This beautiful and completely private, romantic chalet, with a view, in the middle of nature, is facing south. It is located near the river Almache. Located one and a half kilometers on each side, are 2 typical villages, 2 sub-municipalities of Daverdisse : Porcheresse and Gembes. From here you can also easily go to Bouillon, Dinant, Le Tombeau Du Géant, the bookstore Redu, Givet, etc. Nearby you can find various types of restaurants : from very ordinary, where you can walk in with your slippers or boots, to a Michelin star. The chalet is very easily accessible and yet lies in the middle of nature. Beautiful walks in the woods and/or in the sun as soon as you step outside the door. For mountain bikers, too, it is a true paradise with the many marked routes. The chalet itself is cozy and everything is available to cook for and make a romantic evening, by the fireplace or the fire bowl outside under an incredible starry sky. De-stressing, enjoyment, nature, relaxation, conviviality and romance are the key words here.

Our family of 7 has spent a very pleasant time with Frederica and Philibert. Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bathroom and one also has a toilet in the bedroom. The other 3 bedrooms share 2 toilets. The kitchen is modern and contains all the necessities to prepare an extensive meal, which we did not do because there are countless restaurants in the area. We had breakfast on the spacious terrace by the outdoor kitchen. The host and hostess were extremely helpful and attentive. Le chateau des Fayais is 100% recommended! Thank you very much Philibert and Frederica!

If you are looking for a cozy weekend retreat in the Belgian Ardennes, look no further. Me and my girlfriend spent a lovely long weekend here. Communication with the host was easy and fast. We also had a lot of privacy because the rest of the building was unoccupied at the time. The cottage is thoughtfully decorated and has a very authentic yet original style. It has a nice big wood oven which adds to the romantic atmosphere. In winter the place does take a while to warm up because of the authentic thick stone walls. Be sure to check out this listing. You will have fun!

Very nice cottage with plenty of rooms, spacious living space and pleasant garden. Our first impression was also immediately 'wow, nice house'. The pool table is a great asset and was used daily. The neighborhood is also beautiful. We took a walk in the woods behind the cottage, did the famous 'ladder walk', kayaked on the Semois and visited the castle of Bouillon. Thanks to the many options nearby, this was one of the best weekends we did with the group of friends. The only downside is that the BBQ is a bit small for a house of 15 people.

Amazing place to stay! The views are beautiful and very private. Laurent is always helpful if you need something! Not much to do in the surrounding area unless you drive a bit. But that is not an issue because it’s hard to leave such a nice spot anyway ;) Minor sidenote: the kitchen is missing some basic tools for cooking/bbqing and the chairs are a bit sketchy to sit on. 5/5 would recommend to absolutely everyone!

Had a very nice stay! Very spacious house with basically everything you need. The donkeys in the garden, the enormously green and beautiful surroundings and the possibilities in terms of activities in the area complete it. It was nice that we could get in a little earlier so we could fully enjoy the time there.
