Welcome to our El Cense du Bergie cottage. You will stay in a rural gîte, completely renovated and located in the heart of the countryside, on the corner of a 400 ha wood, in a working farm. This gîte for 4 people, with 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed; gîte decorated with 60 m2 of frescoes; all comforts, 80 m2 living space with a terrace of 20 m2, all on the ground floor (living room, kitchen, Italian shower and 1 bedroom accessible to PRM). A sofa bed can accommodate a 5th person.

We offer you our magnificent 10-person gite, with large garden and natural swimming pool, perfect for group vacations or family celebrations. The building dates back to the 17th century and was completely renovated in 2022. It is located in the charming country village of Solre St Gery, a 10-minute drive from the Eau d'Heure lakes and the Val Joly water sports complex. Plenty of walks in the surrounding area, including the Avesnois Natural Park and the Chimay forest.

We welcome you to this charming 25 m2 studio where you have everything at your disposal. Although it is under the roof of our home, it is completely independent with the possibility of parking your vehicle right in front. You have the freedom to walk around the castle moat. This accommodation can be used for business trips with a weekly or monthly rate, cleaning and sheets included, 10 minutes from Renault Electricity Maubeuge and 20 minutes from Framatom Jeumont.

Castle tour at Lake Barbençon

Located in Hainaut, about fifteen minutes from the Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure, Barbençon is recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia. You will have the opportunity to sleep in an old watchtower (from the 17th century) completely renovated and equipped. You will be soothed by the lake (circuit of about 1 km) as well as the tranquility that reigns there. You will also discover the current medieval castle, its old entrance gate and its old stables.
