My artist’s studio is situated in Berlin’s trendy Prenzlauer Berg neighbourhood, on the first floor, with a balcony and large French windows overlooking a quiet, very light-filled courtyard. The studio is a separate part of my flat with its own entrance. The view looks out onto an old, beautifully renovated factory building with lofts and studios. My studio is very spacious at 40 square metres, featuring a double bed, a king-size bed and a kitchenette with everything you need for cooking and making yourself at home. The flat has a bright hallway and a luxury bathroom with a shower, bath and underfloor heating. The studio is approximately 50 square metres in size and is tastefully furnished with many personal touches – a mix of modern and antique. You’ll have high-speed internet. For hot days, there’s a large, portable, high-quality Turbo Silence fan available. The area is very popular; there’s a large supermarket just 2 minutes away, open until midnight. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find many small, particularly charming cafés, international restaurants, boutiques, lovely second-hand shops, galleries and markets. There are bikes available to borrow outside the house, so you can explore the city on well-maintained cycle paths. Ten minutes away is a large park for walking or jogging. Fifteen minutes away you’ll find the famous Mauerpark with its many attractions, including the much sought-after flea market at the weekend. My street is situated in a quiet location, right between two major roads, with excellent transport links to Berlin Brandenburg Airport from the main station via a high-speed train. The M10 tram runs 24 hours a day, taking just 20 minutes to reach the main station – it’s a 5-minute walk from my place (Danziger Straße). Incidentally, the M10 passes through all the trendy districts such as Mitte, Wedding, Prenzlauer Berg, Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg, as well as the famous East Side Gallery. Just a 10-minute walk away are the famous shopping streets Kastanienallee and Alte Schönhauser Allee. Lots of young people from all over the world live here. You’re sure to feel right at home in my flat.

It’s on the first floor, the apartment has 100 sm, has two massive rooms, which are connected, a big kitchen and dining area, plus 2 bathrooms. It’s in the center of Berlin, a 1 minute walk to Rosa Luxemburg Platz and a 5 min walk to Hackescher Markt or Alexander Platz. The street is full of little shops, lovely restaurants and bars, but still quite and not too crowded.
