We enjoyed the cottage very much. There were 5 of us. Everything was great!

The landlords are very friendly and helpful. Room is well equipped. The bathroom is new and nicely decorated. The terrace is covered, so you can sit there even in bad weather. The only downside is that the kitchen can only be reached via the terrace and you have to walk a little through the rain in bad weather. We only had nice weather and everything worked out.

The cottage is located in a well-kept small residential park on the edge of the small village of Tuitjenhorn. The booking, communication as well as the journey and check-in via key box were hassle-free. The cottage welcomed me and my dog freshly cleaned, there were chilled drinks in the fridge as well as a beautiful bouquet of roses on the dining table for reception. Decor is modern and well-equipped. The associated garden, along with a terrace and wonderful garden furniture, invites you to linger in good weather. Unfortunately, the very narrow,open and steep spiral staircase for my dog was insurmountable so we could not use the beautiful box spring bed in the upstairs bedroom (no dog does not sleep in bed but next to it) really a pity. In the ground floor children's room, it slept pretty well on the lower wide double bunk bed. Unfortunately, there were many road closures during the travel season and very long distances to get to the beach.

Beautiful and comfortably furnished apartment. It has everything you need. We felt very comfortable in the cottage. The host Rose was very helpful and straightforward.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Villa Summer! The villa itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The backyard was a real highlight – large, lush, and peaceful, with a private forest, sauna, jacuzzi, outdoor shower, and a full outdoor kitchen. It felt like our own little wellness retreat. The neighborhood in Schoorl is equally wonderful – very serene and quiet, yet just a short walk or drive to charming cafés and excellent restaurants. It’s the perfect blend of nature and convenience. Another great plus: the villa has an EV charger, which made things super easy for us. Highly recommend Villa Summer to anyone looking for a calm, beautiful, and well-equipped vacation rental in the Schoorl!

We had a great family vacation. Great home with plenty of room for all. From there you could easily reach everything by bike. The contact was very reliable and quick, with sufficient information. We will be happy to come back.

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful house!! It was so wonderful to be at a kid friendly home in a quiet small town that still has easy access to the beautiful city of Amsterdam. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun two day stay. Bram was responsive and helpful anytime I asked questions, and we loved using their bikes to get around town!! Would definitely stay here again, thank you Bram!

Great check-in, and beautiful property!

We have just spent 10 days in Jaxquline's beautiful house in Bakkum. The house totally matches the photos. Beautifully equipped, we didn't miss anything, inside and out. Our 4 children and teenagers have all found their account. (soccer goal, trampoline, bikes available, one TV in each room, as well as sono speakers.) Each room has its charm, the bedrooms are very nice and the kitchen huge! Surrounded by greenery, the house is bathed in nature, the forest and the dunes with the sea 15 minutes by bike. We were greeted by Jacqueline's in-laws who live right next door. Very nice and always willing to recommend tours to do or a glacier to absolutely try to do. We highly recommend the house. We had a fantastic stay from check-in to check-out. The instructions were clear, and whenever we had any questions, the hosts were easy to reach and very helpful. The house was even bigger than we had imagined, which was a wonderful surprise. We had a fantastic weekend—thank you all for making it such an enjoyable experience, and the Jacuzzi and pool perfect temperature.

We found everything as described and had a splendid time! Especially the fence around the garden was a relief for the parents amongst us. All the small water channels could have been a great danger. :) our kids enjoyed the garden, the playground and everything else a lot! And us grown ups the house and it’s amenities. Thanks!

This home was amazing! We enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning. It’s great retreat from staying in Amsterdam and easy to travel into the city via bus for the day! The historic features of the home were so interesting. Shana was a great resource when we needed advice. She even came by to meet us and took pics of our family for us. The added dinner was super tasty. I highly recommend this location!

The accommodation is in a unique location overlooking the beach and North Sea. It’s tastefully furnished and thoughtfully equipped. Even has its own private fitness equipment and there is also the use of an indoor pool. Everything was immaculate and every detail from the cozy bedding to the modern amenities made our stay exceptionally comfortable. Luna’s mother went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us some outstanding local tips. It would be a perfect location for a larger gathering as Luna also runs a Beach House opposite. Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway, an active beach holiday or simply a beautiful place to relax and unwind, this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best of IJmuidens coastal charm.

We spent time with 2 couples and a dog at Petra's. The accommodation is in a bungalow park. It is very quiet and the fenced garden is a dream for the dog. The apartment is well equipped and furnished with love in detail. Petra is nice and always answered questions quickly. We would recommend the apartment.

We had a great stay. Everything was clean and the house had everything you need. We especially liked the outdoor area and the proximity to the beach.

Jeannette and Peter are very sweet hosts! We had good and friendly communication,...They gave us many tips. Check-in could even be done earlier than expected. We would book the house in the beautifully landscaped park again at any time.

We (8 friends) stayed in the cottage for three nights. It is of the amenities as described in the photos and was very large enough for us. The living room and garden is spacious and very nice to linger. The location is also very good as the beach is a short walk of 15 min. However, check-in was not completely self-explanatory, as the key had to be picked up and dropped off in a shop about 10 minutes by car from the accommodation, which only resulted from the email of the provider and nothing from the Airbnb listing. In addition, it would have been good if dust had been wiped through the accommodation again beforehand, as the corners were sometimes very dusty and with cobwebs. Otherwise, we had everything in a few very nice days in the accommodation 😊
