From the house, on foot or by bike, discover the banks of the Loire, the vineyard, the oak and chestnut forests.

Between Le Mans and Angers, the Domaine des Fontaines welcomes you to its "Le Cocon" cottage. Newly renovated, this former country house with all the comforts of 60 m² welcomes you for your getaways, vacations in the countryside, retreat and teleworking in the countryside or work in the region. Le Cocon offers two comfortable bedrooms, a living room-kitchen open to a green terrace and overlooking the Parc des Fontaines, consisting of a rose garden, a plant maze, a pond and forests.

Beautiful chic, air-conditioned & spacious duplex

This former artist's studio, which belonged to the photographer of the city of Saumur at the beginning of the 20th century, makes this place unique with its glass roof over 4 meters high, overlooking the oldest church in the city. The apartment is located in the hyper center, next to free parking, on a pedestrian street known for its many restaurants. This accommodation will allow you to access the Château on foot via the banks of the Loire or by walking the streets of the old town.

The accommodation includes a bedroom, a living room, a fridge, microwave and a bathroom. Note that there is NO hot plate. Discover the land art, the botanical trail of about 30 minutes, hikes from 1 to 4 hours or more with the GR at the foot of the castle. Dining at the Caves de Marson, a delicious troglodyte restaurant with fouées (1-min walk). Visit the Cadre Noir 5 minutes away. 10 minutes from the Loire, Saumur and its many tourist attractions.

The pavilion, independent of my house, overlooks the Loire. It's great for a couple's getaway. It is ideal as a base for exploring the roads and paths of the Loire, to visit the countless known castles or lesser-known residences that line it. You will never forget the sunrises over the Loire in the early morning in one of the most beautiful villages of the wild Loire (halfway between Angers and Saumur).
