentive and caring and leave, scattered throughout the house, plenty of little touches. Thanks again to Sophie for all this.

It is a nice apartment, we enjoy the staying, it is half an hour to go to the city center by car.

Our stay here was wonderful. The house is roomy, nicely decorated and quite new. There is a very large laundry with washing machine and drying racks (no dryer), a large kitchen and meals area, two large bedrooms and a large outdoor area. The air conditioning is efficient and there is another air conditioning unit in the loft bedroom. The bedrooms have shutters to keep out the light and the beds and pillows are comfy. The TV is a smart TV and there are wineries everywhere in the area. As others have mentioned, there isn’t a toilet in the upstairs bathroom. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are narrow and steep and this may pose a problem if you need a toilet in the middle of the night. Also, as the apartment is a little remote and has numerous windows at ground level, one may feel exposed. The windows are double glazed and the lock is strong but we closed the driveway gate to feel more secure. It was quiet and peaceful and we loved our stay.

I had a great weekend at this place! The place is faithful to the description, very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The setting is quiet, perfect for relaxing, and the host's welcome was great: responsive, available and attentive. Special mention for the Nordic bath which was really a big plus — a real moment of relaxation in the middle of nature. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

Perfect house! Impeccable cleanliness, more equipped than necessary, there was everything, especially in the kitchen... a joy for the gourmets that we are! Great bedding. Very good baby equipment. Very quiet environment, the view of the vineyards from the kitchen is exotic. Very responsive host, an asset. In short, we will be happy to come back if we pass through the area again.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. It was spacious and the quality of the bedding was a standout. Our family really enjoyed the Scandinavian experience with the sauna and the spa - a must visit for the winter! And special thanks to Stephanie for the warm welcome and being helpful before and during our stay.

We had an extraordinary stay at Marie's. She was of a rare and precious kindness and kindness. We even had some explanations about the heritage history of this beautiful house, a perfect weekend. The terraces and views of the Dordogne are absolutely magnificent and the interior spaces are very beautiful and well-equipped. We 100% recommend the place and Marie's kindness contributed to the success of our event.

We had a very good stay, quiet. At Sylvie and Philippe's. The house is very nicely decorated and recently renovated. Sylvie responded quickly to our questions and was able to give us advice in terms of visits to make in the surroundings. I recommend this house for a stay in the Médoc! We'd love to go back.
