What a great place - peaceful, spacious and private with everything you could ever need to make the time you spend at your home fun and relaxing. It did feel like a home from home. Olivier was helpful and responsive even months before the holiday and always replied within an hour. We had to drive all the way from Calais so explained that we’d be checking in late, he was very understanding even when this time got later and later, eventually arriving after 11pm Olivier still greeted us with a smile and a full tour of all of the facilities and living area, and remained helpful throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend L’Atelier to anybody, and would come back in a heartbeat. Merci Olivier!

Maria, Mark and their daughter were always attentive, friendly, warm and welcoming. The gite had everything you could think of and was perfectly located for biting the numerous châteaus in the region. pool and outside space was perfect!

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

Beautiful setting, peaceful and quiet. Great base to explore the area, but you'll need a car! Rauzan 5 minutes down the road has everything you'll need, bakery, butchers, groceries and pizza restaurant! A great place to relax, would recommend to anyone.

Quiet stay in the countryside with background music, river singing. Great for stays in a large tribe. The house is spacious, very well equipped, moreover with taste. Nothing is missing and Tony and his wife are very friendly, available and attentive. Canoes allow a safe walk to discover the environment for all ages.

Our party (5 couples) stayed at the property looking for an authentic experience of French food and wine, and hoping for a bit of rustic luxury sprinkled on top and this place did not disappoint. Everyone was blown away by the house's beautiful interiors, exteriors and amazing views. The house had everything we needed (and more). We loved the large outdoor table where we could all sit comfortably for a social breakfast and enjoy the stunning vistas. The location of the house is superb, surrounded by beautiful views and very peaceful. The bike ride to St Emillion took us along quiet country roads, meandering past many exquisite chateaus and vineyards. Finally, special mention to our wonderful host Ellie who couldn't do enough for us. Great recommendations, excellent local knowledge, extremely helpful and thoughtful, super fast to respond to any messages, and really flexible and generous.

Had a wonderful stay at this home. We had six people and there was plenty of room. The house is very clean and had great lighting-loved the windows. In a very peaceful area and felt very secure. My husband liked the walking trail. Views were awesome and close enough to Bordeaux to pop in to see the sights.

We had a great stay at Philippe and Claire's. They are very attentive and pleasant hosts. The listing is as described. Our daughter was afraid of one of the dogs, Philippe was very understanding and accommodating which allowed our daughter to enjoy her stay (and we thank Philippe for that). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. Such a fantastic house to have a holiday. Amazing amenities including the amazing outdoor cooking/bbq space we used a lot. The pool and huge amount of pool games and other games was amazing. The house was really lovely and well located to be able to visit St Emillion, Pomerol, Libourne and other areas quickly. We definitely plan to go back!
