Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

Beautiful home. Close to Von Braun Civic Center and shopping. Nice neighborhood but on a busy highway. Very clean, fresh smelling, nicely decorated, great coffee maker, coffee, snacks and water provided, comfortable beds. Easy check-in. Would stay again. What stands out in my mind is my 85 year old mother-in-law losing her balance in the driveway, falling and rolling down the hill toward Governors Drive. 😂😬 2 broken ribs but she loved the place!
