Beachfront holiday rentals in Birchington-on-Sea

Amazing location, pubs, beach, amusements and fish and chips all in under a 5 minute walk even with a 5 year old in tow! Smart property and very private. We managed to get parked right outside on arrival and didn’t need the car again until we left!

A lovely cottage, we have enjoyed our stay very much. There are lots of nice touches in a good thought for the comfort of guests. Warm house in every room by the time of our arrival; milk, juice, home made jam (delicious!), bread, cereals avalible; little messages that welcome and guide through the house. There are actually 3 bathrooms. All is spotless clean and fresh. We wish to return :)

Lovely spacious cottage matching description and photos. Town centre so easily walkable to the beach, high street and Deal’s many restaurants and bars. Janey’s cottage has everything you’d need if you want to cook, and the back garden is a lovely private sheltered space to spend time outdoors. Communication from Janey was friendly and helpful and it was easy to check in via the lockbox.

We had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage. Beautiful Airbnb and a great location- a few minutes from the beach and restaurants. Lovely sunny garden with furniture and a bbq. Comfortable beds. The stairs are steep but that’s called out in the description. We can’t wait to visit again!

We had a lovely stay in Jubilee Cottage. Spotlessly clean, full of character with everything we needed and more. Kitchen was very well equipped so we could easily cook whatever we fancied. Loads of recommendations for local restaurants and amenities. Lovely touches with welcome gifts from the hosts. Thank you.

We had a great time in this lovely cottage. It has so much character and charm, and loads of space. It was clean, really beautifully decorated and practical - kitchen had everything we needed, big dining table, two outdoor seating areas (so you can get sun morning and afternoon!) and big bathrooms. The stairs are steep - fine for us - but the cottage location is fab- walkable to the beach and the lovely shops and restaurants of Broadstairs. The owner also provided maps and guidebooks for the local area. Communication with the owner was perfect, we had everything we needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, thanks for having us Ellie!

Absolutely gorgeous little flat just two minutes walk to the seafront. It's just generally in an excellent location close to lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. The flat has lots of natural light, lovely furnishings, a comfy bed. It has everything you could need and lots of thoughtful little extras too. It was absolutely spotless on arrival. We appreciated the little gift hamper, how communicative the hosts were and how cosy and welcoming the flat felt. We will definitely be back, thank you so much!

Such a great place! We stayed for the weekend and had the best time, lovely house with everything you need as well as being and nice and clean. Brilliant location too we felt we were super close to everything! Ida and James were super attentive, fab hosts as well!

It’s a really clean caravan, looks exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed, it was a great base to be able to visit family nearby. Communication was great as well. We will be booking again next time we are down.

We absolutely loved staying at the Beach Hut. The location was perfect, we walked into Margate and Birchington. Train and buses so close if needed . Westgate High street was so close and the Swan which was 2 minutes away was great for food and drinks. It was really peaceful and extremely clean, such lovely touches with coffee/tea, milk, water and cereal. We loved the chilled atmosphere sitting in the front of the hut for drinks or coffee , so relaxing. We would definitely stay again and also recommend for a perfect relaxing break and although we only got to wave at Lorraine , David was so friendly and checked to see if all was ok for us . Great communication and we absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for our stay and how attentive and responsive you have been 👍

We had a wonderful stay at Gills caravan. It was spotlessly clean and had a well equipped kitchen. ( we like cooking) The rooms were very comfy and the outside space was a plus in the sunshine. Gill was extremely helpful and friendly and the area was very dog friendly with loads of lovely walks straight from the site. It was our first time In The area and we will definitely be back. This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

First time hiring a hut and I’m so glad I did. This little hut was cute and had everything you needed. I messaged Maria asking for a little something for my mum’s bday and she did 😊. No bad reviews we’re planning on hiring more often, all it could do with is a little tlc ie painting needs updating, the windbreakers need replacing and possibly something for the ground by the doors as it’s hard to open the doors with the stones. But other then that it was lovely and we had such a lovely time , we locked everything up in the hut and took a walk to the pier and came back it was lovely thank you ☺️

This house has absolutely everything you could ever want or need. Swimming pool is great and heated to a perfect temp for the kids. House is enormous and every little thing seems to have been thought of by the hosts including extras such as dressing gowns for all guests, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer in every room. Location is right on the coast with great views out the front of the sea. Garden is lovely. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Alan and Bill

Had a lovely mini break away at Kimberley’s place. Felt right at home straight away and the location was perfect for seaside walks, popping to the near seaside towns and watching the beautiful sunsets this area of the North Kent coast is famous for. The home was well equipped with everything you could possibly need, the beds were really comfortable and I loved the little touch of leaving some bread, butter & milk, snacks and a hot drinks station. Loved it so much that we’ve already booked to go back again in the Summer so I think that says it all! Thankyou Kimberley, you were the perfect host! 😊

What a great find! Literally steps from a beautiful and quiet beach, plus Captain Digby (nearby pub) is actually excellent food with a playground that my daughter loved. Liana and Clive were very kind, flexible, and personable in their communication as well. Great little place all in all.

We had a lovely minibreak here with our kids. The house has a cosy period property feel and a well equipped kitchen. We loved how close the house is to the beach and the shops and restaurants in town. Natasha shared a helpful online guidebook ahead of our stay which helped us plan ahead where we wanted to eat out and even buy ice cream!

We've had such a lovely time at the flat, the panoramic sea views are stunning and the beds are very comfortable. Ella very kindly let us check in early and sent very clear instructions of how to check in as well as a great list of things to do nearby. It's up two flights of stairs but didn't feel too steep and the view was more than worth it. It was great being so close to Walpole pool plus the beautiful seafront walk into Margate. We hope to return!

We had a wonderful stay! The flat is tastefully decorated with unique objects in every corner, comfy beds, great living space... we felt right at home!!! The flat is a nice short walk in to Margate old town for great food and drink options, and well placed for longer walks along the Kent coast and beaches in either direction. We hope to be back !!!!

Charming little air bnb in an amazing location. Under 5 mins from beautiful Margate beach, but on a quiet side street. The property is a cosy, little 2 bed house. Homely and uncluttered. Even has a little, covered courtyard style garden for chillin' (and drying wet swimming trunks). The hosts, Zack & Georgia, were friendly, super helpful and polite. They always replied very quickly and you got the feeling nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The house even has free parking adjacent to the property. Which is super helpful, as anyone travelling with young children knows you tend to pack half the house. We'd def stay in this little gem of a find again and would highly recommend. Right from the start, Vicky was very kind. While walking to the Airbnb from the train station she offered to come pick us up. The place was cute, clean, and just right for two people. It's very close to the ocean and in a beautiful area. We would definitely stay here again.

Lisa's place was fantastic. The property is great, full of character, well decorated and really felt at home. The location is spot on, walking distance to the beach and little playground. The house has everything we need and more. Our kids had a great time. I can't recommend it enough. Thanks Lisa.

Great little pad over Ramsgate beach. It was peaceful, clean and easy. Everything described about it was true. We look forward to booking again.
