Monthly Rentals in Big Rideau Lake

This is a lovely house in a beautiful location! Lots of things to do outside and fully equipped kitchen and large bedrooms inside. The only issue (and it's clearly stated in the description) but not having a washing machine was definitely a drawback. We enjoyed our time and could have stayed longer!

Absolute definition of "a slice of heaven". So much love, care, attention to details, and consideration went into this outstanding place to retreat into serenity and peace. We stayed two nights with our two cats, but wish we could stay at least a week to make full use of all the luxury, nature, peace, water, and all available activities - JUST AT THE LOCATION ALONE. It felt like home away from home, while also feeling like a place out of a dream. The place has everything you need, and more. Just bring food and you won't have to leave the site at all! Outstanding kitchen, bathroom, and quality of life amenities, so clean and fresh inside with nature literally at your fingertips. Then, just a short drive away - amazing restaurants, tourism, and more! The host was incredible, kind, and really did think of everything. If you book for just a few days, you might find yourself disappointed when it's time to leave - and already planning your next stay. We sure are!!

Clean and as described. Has all of the essentials, good location.

My family and I stayed for the May Long weekend. The place had gorgeous views, great amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. Communication with the hosts was easy, and they made us feel very welcome. The organization is evident, with a QR code leading you to a guidebook and easy info for wifi access. We loved fishing off the dock, the gorgeous fireplace in the main living room, and a stunning loft where I could work on my novel. There is a varied bookcase full of select authors from several genres. I will definitely consider coming back soon! The place is close to both Perth and Smith Falls, so there are plenty of options for day travel for those who love local shops. Be mindful that the area is woody and rural, so frequent tick checks/ mosquito repellent is a must!
