Holiday rentals with a patio in Bird Rock, San Diego

We loved staying here! Our only critique is that there were only 2 pillows in the bed but aside from that everything was perfect! The patio is so nice and it’s such a great walk to the beach and bay!

It was a wonderful stay! Exactly as described with all amenities! We utilized the bikes a lot to get around the beaches! It was lovely and I will certainly remember the spot if we’re in the area again and recommend to friends! Thank you again Rex!!!

This wonderful find was amazing!! Beautiful decor, not cluttered, very clean and everything had a place and easy to find. They made sure that if you forgot something, they had it there for you! Richard literally thought of everything, we were amazed!! Very cozy outside with a lovely fireplace to sit around and beds to sit in the sun 😎 If you stumble across this place, you will not be disappointed ! Unbeatable location - Museum of Contemporary Art and the Cove are both within waking distance. The place is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful spot despite being so close to the cafes, shops and major attractions. Would recommend staying here if solo traveling or in group of 2.

This is hands down one of the best stays my husband and I have ever had! Not only was the place super easy to find, but it was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The host, Connie, was extremely kind and flexible with us when our check in was late. She made us feel right at home and the value of the stay far exceeds the price. I highly recommend their granny flat in La Mesa and hope I can come back again very soon!!

Great place in the heart of little Italy, close to restaurants and cafes.

The cottage and location are absolutely amazing! The ocean is so close that you can hear the sound of crashing waves from the front and backyard. When I wasn't out visiting family or attending meetings, I spent hours just quietly relaxing in the interior courtyard. It was so quiet and peaceful that you could almost believe you were staying in a tropical oasis! The cottage itself was so clean and comfortable and was stocked with all my essential needs. It absolutely looked like the pictures and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I come to San Diego often for business and to visit family and I will definitely be staying here again. The location of this house is the big seller. Just a short stroll to the beautiful Windinsea beach meant we could walk the beach every morning and evening. Easy drives to downtown San Diego and to the Cove area with its wildlife, restaurants and shopping. The house and amenities are nice too. Hot tub was perfect and the upper deck has great views! The hot water heater was not working but they sent out technicians as soon as they heard about it and was fixed same day. And you do have to walk up a flight of stairs to enter the space so be prepared. The whole family had a wonderful time.

The location is unbeatable!! Neighbors were friendly and we felt so safe! We loved the upstairs perch and the common area that was outside!

The place was so nice and comfortable! Honestly, felt right at home and was in a nice central area. Matthew and Sueki were great at making it easy to check in and out and the parking spot was very convenient with a lit up path to make it easy to find our way in the dark. Close to a shopping center with a grocery store, which was really nice! We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

Avery and Scott are very nice hosts. Their house is better than we expected. Love that they let us use theirs bikes, it's so much easier to live by the beach with it. We had a great time in the house. Everything works perfectly. By the way, 2 adults can sleep well on the couch (for those who are thinking about it).

Nathan and Ryan’s home was outstanding! We hosted my sister’s bachelorette there and it was perfect for 9-10 guests. The details/set up of the house and backyard is great for groups. The beds were very comfortable. They were very accommodating and even had the place ready extra early for check-in. I would definitely stay here again.

This cute little spot was a 10/10. We had the best time in Pacific Beach. We travel to SoCal often to visit family and have looked for years for a spot to come back to…I think we finally found it!! The home was so well appointed, comfortable and super convenient to everything in PB. We loved our stay and look forward to coming back again!

Enjoyed our stay so much. Paolo was a great host. You literally have everything you need here. The bed was so comfortable. The balcony was so cute and the natural lighting and all the windows was amazing to have. Would stay here again!!

I enjoyed staying at Vivian's place and it worked just fine for my purposes. I was in town for a conference and the home is about a 20 minute walk to the convention center. The apartment was well appointed and I appreciated the in-unit washer and dryer. The home is in a quiet area of the city and fairly residential. There weren't many people walking around when I was coming back at night, which did give me pause as a solo female traveler, however I found the surroundings to be safe and had no problems.

Our stay in San Diego was truly memorable, thanks in large part to this fantastic condo. Its central location made it easy to explore everything the city has to offer—SeaWorld, the zoo, museums, Liberty Station, and the beaches—all just a short drive away. One of the highlights for our two-year-old was watching planes take off and land nearby, which added an extra layer of excitement to our trip. The condo was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in it truly made us feel at home. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again—thank you for a wonderful experience!

Carla was a very responsive host with great check-in and check-out instructions! There were a lot of restaurants and spots to check out around the area within walkable distance. Highly recommend!

Great location, wonderful service.

Amazing stay for me and my boyfriend! The location is central enough to everything we wanted to do and see here in sd. The space was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed! Instructions are listed clearly and communication with Nick was always quick n reliable! There’s some pretty significant construction out in front of the building, so street parking was a bit tricky since the parking space provided in the garage couldn’t accommodate our truck - but that was just a minor inconvenience for our ginormous rental lol.

This is our second time staying at Niloofar’s Airbnb and it was, again, a fantastic experience. It is a great location within walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants and shops nearby. The Airbnb is clean, matches the photos exactly, and was the perfect base camp for a family of four. Niloofar was also extremely responsive; after an initial mixup she immediately made sure we had a pack n’ play for our son. Everything about our stay was great; we can’t say enough about this location and host—we hope to be back soon!!

Great and beautiful place! So close to the beach! Had all the amenities except a kitchen sponge for dishes. The cleaning crew came a day before check out, which was a little uncomfortable.. but overall the location and place were great and the host was so nice and responsive!
