Do Water Sports From a Modern Beach House With a Hot Tub

Awaken in a handcrafted driftwood bed refreshed and ready for a day at the seaside. The main floor has double-height ceilings and large windows where light cascades in to illuminate a modern, airy space. Open sliding doors to let in fresh ocean air. Sand Dancer was built in 2017 and shares communal grassy areas with its neighbours. There’s a South facing private deck with a hot tub. Most of the neighbours are also holiday homes; respecting each other’s space is important. A car is recommended to access the area’s places of interest, although trains & buses run locally too. A visitor folder gives lots more information on outings. Although we live some distance from the house, we are available by phone. We also have local support from our excellent house keeping team. The house is in Beadnell, an unspoilt fishing village on the Northumbrian coast, close to the shops in Seahouses. Bottlenose dolphins are often seen during boat trips. The area is rich in imposing castles, Neolithic rock art, and outdoor activities. The best way to see as much as possible & make the most of your visit, is by car. Sky TV full package is provided Smart TV. Cycles to be kept in the secure outside store. No cycles in the house. Hot tub to be used as guests’ folder explains. (Not to be used with fake tan) Private deck area is not suitable for disposable BBQs as they would damage it (made from recycled materials). However, the beach or paved area is perfect for them! Please do not allow children to use the smart lock. Repeated incorrect entries will disable it for a time & can set off the tamper alarm. A basket of logs is provided & additional logs may be bought in Seahouses or The Veg Hut, Drythrottle Cottage, Charlton Mires NE66 2TJ (07834409422).

Marracove is a brilliant place to start your exciting adventures around Northumberland. Marracove is perfectly situated in the small village of Beadnell. It is 2 mins walk from the beach connecting to near by villages, Seahouses and Bamburgh. It is also 5 mins walk from the beach that connects with nearby Newton by the Sea. If you want to have a local meal then the local pubs are 3 mins walk away. Dogs are welcome at Marracove however their is an extra charge of £10. There is no smoking/vaping.

Externally there is a totally enclosed rear lawned garden, an integrated single garage, and off street parking. Within 10-15 minutes stroll there are three excellent pub/restaurants and a well stocked village shop.

Beadnell Bay Cottage, located in the beautiful village of Beadnell. The village has fantastic local pubs and restaurants. This is an excellent base with Beadnell bay and the stunning Northumberland coastline just a 5/10 minute walk away. One well behaved dog allowed. Although the living space is all on one level there is a step to get into the cottage and into the garage to access the garden. Message me if dates not available

Beautiful family holiday, in a beautiful location. I have never been to such a stunning air b&b, the view from the house is so relaxing. I especially loved the window seat. Suited us a family of 4 brilliant, Lucianda's communication and recommendations were great, the sandy beach is a 10 minute walk and has stunning views. The coastal path routes are well worth a walk! We will definitely be returning to Northumberland and were sad to leave

Driftwood Cottage Coastal Escape

A beautiful cottage in a stunning and peaceful location. There were glorious views at both the front and back of the cottage. The fabulous garden was an added bonus. We were lucky to have very nice weather so we were out walking every day. Although we were surrounded by fields it was only a short walk to the beach so we had the best of both worlds. We had a relaxing retreat at the end of the day and could choose to have an invigorating shower or a soak in a very large bath. The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped. We didn’t need to use the log fire but it would be a very cozy addition on cooler evenings. The sun room at the front of the property is a great space to enjoy a coffee and relax.

Really lovely place and so unique. Location is perfect and so private. Facilities are good considering they are basic and the shower was great. Very clean. Could do with a fresh lick of paint but overall an amazing stay, we already want to rebook.

We had a lovely stay at Baywatch with our dog Billy in June. The flat is lovely- very peaceful and had everything we needed. Very close to Beadnell Bay beach, just a few minutes walk and we took Billy there every morning. The weather was great so we even had a swim with him! The Landing bar and restaurant is a minute's walk away and the village is only 0.6 miles away by the footpath past the caravan site and new houses. The walk to Seahouses along the beach is nice and takes under an hour. Craster Arms is dog-friendly and has a lovely beer garden and good food. Breakfast good at Saltwater cafe. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Will definitely be returning later this year!

The house is spacious has an airy feel to it & short of nothing the host is so contactable when we first booked with just a few questions I had the response time was excellent. Walk in bags down & start your break - I highly recommend this host & property.

We loved our stay at The Granary. The location was ideal, 2 minutes walk to the beautiful beach, and centrally located for visiting other parts of the Northumbrian coast. The cottage is charming and nicely furnished. It was immaculately clean when we arrived, and very welcoming with fresh flowers on the table. Perfect place to bring our dog.
