Apartment holiday rentals in Bird Rock, San Diego

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful location, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The location was absolutely ideal. Nestled in a serene area yet close to local attractions, it made exploring effortless. The setup of the house was perfect. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. The inside was pristine. It was spotless and well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The accommodations exceeded our expectations! With ample space and comfortable furnishings, we felt like we were in a luxury retreat. The breathtaking views were the cherry on top. Waking up to such stunning scenery was a highlight of our trip. I cannot wait to rent here again in the Fall! Highly recommended!

Perfect location right on mission beach, and we loved the close vicinity to our favorite restaurants! It also came with sand toys & amenities for our toddler which was a huge plus. Only thing that could have made the stay any better is a broom to use, as the sand does start to accumulate after many days at the beach. Overall though, 10/10!

What a wonderful place for our family vacation! Our family with three kids ages 2 - 8 found this a perfect spot to rest our legs after a long day of exploring the attractions of San Diego. We felt very comfortable here and it was sparkling clean. The host even has toys for the kids and the Roku TVs made it easy to log into our apps so they could watch their shows. We were within walking distance of La Jolla beach which was a perfect way to wind down in the evening. There is a cafe below the unit which has great coffee and you MUST try the breakfast burrito. See if you can finish it! The host was super communicative and gave very clear instructions on how to access the space and what to do. It is also stocked with extra toiletries just in case you forget something. They even had little packs of sunscreen which came in handy. We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

The apartment was so close to all the restaurants and easy to get to anywhere within around 15 minutes drive. Tina was an amazing host and on hand to answer any questions.

This was our second stay at this apartment, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We love being so close to the beach and within easy walking distance of Ocean Beach. For week-long visits, having a well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook a few meals at home. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and having access to a washer and dryer is a huge plus. We will stay here again on our next trip to San Diego.

Beautiful interior. Bright on the 2nd floor and loft because of the many windows/skylights. The description exaggerated the view - a glimpse of the water in the distance, flat building roofs in near view and some problem window panels. But still bright. Nicely located for walks in the neighborhood and to coffee and sandwich shops. Nicely relaxing stay.

This was the second time that my family stayed at this AirBnB, and we absolutely love the condo's proximity to the beach. The condo itself is clean with all the basic essentials that you need... boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, and cooking supplies. Both of the times that we've stayed here the condo has been very quiet; we've never heard noise from neighbors. The condo community has several pools, hot tubs, and a tennis court plus the spectacular clubhouse with panoramic ocean views. There are lots of little coffee shops and places to walk to near the condo community and it's very family friendly. The mattresses and pillows are dated, but aside from that this condo is truly a gem.

So close to the beach and plenty of room in and out. We had a great stay. Thank you!

Awesome stay! Super clean and comfy

Great and beautiful place! So close to the beach! Had all the amenities except a kitchen sponge for dishes. The cleaning crew came a day before check out, which was a little uncomfortable.. but overall the location and place were great and the host was so nice and responsive!

unit is very clean. offers plenty of beach toys and such. centrally located two small shopping and restaurant district. easy 1 mile walk to La Jolla cove.

We had a great stay at Bill's place! It looked just like the pictures and was very clean and well-stocked! The location was perfect and was in a very walkable area. Bill was super responsive and accommodating, and we'd definitely stay at his place again!

Enjoyed our stay so much. Paolo was a great host. You literally have everything you need here. The bed was so comfortable. The balcony was so cute and the natural lighting and all the windows was amazing to have. Would stay here again!!

I had a great time staying at Thelma De La Paz’s place! The space was cozy, very clean, and exactly what I needed for a comfortable stay. Thelma was a wonderful host - polite, welcoming, and super responsive to any questions I had. Highly recommend!

Awesome place on the beach! Being able to open the screen doors to feel the breeze and hear the ocean made us excited to come back from exploring the area. Easy to get to the car in/out when needed. Beach access directly at the bottom of the apartment, using all the provided beach accessories Nick provided in the well equipped apartment. Plenty of bars and restaurants walkable, or even stores to grab a bottle of wine to stay in. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would definitely book again for our next San Diego trip.

Great Place, Great View, Great Location - Was Perfect!

We had an amazing stay here!! Beautiful ocean views, the most wonderful beach nearby in walking distance, and the home was exactly as described. Everything was perfect and felt so luxurious. We cooked every day in the kitchen, and we had everything we needed! The kitchen was well stocked. We were grateful to have so many towels as we would go to the beach twice a day or more!! We didn’t get to use the pool because we were so busy, but what an added plus to have as an option! The bed was extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of spare linens/blankets if needed. The AC was so nice! Bathrooms were stocked and spotless! It was our first time staying somewhere with a washer/dryer in the unit, and now I can’t imagine ever staying somewhere without one!! Getting into the Airbnb and parking in the garage was so easy, and we appreciated Anne checking in on us. This is our favorite Airbnb that we have ever stayed at in California, and we hope to be back soon :) we were so impressed!!

We have stayed in many airbnb all over the world and this place, by far, is the most complete in amenities. It had everything you need and then some. We spent a lot of time just watching the view. This place is a gem.
